Listen, I saw an abuelita packing up orders and knew this place was still going to hit after all these years. Granted I have come to Empanadas and More a few times since my last visit. This time around, I ordered the chicken soup, shrimp and potatoes empanada and a few Columbian snacks. The prices may be a bit higher, but the portions have not skimped in the slightest. The soup was pretty much 2/3rds chicken and in this economy? Not complaining at all. It even came with the lil cob of corn again! The shrimp and potato empanada was filled with fluffy potatoes and shrimp. Make sure you get the hot sauce to drizzle over. Its like cholula with actual heat and makes a great addition to the nada. Its still pick up and go. And service is quick and efficient. But still cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Empanadas were great, my burrito was decent, big, but the pork skin was inedible from how thick and chewy it was. Not good in a burrito. The plantains, steak, and chorizo was good. I'd try this again without the pork. read more

Great spot for empanadas and more! Literally lol. They have such an extensive menu but at the same time, it's all food you will crave for. The service is always up to par. Here's the Scoop! This place is a gem! I found this place on Yelp as a suggestion to check out! It has be added to my list of great food restaurants. They are a take out restaurant with many choices. They have bbq, baked, fried foods, salads, empanadas and more just like their title. Oh and the soup that comes in the Sancocho is fabulous! Portions are very nice for the price. Food is seasoned well and very tasty. The flavor is awesome, I've ordered several times and will continue because the food is delicious and the service is very friendly and quick! I've been a loyal customer of this gem in Nesconset since they first opened, but recently I found myself craving something I hadn't enjoyed in years--a Kibbe. It wasn't on their menu, but I decided to take a chance and ask if they could make it. The owner told me to give her a few days, and true to her word, she reached out to let me know she had crafted her version and wanted me to come in and try it. Let me say this--she absolutely nailed it. The Kibbe was outstanding. Impressed, I placed a catering order for a Labor Day party that following Monday. Once again, the owner exceeded expectations--not only were the flavors of the Kibbe and empanadas top-notch, but I later learned she had actually opened the store specifically to fulfill my order. That level of customer service is almost unheard of today. The catering spread was a hit; every guest raved about the food and several said they plan to order from Empanadas and More themselves in the future. From my experience and theirs, this is more than just a local spot--it's a place that delivers excellence, passion, and true care for its customers. By far the best, tastiest Colombian Food in Suffolk! The portions was plenty. I got the Steak with Onions, Breaded Pork-chops and fried chicken. They all came with rice and beans. I have to admit, I was completely blown away by how good this place was. Classic "don't judge a book by its cover". From the outside (and inside) this place is nothing you'd really notice, BUT I am so grateful we rolled the dice and got food here. Absolutely delicious. -Colombian Burrito: 5/5, this thing was MASSIVE. I was intimidated when I opened the bag. Freakin delicious. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My mouth is watering as I write this... -Empanadas (Buffalo Chicken, Banana/Nutella, Cheese, & Apple): 5/5, across the board these empanadas were amazing. Delicious takeout/to go spot, glad we found it while visiting the area and needed something good to bring on our way with us for lunch. The mini piasa is a misnomer because there was absolutely enough food there for 2 meals, and the regular piasa could have easily fed 3. Both were A+ and exactly what we were looking for, probably better than our local place in terms of the quality of the meat. I was in the area craving a legit dish of chicken rice n beans .. This place did more than come through. First off, I had a difficult time deciding on what I wanted to order. The place smelled incredible and the menu was filled with many options. I settled for my chicken rice n beans. A pounded out piece of grilled chicken, white rice, beans, and sweet plantain. Because I had asked about the mango chicken , yes they have a mango chicken, they put some of that incredible mango sauce on the dish for me. I left starving but after cleaning my dish I was more than satisfied and full. It was absolutely a solid, fresh tasting, meal. I will certainly be back again when I'm in the area. Wow. Oh. My. God. so yea I've been left pretty much speechless verbally so I decided im gonna channel that in a Yelp review. The super skeptic that I am, I've been wanting to try this place for awhile like almost since it opened, but with all new places I decided to wait it out until the biz works out it's kink and man I wish I hadn't waited so long. I don't think I can remember a time when I stopped dead while I was eating to write a review. Mind you I didn't even go to the brick and mortar, I ordered through DoorDash. And can I tell you? That didn't mean sh*t, like when it was delivered I damn near had 3rd degree burns when he handed it to me(ok that's a reach but it was piping) that's how fresh the food. I ordered a sh*t ton of food just to get a taste of what this place had to offer, all different type of empanadas. Believe it or not f*cking barbeque!! like ribs brisket and the like, who the f*ck does that at an empanada joint?! This guy!!! this is where I'm pissed Yelp doesn't do emojis because there'd be a lot of drooling and crying emojis, FML!! -insert eye roll emoji here- This meal is/was epic I ordered the combo BBQ along with empanadas and a few of there sides, and let me tell you... DO NOT SLEEP ON THEIR POTATO SALAD, I i took a bite and kept putting the lid back on. Every 2 minutes I was convincing myself I just had to taste it again "just to make sure". I kept opening container after container of their sides just to see when I could start hating on them. That clearly did NOT happen. And here we are. In turn this place is legit and good AF!! they covered all bases and touched on every aspect of their menu without anything lacking. Recently tried this cute little hole in the wall. While the menu is extensive and can be overwhelming give yourself some time to try a few different items because everything is so reasonable and worth it, everything tasted very authentic and fresh. Best chicken quesadilla I've had in a very long time! I also tried their beef & cheese empanada and it was delicious! Their buffalo chicken empanada was good but the chicken was a bit dry, However the quality and flavor of everything was delicious so to me this place is still worth 5 stars. My father tried the Brisket arepa and loved it! I went back less than a week later and a family member tried the chicken burrito which he said was delicious! I am so glad to have found this spot as I will be adding it to my list of an affordable restaurants to order from when I don't feel like cooking! read more

