Waffle fries (regular size)
Tom G.

Came here for dinner at the behest of my girlfriend as a summer-after-beach must. It may not look like much from the road (and well, that's the truth) but it packs so much charm into its small package. Think of it like a diner that happens to actually have good seafood. Good variety, mostly handheld eats, for way more affordable than most places. Even on a Saturday night service was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful to us and those around us. Parking can be a little hairy, they have a dedicated lot, but I would say it's worth it to pay the 5 bucks across the street for parking and stay for a little bit and enjoy yourself. We decided to get an order of waffle fries, the The Great South Bay wrap and the Ranch Bacon Chicken wrap (with American cheese and avocado added in), with two summer blends to drink, which is basically their version of an Arnold palmer. Fries were well seasoned and a small order is a perfect amount to split for two. Of the two wraps, the ranch bacon chicken was my favorite, there might not be anything particularly special about the ingredients themselves, but it was fresh and delicious! The summer blend is the perfect pair for a hot summer day too. We were both too full for ice cream but we sure were tempted by all the great options they had. Would love to come back to this family friendly little nook a whole bunch more to experience everything they've got.

Flo's is a quaint, unique eatery located near Cory Beach in Patchogue. My wife and I come here frequently on our way to the beach. What sets flo's apart from other establishments in the area is its throwback atmosphere. you feel like you're at a 50s luncheonette. Flo's offers outdoor seating only. They have many picnic tables surrounding the restaurant. You order at a window and pick up your food shortly after at an adjacent window. Food wise they have all the basics you would expect to find at a summertime eatery. I would say they are pretty pricey for what they offer. In addition to the food, they have a nice selection of ice cream, shakes as well as tropical cocktails. We consider this a nice place to stop off for a quick bite before heading to the beach. In my opinion, I would not say that this is a destination restaurant by any means. It is, however, a uniquely quaint place with a great vibe Definitely the feel of a vacation right here at home. We typically just get burgers and dogs, etc. As noted above, I would definitely recommend this for a nice little spot to grab a quick bite and then head over to the beach!

The Bacon, Avocado, Tomato Sandwich with bluecheese

The wedge salad sandwich No really it was a BLT w avocado & bluecheese on a cibiatta roll im in love. The flo dog & chili dog were hits as well. Great spot with parking across the street and the water a short walk away

Ahi tuna sandwich, Cooked medium.

Grilled ahi tuna with avocado, pickled cucumber & spicy mayo on toasted ciabatta bread, comes with fries. I ordered mine to be cooked medium. One of my favorite sandwiches for years now, so refreshing and filling.

We visit the ocean after lunch

Hi Friends, I was seeking a dog friendly spot after visiting my niece and grand niece. Da google recommended Flo's. Cute little roadside shack, though it does have an adult beverages menu. Order at a window and wait for your name to be called. There are outdoor tables on a beach stone patio, so do be careful if unsure of foot or if it's wet. My BLT with avocado was tasty, though for the price, it should've had fries (plus, why the heck did they give me packets of ketchup for a BLT, especially since there was mayo on the ciabatta bread) The young lady manning the counter was nice, very friendly and attentive As I added a $10 shake to my order, I did find myself rehashing the Pulp Fiction "$5 milkshake" scene. "$5?" "yes" "and it's just milk and ice cream?" Yea, a decent milkshake, but not a $10 shake With everything served in paper and clamshells, there is nothing fancy, the view is immediately of the road or the parking lot. But you can almost throw one of those patio beach stones into the ocean, you're that close to the sea. Makes me think you're paying for privilege of their near waterfront location See y'all at the crossroads

My favorite: the chicken club wrap with avocado!

I've been coming to Flo's every spring and summer for nearly 20 years. I adore its hometown, beachy vibes and its easy accessibility from Corey Beach. I have many happy memories eating here with friends and family on sunny afternoons. The chicken club wrap (with avocado) and the Great South Bay wrap with fries on the side always hit the spot. When Flo's opens for the season for the first time each year, it's always so exciting. With it comes the sunshine and long summer days. The only nitpick I have is how expensive it's gotten. For two people, two wraps, two drinks, and a side of fries easily costs $50. Because of this, my boyfriend and I try to keep Flo's as a special treat these days, but it's always so good that we (or mostly I) keep coming back for more!

Cheeseburger

Their burgers come on a piece of bread and they charge $15 just for the burger. They call it the world famous burger. Absolutely a joke. Don't bother with this place. keep your slice of bread.

Pear and Brie sandwich
Emily B.

Had a delicious lunch at Flo's the other day. I had their new grilled pear and Brie sandwich and it was so freaking good! The only thing I dont love is that fries are extra and don't come with any of the handhelds. It was delicious as always and the staff was great! I love going to Flo's and sitting at the marina with my lunch or ice cream afterwards.

Hot Lobster Roll
Gail B.

