The food is not that good if you're in a pinch, you can get the Sicilian pie from them. That is the only thing that they make that is good.

Our first experience ordering from Nino's Pizzeria was great!! We decided to give it a try after reading all those fantastic reviews and learning that they offer delivery. Let me tell you, it definitely lived up to the hype! We ordered 3 different pies and their garlic knots. I requested a thin, well done crust. The regular pie with pepperoni had the perfect balance of flavors, with a robust tomato sauce, gooey cheese, and savory pepperoni. The white pie was a heavenly combination of creamy ricotta cheese, garlic, and herbs, creating a rich and indulgent taste. And, of course, the margarita pie, with its fresh basil, ripe tomatoes, and melted mozzarella, transported us straight to the streets of Italy. One thing that stood out to me was how perfectly they executed the thin and crispy crust we had requested. It added a delightful crunch to every bite, making the pizza even more enjoyable. There was no flop which I love! Another great aspect of Nino's Pizzeria is their delivery service. Superior customer service and excellent Brooklyn-style pizza collide in beautiful harmony at Nino's!! We have lived less than a mile from this pizzeria for nearly two years and tried it for the first time today.... we have been missing out! The pizza is easily the best we've had in the area, and the owners are just delightful. Crust was crisp, with just the right amount of chewiness. Sauce tasted great - NO sweetness (this is important to us... we do not like sweet sauce), and a nice accent of oregano. Cheese was just enough, nice stretch, and cooked perfectly. We also had garlic knots which were soft, doughy, and had a generous amount of fresh garlic. We called to place our order (pickup only, cash only), and the gentleman that answered the phone was very sweet. He had a rich, Italian accent, and was gracious to answer the few questions I had. We were given an order number, and told it would be ready in 35 minutes. Pickup was easy, and our order was fresh and hot. The owners greeted us and were just as great in person as they were on the phone. There are plenty of booths inside, and everything was very clean. We have no complaints! This is my old neighborhood pizza joint and there's a reason they've been around longer than I can remember. Nino's is a no-frills, old school pizza place serving up fresh pies, calzones, and heros, so don't be fooled by the look of this place. This past weekend was my first time back in quite a while, and I remembered walking in while the small of nostalgia hit me. I ordered a meatball calzone, my fiancé and his father ordered chicken parm hero. The wait was a little while but worth it for the fresh food and took it to go. The prices were pretty reasonable and I don't think they've changed much over the years. I took my calzone out and it was pretty big (I ordered a small). Hot, fresh, delicious cheese and meatball...I only ate half before I went into a calzone-coma. I'll definitely be back here, this last visit rekindled my love for Nino's :) read more

When I was a kid I had pizza Fridays, yeah I was a lucky kid. We'd rotate spots but this place was so great and so close! This pizza, at its core, is the epitome of what pizza should be; there's a good chew to the crust, yet it's still thin, still dry and crispy; the pie has a great flavor and a good bit of sauce and cheese. Fire up your pizza stone before picking up the pie and when you get it Home just toast up the bottom of that crust to get a nice, perfect, crisp bottom. (The take out pizza box has long softened pizza pies, so I often get my oven roaring to quickly zap that heavenly za with a bit of crispness. Over the years they've aged and the spot is a bit tired. I never go and I'm sad about that. He always remembered us and treated us good but my taste buds get greedy for more variety. I went back recently and the man is still there and still cookin' up some great pizza. It takes a minute but I'd order a fresh pie and some of their awesome knots. A jolt of energy and love could do this place good but it's an old school joint doin' old school things. A relic but refreshing in a way. Ever since I was a kid I have been eating here. Before all the law suits, our middle school band teacher would pile us into his car and as long as you had money he would take us to Ninos on lunch break. Joe and the crew are making pizza the way it has been made since the 40's. Its a cash place and they do not deliver but it worth it. Each PIE is carefully handled so you get the best pizza. The sauce is a delicate balance of salt and spice. I do not like sweat sauce. In our house, We do not say Pizza fridays, we say ninos fridays!!! read more

I had an entree this evening from this pizza joint. This entree was fantastic. chicken Penne Ala Vodka this dish as my Aunt Jeannie would say; "To die faw." Seriously good- hence they gain a star. I went with the breaded chicken version. It was the kind of good where you burn the roof of your mouth and you still eat. 15$ entree comes with a decent side salad and bread. read more

The regular & Sicilian slices are great! Chicken Parm Hero's are very tasty as well. But..$7.50 for a small garden salad with grilled chicken??? This restaurant has a menu posted on line that says it is as of 2018 with many items listed but when called to order a simple item listed they state it is not on the menu! I use to come here every now and then to pick up pizza. My dad would usually order it sometimes. Their pizza seems just right with limited salt and equal amount of cheese and sauce. The only downside is their pizza seems a little doughy whenever I eat it because I can definitely taste the bread more than the cheese. I love Nino's! It holds a special place in my heart because it's close to where I live and my dad used to always surprise us with a pie he'd pick up from here. It's a really simple establishment, not a ton going on aesthetically, just your simple pizzeria, which I like! The pizza has always been consistently good, I like a good sauce to cheese ratio, with a little more sauce than cheese, like just a smidge, and this place does that for me, it's not too salty either. Nino's is my favorite pizzeria they're always very nice and greet you with a smile. The shop is very close to my house so I go there very often but I've never had a bad meal. Everything is reasonably priced and like today I bought two pies and they gave me A box of garlic knots for free. That happens quite often or so it seems when I go there they're willing to just give us garlic knots. I would recommend anybody to go there. read more

This is my go to place. Owner's are really nice, cash only is how these places survive. I think it's hands down the best place for a pie in Patchouge, and that's a big compliment. Only complaint I can think of is they only sell Pepsi products. Don't judge a book by it's cover. I they never update the interior, that's it's character. Pizza really good. Of course if you only want 2 slices, the cheese pizza is already premade and you just add on your toppings. By the time you get your reheated pizza, the crust is overdone and is like eating a cracker. Ninos isn't the only place guilty of this. The only alternative is to order a whole pie. Anyways, prices were reasonable, booths were clean. Could stand to be updated though. The inside was very bland and no attention to details or decor. The guy was nice though. They nickel and dime you every chance they get. This is the only place I've ever been to where the price for the same item changes every time you go there. Seems like they charge whatever they feel like charging on any particular day. SHADY!!! read more

Place is in desperate need of a remodel. Does not accept credit cards which is a turn off. Pizza is ok nothing to write home about.
