Came here for dinner at the behest of my girlfriend as a summer-after-beach must. It may not look like much from the road (and well, that's the truth) but it packs so much charm into its small package. Think of it like a diner that happens to actually have good seafood. Good variety, mostly handheld eats, for way more affordable than most places. Even on a Saturday night service was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful to us and those around us. Parking can be a little hairy, they have a dedicated lot, but I would say it's worth it to pay the 5 bucks across the street for parking and stay for a little bit and enjoy yourself. We decided to get an order of waffle fries, the The Great South Bay wrap and the Ranch Bacon Chicken wrap (with American cheese and avocado added in), with two summer blends to drink, which is basically their version of an Arnold palmer. Fries were well seasoned and a small order is a perfect amount to split for two. Of the two wraps, the ranch bacon chicken was my favorite, there might not be anything particularly special about the ingredients themselves, but it was fresh and delicious! The summer blend is the perfect pair for a hot summer day too. We were both too full for ice cream but we sure were tempted by all the great options they had. Flo's is a quaint, unique eatery located near Cory Beach in Patchogue. My wife and I come here frequently on our way to the beach. What sets flo's apart from other establishments in the area is its throwback atmosphere. you feel like you're at a 50s luncheonette. Flo's offers outdoor seating only. They have many picnic tables surrounding the restaurant. You order at a window and pick up your food shortly after at an adjacent window. Food wise they have all the basics you would expect to find at a summertime eatery. I would say they are pretty pricey for what they offer. In addition to the food, they have a nice selection of ice cream, shakes as well as tropical cocktails. We consider this a nice place to stop off for a quick bite before heading to the beach. In my opinion, I would not say that this is a destination restaurant by any means. It is, however, a uniquely quaint place with a great vibe Definitely the feel of a vacation right here at home. Wow! I did not know this hidden gem was only 5 minutes from my apartment. It's also by Corey Beach, which I also did not know existed. Flo's is a super cute outdoor restaurant. You walk up, order and wait for your name to be called. To eat, I had the ahi tuna sandwich and upgraded to waffle fries. It was so delicious and fresh! It came with thinly sliced cucumber, a generous amount of avocado and perfectly seared/cooked ahi! It also came with a spicy mayo type sauce. SO GOOD. While it came with regular fries, I upgraded to waffle fries which were cooked perfectly, nice and crispy...just the way I like them. To drink I had "Mrs Blue Point." I do not remember everything that was in it, but it was a delicious cocktail. I can't wait to return ! read more

Hi Friends, I was seeking a dog friendly spot after visiting my niece and grand niece. Da google recommended Flo's. Cute little roadside shack, though it does have an adult beverages menu. Order at a window and wait for your name to be called. There are outdoor tables on a beach stone patio, so do be careful if unsure of foot or if it's wet. My BLT with avocado was tasty, though for the price, it should've had fries (plus, why the heck did they give me packets of ketchup for a BLT, especially since there was mayo on the ciabatta bread) The young lady manning the counter was nice, very friendly and attentive As I added a $10 shake to my order, I did find myself rehashing the Pulp Fiction "$5 milkshake" scene. "$5?" "yes" "and it's just milk and ice cream?" Yea, a decent milkshake, but not a $10 shake With everything served in paper and clamshells, there is nothing fancy, the view is immediately of the road or the parking lot. But you can almost throw one of those patio beach stones into the ocean, you're that close to the sea. I've been coming to Flo's every spring and summer for nearly 20 years. I adore its hometown, beachy vibes and its easy accessibility from Corey Beach. I have many happy memories eating here with friends and family on sunny afternoons. The chicken club wrap (with avocado) and the Great South Bay wrap with fries on the side always hit the spot. When Flo's opens for the season for the first time each year, it's always so exciting. With it comes the sunshine and long summer days. The only nitpick I have is how expensive it's gotten. For two people, two wraps, two drinks, and a side of fries easily costs $50. I have been searching for a place that sells tasty lobster rolls--both cold and hot. I did not like the cold one that I recently had at The Lobster Roll aka Lunch, which has won many Bethpage's Long Island Best Lobster Roll contests. So I came to Flo's, who last won this contest in 2014. I bought a hot lobster roll one day and a cold one the next. The hot lobster roll was delicious. The lobster meat was drizzled with butter and placed between a hot and generously buttered, toasted split-top bun. The cold lobster roll, however, was mediocre. It lacked flavor. Both lobster rolls usually come with fries, but instead I got a side salad with some lime-cilantro dressing (the first day) and some balsamic dressing (the next day). The lime-cilantro dressing was good, but the balsamic was mediocre. Effective this year, there is no longer an outside bar. Alcoholic beverages can only be purchased at the window where food orders are taken. No waiters are available, but there are plenty of tables outside where patrons can sit and eat. Parking is free in the large lot across the street for Brookhaven residents with parking permits. Out of town residents must pay a fee at the meter. There is also a small lot on the premises and some free street parking. The nomination period for the 2022 Bethpage's Best of Long Island contest for best lobster roll is now open. Maybe if Flo's makes their cold lobster roll as well as they do their hot one, they would win the contest again! read more

