This is a very good taco spot. We stopped in for some tacos and ended up trying a few things from the menu, and we were extremely happy with all of it. The tacos are top notch, we had steak, fish, tongue (Lengua), Al Pastor, and chorizo. The ingredients are fresh and very vibrant, I'd highly suggest getting them Mexican style with corn tortillas. We also had tostadas which, like the tacos, are tasty and come with heaps of fresh meats and vegetables and really tasty refried beans. The empanadas are delicious. We had ground beef, and it's served with an extremely special pink sauce that we could not get enough of. They do serve chips and salsa, and the salsa is very spicy. I am a heat addict and I just love it, but the average person may not be able to handle it, and kids may need to avoid it. The prices are very good for the quality of the food that you are getting and the service is impeccable. They treat you so well that it's a treat to return over and over. Also, they take credit cards, so it's a breeze to pay right at the table. My son orders Horchata, and it's literally a rice pudding flavored drink. Utterly spectacular. read more

El Rodeo Taco is a really beautiful restaurant. I went tonight and got 2 burritos and fried, sweet plantains. The food was really, really good! It's a little pricey, but the size and quality of the burritos definitely justified what I spent. They must have weighed 2 pounds each and they were not just rice and beans. The steak burrito was loaded with meat from end to end. I only ate a little more than half and I was full. If you want really delicious , legit latin food, don't waste your money on Moe's or Chipotle. El Rodeo Taco is 100x better and you'll spend about as much money. Went on recommendations from yelp.. our experience, place was empty when we went in so little worried... Got busy after about 15 minutes of arrival. No consistency in the food we ordered 3 steak fajitas and all were different. 1 dish the steak was brunt and came out sizzling the other 2 looked like they had been sitting for awhile kinda looked like the steak was boiled didn't come out sizzling at all.. No flavor at all on anything. We also had burritos no flavor and fish tacos which were pretty good. The service was good, the wait time was good. Waitress was very nice. My family and I love this place! Their food is always fresh and delicious. Whether we ordered take out or dined in, we have never had to wait long for our food. They have even taken my dietary needs into consideration (lactose intolerant) so I've had the salads without shredded cheese, for example. First time at this place and walking in, there are 4 dining tables for sit in. We ordered grilled shrimp platter which comes with yellow rice, beans, salad, and 3 corn tortillas. The shrimps were tasty and grilled nicely. As for the yellow rice and beans, they were just okay nothing stellar, We also ordered nachos bell grande for about $12 and is certainly big enough for 2 ppl. It came with refried beans, nacho cheese, and ground beef. I was surprised it didn't come with sour cream or other toppings. My son had a grilled chicken quesadilla which he really liked a lot as well as a ground beef empanada and wow that was huge and quite flavorful. Overall, there are some that were hits and some just so so, and would give it 3 stars based on today's visit. The cashier is very nice and attentive. It was two of who went there on a Saturday evening and I really wanted a taco salad in a shell as those are hard to find now. We walked up to the counter and the girl working didn't even acknowledge we were there. Mind you shes busy on her phone. And other fiasco I'm sure but I walked away to look for a drink. When he pays he goes outside to wait for the food. I once again have to flag this girl down(who should be near the register already) to ask her if he told her it's to go. She's all confused now like she didn't take our order. Just go to the back and tell them it is to go. It isnt hard. She then goes to text her buddies, AGAIN. And is ignoring the two other people who are in there. Then at 6:10 she leaves. So she was just trying to get out of there to go hang out with people and didn't care one bit about the guest in front of her. So now 6:15 our order comes out and the guy does know who's it is cause you know, the dimwitted never communicated and ran out the door. So I ask what's in it and he says three shrimp tacos, a beef and a steak taco and a steak quesadadilla. I know what my BF ordered so it's ours. I told him I ordered a shrimp taco salad. And he starts apologizing and saying she put in the wrong order. I know she did. She needs to not work with people. She's too worried about her friends than her guests. So I take my three hardshell shrimp tacos and not a salad like I specifically asked for and left. My boyfriend wanted to go back and exchange it but he wasn't really bilingual so here I am writing this instead. Because of that girls terrible service we will not be back.