Tiny hole in the wall place but so good! The owner was there and was so friendly and loving. Ordered the mini Paisa Lunch and it was so delicious. The steak was cooked well, it was very tasty and tender. The chicaron was perfectly fatty and meaty and super crispy. Nicely cooked egg and fresh avocado as well. I didn't get any rice as I don't eat carbs but I'm sure it would have been great as well! read more

Delicious authentic Colombian food. Great variety traditional dishes, Large selection of empanadas and the stuffed arepas are tasty. The staff is beyond nice and super sweet. Try the chicken chicharrones and the hot sauce/green sauce. Highly recommend 5/5!!!!!! read more

Delicious! We just finished stuffing our face with some fantastic empanadas. I had the portobello/spinach/feta , rice/ bean/pork and chicken/cheese. Muah chef kiss! Not greasy at all. Big portions. This meal blew away the 40 dollar per plate garbage I had last night from a restaurant in Ocean Beach, Fire Island. Everyone enjoyed the meal. The food is good, but really, who puts peas in burritos? Why don't they have just a classic burrito. Meat, cheese, lettuce, beans, rice, sour cream, and pico? On that note, their pico is a bit too "chunky" for my taste, but I know lots of people like it like that, so whatever. Get rid of peas. read more

Was casually driving by this place and decided to stop in for a bite and I'm very glad I did! I tried the chicken and cheese empanada and the ground beef and cheese empanada. Both were absolutely amazingggg! I'm typically #TeamBeefEmpanada but I surprisingly preferred the chicken. I found it to be just a little more flavorful. I can't wait to go back and grab some more especially since the price is right and I'm not talking about the game show! read more

I've driven past this location many times meaning to stop & give it a try. I was born and raised in Central America and have also traveled to many countries in the Caribbean, Central & South America. One thing is for sure, all those countries love their empanadas, and everyone does them differently. I'm always on the hunt here in Long Island for that perfect empanada. However, after giving this place a try, it should be called MORE...and also empanadas, because they have so much more on the menu than just empanadas. Ok, so on this particular trip, I just wanted to try the empanadas...but I have a particular taste, and that is that I like my empanadas strictly with BEEF....as in ground beef. I do not like foreign objects in my empanadas such as raisins, egg, potato, cheese, etc. Just the beef please. I didn't see this specifically on their menu, but when I asked, they said no problem, and made me some fresh ones just the way I like it. Since I had to wait for fresh empanadas, I wasn't about to complain....who doesn't want their empanadas hot & fresh? So while I waited I asked them if I could try a cup of the Horchata, which is a cold cinnamon tasting milky beverage....oh man was it good. I got to chatting with the woman behind the counter and it turns out the owners are Columbian. I've always loved Columbian food, so I'm so happy that this place is here. This place is strictly take out...you can also order through Grubhub for home delivery. My empanadas came out, I had ordered 4 to take home, 2 for me, 1 for my wife and 1 for my daughter....they gave us some killer sauces also.....and the empanadas were less than 10 bucks for 4 of them...priced right. Oh, the taste....they were EXACTLY as I like them...nice crispy, but also chewy crust....great flavor & spicyness, but not too spicy, flavor of the meat...then dipping it into the spicy sauce....ooh baby! It's a total cliche and I've used it in many reviews before, but based on the taste of the empanadas and the variety of what I saw on their menu.....I'm going to say it....like the Terminator...I'LL BE BACK. read more

Another great take out spot! Great lunch deals with amazing food. I love a good empanada and this place definitely delivered. My favorites were the guava with cheese, ground beef with olives and raisins, and the ham, cheese and pineapple. My picky husband loved it as well. The best part is that they had the pink and green sauce I love so much. Another place for the win, super happy to have found this place. The mango chicken was perfect. And my husband loved his chicken enchiladas . Can't wait to try more dishes. read more

Just picked up a mini paisa from empanadas and more in Ronkonkma. Comes with steak, rice, beans, egg, avocado plantain and pork. I also got an additional plantain empanada. Absolutely the best Colombian food Iv ever had!! Everything was so well seasoned, fresh and delicious. This is the lunch portion- so generous. 10/10 recommend!! read more

I read so many great reviews for Empanadas and More so I thought I'd give them a try. The empanadas were small and didn't have much filling inside. I was surprised, though, that they weren't greasy.