We drove by on a nice day on the weekend and the parking lot across the restaurant was completely packed for people frequenting Corey Beach. We happen to stop by Flo's on a rainy day and was able to get a spot in their private lot with no problem. Their service is fast and apparently they have a discount if you pay by cash. I ordered the Connor Bomber wrap (cajun chicken, summer salsa, french fries, cheddar cheese, chipotle sauce, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard). It tasted great! It was a hefty cost of $20 (inc tip) using my credit card which is pretty pricey! The price on their website, doordash, and in person menus don't seem to match. I think this place is convenient to grab food if you were spending a day at the beach. Probably would go elsewhere for something better tasting. read more

I enjoyed Flo's Blue Point very much! The building itself is very cute and charming. Corey Beach right down the road. There is a huge amount of seating, even when spaced apart. Order at the counter and wait on the other side, grab a clean and sanitizer-equipped picnic table, and they'll bring your food right on over. I had to get the lobster roll after seeing it was on a 2020 list of best lobster rolls on LI, and it was delicious. Huge pieces of tender lobster, light amount of mayo, and a buttery toasted bun. The fries were nothing special, but good. The fried clam strips were also very good and tender. Friendly service, clean, masked staff. Huge bottles of sanitizer everywhere. Flos is my summer spot! I live 40+ mins away but I drive all the way here for the ambiance and their chili cheese dogs. They are award winning! I hate hot dogs but I can put down three of these things. The way they slice the hot dog in half and add the fixings on top make the perfect ratio in every bite. Must try! read more

Today I went and I asked the cashier for 2 cups of water.. my friend and I were both in bathing suits from the beach and it is very hot out. The cashier charged me $5 for a cup of water which would've added $10 to my total. Water should be free, especially at a local restaurant next to a beachfront where many people tend to grab a meal after being in the hot sun all day!! It is not the cashiers fault, but its acts like this that turn me away from returning. I wish I could enjoy the food and quality like I used to, but it's not worth it to go here anymore when you're bound to be ripped off! There's many other local restaurants that would happily give you a free cup of water for the amount of $ you're paying. I wish I could give Flos a 5 star review but when you charge $7.50 for a lemonade and don't tell someone it's that expensive.. not going to happen. I am a local resident and I grew up loving Flos with my friends. Over the past few years the prices have jacked up to the point where it's ridiculous. Aw man...nothing beats a lunch at Flo's. I'm lucky that my girlfriend lives a short 5 min drive away, but it's also a fantastic lunch spot after a day on Corey Beach - easy walking distance. It's a little pricy, but the food is spectacular. My girlfriend's go to order is the Big EZ Wrap which has shrimp, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and southwest sauce. I usually go with the Chicken Club wrap. The bacon is so good. Amazing waffle fries as are the sweet potato fries - they come with a special sweet dipping sauce. Somehow I've never tried their ice cream, but that is certainly the next thing on my list! Oh! They also serve alcohol if you need a crisp beer on a hot day. Pro tip: behind the parking area there's actually a little game area back in the woods with corn hole and such. read more

