Our order came out correct and timely. We were sat in the side area which was decorated to appear like it was half inside and half outside. It was a water feature and live plants which was nice. The food was ok, and the drinks were great. Although it was cute and had ample seating at the bar, inside, and outside, I don't know that I would return unless asked by someone else. The food was just ok and there are a number of other places in the surrounding areas that serve much better Spanish food. If you decide to go, the empanadas were the best thing we ate during our visit. They seemed to be "home made" which was nice.

The salsa had good flavor. To drink I had a blueberry margarita and my fiancé had a watermelon margarita. Both were great and not overly sweet. For an appetizer we shared the chori- fondue. The menu stated it was served with a side of tortillas, which we didn't get. Not a big deal..we dipped the chips into the fondue instead. For my entree I had the Baja shrimp tacos. They started off with good flavor but then in my first taco one shrimp still had the shell on it. I know that sometimes the shell is left on for flavor purposes, but not in tacos that one is bitting into. I then saw the shell was on another shrimp in my third taco. This was definitely a poor oversight and poor attention to detail as it wasn't on every shrimp. Eater beware. My fiancé had arroz con pollo which he enjoyed. The serving was quite large and he has atleast another two meals for later. Service was alright, but our server never came back to check on us. Overall, I'd say it was just okay and average.

What's one way to squeeze out the last few hours of a staycation? Margaritas and apps of course!…read more So with the Honey in tow, we landed here on Sunday evening August 16th. The way the small bar is set up, because of the wall separating it from the dining room...it gives it an intimate vibe I really like. The ambient lighting and pleasing decor sets the mood to enjoy your choice of cocktails. We asked the bartender if she could make the cucumber margarita on the menu spicy? She obliged. Those drinks weren't as spicy or refreshing as we had hoped. We stuck with the classic margaritas for next round. They were just right! I'm not sure if themed weekends are a regular occurrence here. But this night was the final night of their Mango Madness Weekend. We were served plain nachos with a mango salsa dip. The Honey devoured it. I prefer my salsa with a red sauce and a bit of a spicy kick. I decided to give the steam mussels in a sauce with mango pieces, a try. I did not know this was the combination of spicy and sweet that I needed in my life!! We ordered extra bread and sopped up every last bit of it!! We made a point to tell the bartender how much we enjoyed it! We were grateful and disappointed, when she told us we had just eaten the last of it. Dang! We would have certainly asked for another order!! We left there giddy and satisfied. I wasn't even mad that I had to go back to work the next day! I keep thinking, how can we convince them to make the Mango Mussels a permanent menu item? Meet us there and let's discuss it over margaritas! Thank me later.....

He forgot our guacamole, which should've remained forgotten, since it was underseasoned and unremarkable. I was a bit shocked when we got the bill. The MP was $15, for the small, bland portion. Cubano quesadilla appetizer was good and substantial. Sangria was $35 and suffered from a serious lack of alcohol. My chipotle shrimp entrée didn't look like anything special, but tasted much better than it looked. My companions softshell crab taco special was good. The woman who came to our table who (was not the server) did not understand. the question asked to her about the bill, and as a result, gave an incorrect answer. Mostly Decent food (poorly presented) some overpriced items, indifferent service. This was my first time here and I'm not sure I would return.

It's been around forever .If the Star Wars cantina had singers this would be the place . I saw people of every size , shape , gender , and color get up on that stage . And I heard every possible genre of music . My original thought was maybe some of those people should not be up onstage . A few of the songs were kinda brutal . But hell , they tried !! I didn't get up there ! As Clint Eastwood would say ,"A mans got to know his limitations ." And there were some really talented people there as well. And everyone rooted for one another . Everyone was supportive and polite . The bar tenders were great it was full but not crowded and it actually was a cool vibe . Would I go back ? Maybe But that's just me . I flat out can't sing . If you can sing or like to sing , check it out. Everybody should check it out at least once I think , And yes , my friend killed it !

Outside was a sign with the Lunch specials, I decided on the taco's, you get a choice of beef, pork or chicken. Granted it wasn't busy as this was somewhat after your typical lunch hour but the food came out quickly and was brought to my table.