When I loved in Patchogue, I loved walking over to Flo's Luncheonette for a bite to eat. It is in a great location right by Corey Beach. And now when I visit friends in Patchogue, it is still at the top of the list when ordering in food because the food is always really good AND gets delivered really quickly! Flo's Luncheonette is a great option for appetizers to share, or a meal. Wraps and sandwiches do not come with sides except for a pickle, so you choose what you want to add as far as fries, apps, etc. and I definitely recommend adding some of the seafood apps like the coconut shrimp or fried scallops. It's easy to order too much food, but at least you will enjoy it. My personal favorite menu items are the Big EZ wrap and the Fried Scallops. I've gotten them from the site, via takeout, and from the truck they use for events, and I've never been disappointed. This place is a local gem and a great little landmark for runners and Corey Beach goers alike. read more

Flo's used to be my go to spot but the quality seemed way, way off the past two times I went this year. My go to has been the fried clam wrap but today it was just not good at all. It was 16 dollars for a little wrap that they had to use a paper fry basket to prevent it from rolling in the container. The wrap itself was all lettuce/ raw onions with barely any fried clams. I understand paying for quality food/ small business but this is just not it. Wish I took a pic but I wasn't expecting to write a review. read more

Here for the first time checking out Flo's in Bluepoint . Very cute and cozy luncheonette along with a a bar area !Right up the block is Corey Beach. We arrived around 1:30 and there were just a few people on line, the service was friendly and quick . Prices are reasonable and comparable to other places in the area . We placed our order and it was brought out to us in no time ! The eating areas are keep spotless , while I was there today there was someone continually cleaning . Employees are all wearing masks and gloves and the tables are nicely spaced apart , also on each table is a bottle of hand sanitizer ! They offer a variety of foods burgers , chicken , fish , shakes and more. I had the fish and chips and my daughter had the lobster roll , we shared a side of fried clams . The fish was fresh , light and flaky with a nice batter not at all greasy ! The fries were average . The clams too were very good and the batter was a little different, it had had a sweet taste. I didn't taste the lobster roll but it looked amazing with lots of nice big chunks of lobster ! We will definitely revisit ! read more

I can't believe I finally discovered this place! This is "the"quintessential Long Island clam shack. Cold beer? Yes, Long Island beers on tap. Freshly shucked local oysters & clams? Yep. Want a fried clam platter? Coming right up. And the water is right down the block!! You can swim and then roll up on one of the many outdoor tables. My wife & I came for dinner on a beautiful Friday evening. We parked in the small lot and walked up to the counter. This is such a Long Island treat, to just enjoy all the surroundings as well as eating local fish. I'm glad I'm able to come to Blue Point to get the same quality food normally found in the Hamptons. And we actually came on Lobster Day?? I never heard of this day, every day it seems is now a holiday. So who am I not to be festive?? Lemme get a lobster roll and a cold beer please. My lobster roll? Bangin'. Not too much mayo or fillers, just pure lobster meat on a buttery, toasted roll. Did I just describe heaven?? If its Lobster Day then call me the Pope of Crustaceans because the Lobster Roll made at Flo's Luncheonette was amazing. It's perfect if youre going to the beach and need a drink or some food, that's only if you wanna spend money because I promise you this place is not cheap. It's kind of obsurd. Recently I've come to realize that most beaches just don't have the food availability/quality to properly rock the tastebuds of its beachgoers. Enter Flo's Luncheonette and begin to be jealous of the fact that this down-by-the-beach location will blow away all expectations of a shack of beach-ish grub and leave you wanting to return again...and again...and one more time. Well, I'd say you better run here as quick as you can because Flo's is a seasonal spot. It's all outdoor seating at umbrella-covered picnic tables and some high top counter for standing. But this wasn't always the case in the realm of Flo's Luncheonette. Once upon a time not too long ago there was a second Flo's location in Patchogue that was indoors and was open year round and did have the same awesome menu and drinks and everything. But alas, the building is now closed (albeit for the future of Bluepoint beer). It just makes this original location that much more essential to you needing to stop here. That I did with my gal a few weeks ago and we ordered up some greatness. Flo's has a vast menu so whether you want land, sea, or something in between, she's got you covered. We chose clam strips, coconut shrimp, summer salsa, and The Big EZ wrap. The strips were tender and nicely breaded while the coconut shrimp had a lovely, light crispness and packed full of flavor, especially with a little of the orange marmalade that was provided on the side. Now what is summer salsa you ask? Or maybe you didn't ask, but regardless, it's avocado, corn, black beans, jalapeño, and lime. Accompanied with chips for dipping, you won't be disappointed with this choice. It fits its name so well. Final item was the wrap which was filled with wonderful grilled shrimp, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and spicy mayo to round things out. Delicious is the best way to describe it. I washed down my fabulous portion of it all with a Bluepoint Summer Ale which you'll find on tap around the corner of Flo's at their very own built in bar. There's just so much Flo offers in such a small area! Overall, Flo's Luncheonette is the number one reason to go to Corey Beach. That's right. I said it. Don't even worry about the beach until you've eaten here and had your fill of amazing food at an eastern Long Island staple. Just be ready to be envious of anyone who frequents this beach area. read more

A Wonderful Local Gem! If your in biking/walking distance, take advantage of it! Quick Service, Awesome Prices, Down Right Delicious Menu Options! Located right before Corey Beach, just a warning...it may be quite difficult finding a parking spot, especially during the busy summer hours. Ride your bicycle or walk if you can for a hassle free trip. You can also park your bike right next to your table... how cool is that! I love the overall feel of this place. Very laid back vibes with chill music playing. They also have a pretty large bar where you can sit and throw back a few cold ones. The tables and benches were very clean and once a group got up, a worker would immediately come over and clean the area. The Prices are terrific and there are menu options for every palate. Kids & Adults alike will be able to find an enjoyable meal. The Service was Quick! The workers here are very friendly. Order at the counter and they will call you when your order is finished. They give out a little remote that starts beeping when your order is ready to be retrieved. The Food definitely hit the spot. I had an array of dishes. I will be reviewing what I tried: -Fried Calamari: GET THIS! The calamari was some of the best I've had!! The squid was soft and extremely tender, almost melted in my mouth. Fried to absolute perfection and the garlic aioli was out of this world! I would definitely recommend this. Flo's has been around as long as I can remember, since I was a kid, and is a staple in the area for salads, burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and wraps, and various seafood. The food is perfect for taking home, or sitting and enjoying at one of their outdoor picnic tables. This is a super casual venue, a roadside "hamburger stand" that embraces its beachy surroundings and opens for the summer season from May to September. My family and I love going on a hot summer night. It's a great escape to get down by the water and have some amazing food. We sometimes eat it there and sometimes take it over to the beach (walking distance). It's just one of those things you do when you live on Long Island... an evening by the water, a delicious meal and cool evening breezes. The only real downside is they are popular so it can get very busy during peak times, especially for dinner. Be patient and just try to relax, because the food is worth the wait. I just want to mention that we were really disappointed when they closed their Patchogue location. The food was just as good and it was nice to have a year-round, indoor option. So sad to see it go! It does make me long for the Blue Point location to open its doors (well windows really) for the season soon! (I'm writing this is March when they aren't open yet).