I have been searching for a place that sells tasty lobster rolls--both cold and hot. I did not like the cold one that I recently had at The Lobster Roll aka Lunch, which has won many Bethpage's Long Island Best Lobster Roll contests. So I came to Flo's, who last won this contest in 2014. I bought a hot lobster roll one day and a cold one the next. The hot lobster roll was delicious. The lobster meat was drizzled with butter and placed between a hot and generously buttered, toasted split-top bun. The cold lobster roll, however, was mediocre. It lacked flavor. Both lobster rolls usually come with fries, but instead I got a side salad with some lime-cilantro dressing (the first day) and some balsamic dressing (the next day). The lime-cilantro dressing was good, but the balsamic was mediocre. Effective this year, there is no longer an outside bar. Alcoholic beverages can only be purchased at the window where food orders are taken. No waiters are available, but there are plenty of tables outside where patrons can sit and eat. Parking is free in the large lot across the street for Brookhaven residents with parking permits. Out of town residents must pay a fee at the meter. There is also a small lot on the premises and some free street parking. The nomination period for the 2022 Bethpage's Best of Long Island contest for best lobster roll is now open. Maybe if Flo's makes their cold lobster roll as well as they do their hot one, they would win the contest again!

Connor Bomber Wrap Cajun chicken with Flo's guacamole, French fries, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, signature southwest sauce, and honey m
Steph W.

We drove by on a nice day on the weekend and the parking lot across the restaurant was completely packed for people frequenting Corey Beach. We happen to stop by Flo's on a rainy day and was able to get a spot in their private lot with no problem. Their service is fast and apparently they have a discount if you pay by cash. I ordered the Connor Bomber wrap (cajun chicken, summer salsa, french fries, cheddar cheese, chipotle sauce, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard). It tasted great! It was a hefty cost of $20 (inc tip) using my credit card which is pretty pricey! The price on their website, doordash, and in person menus don't seem to match. I think this place is convenient to grab food if you were spending a day at the beach. Probably would go elsewhere for something better tasting.

On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.

I've been to Main Street Patchogue a few times before and I'm always amazed at how it's now like Huntington, with tons of eateries, bars and places to hear live music. It was a busy late Spring Friday night and my cousin told me if we were there just two weeks later (ie, post Memorial Day), there would have been lines to get in anywhere. So make resos! I made one easily earlier that day and when we arrived around 7:30, it was not packed, but it is pretty loud in there even half full. Our waiter, Jonathan, expertly took such great care of us from start to finish, even taking my father's dad jokes in stride. There's a solid cocktail menu, but I had a couple glasses of a better-than-decent prosecco. My cousin loved his espresso martini. For food, count on a couple respectable vegan entrees and I went with the Japanese eggplant with cashew ricotta. The eggplant is delicious, slightly sweet with a creamy rather than chewy (thank god) texture. The cashew ricotta is also tasty, but I do think it needed to be blended a bit more to remove the slightly grainy texture (the cashews might have needed more soaking). My father loved his French onion soup and pastrami sandwich. Separate paragraph for the fries. They deserve it. I'm glad we ordered these to share- it's an enormous platter of them. I appreciated that they were salted perfectly. I appreciate restaurants that can make satisfy a variety of preferences and dietary restrictions. The vibe here is festive and vibrant and a great choice for groups and families.

Came here on a Saturday night for a private dinner party followed by some drinks at the bar. Off…read morethe get go, customer service was great and offered a coat check free of charge for my jacket and umbrella since it was raining, definitely helped make it feel just a touch more upscale than your usual restaurant. Our wait staff was nothing but kind and patient with our moderately large party and checked up on us without being overbearing. Ambiance is very cool, and definitely leans into its classic and nostalgic feel of its name, but not in a campy way. If you bring a date here, they would be impressed by the nice tile and wooden features alone, but it's the food that is really going to blow them away, but we will get to that next. The menu and cocktails do rotate seasonally a bit, so your experience may vary on availability for some items, but if you come back often enough (and spoiler, you will want to), you'll see them comeback! We started with Caesar salad, calamari, and Korean fried wings with the easy standout being the fried wings, a bit spicy but delicious but buyer beware they are messy (don't worry though, they give you moist towelettes to clean yourself off), calamari was cooked exactly how it needed to be and not rubbery, and the Caesar salad was as good as I've had it anywhere (although there's was made with tahini, giving it a little sesame flair). For mains, we had a pesto pasta, steak frites with an au poivre sauce, with sides of jersey asparagus and mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked just right and I'd dip almost anything in that sauce, and the pesto pasta was a nice lighter and herby balance to the meal. Fries were perfectly crisp shoestring style and the other end of the potato spectrum was the delightfully smooth mashed potatoes and gravy. Asparagus has always been my favorite green, and adding a cream sauce with bacon only makes this version of it that much more enticing. Capping off with dessert, we had the chocolate Basque cheesecake, a brown sugar pie, and a pistachio cake. Choosing a favorite out of these is like choosing a favorite child I'm sure, but I am still craving more of that cheesecake, RUN do not walk to get that at the very least. Parking can be crazy in patchogue, there is a small attached lot and some street parking, but I'd advise using one of the municipal lots nearby and walking a little bit for your own sanity. One of my favorite dining experiences in patchogue to date, and will be happy to comeback here to try more of the menu for any occasion!

Brunch is also a good time to come with a limited menu so you're not overwhelmed with a little of everything on it. I tried the salmon caesear salad which was light with a nice dressing. We also tried the pancakes which were fluffy and delicious, as well as the steak and eggs (can't go wrong). Bottomless mimosas are also offered for $25 additional. I can't wait to do lunch/dinner here in the future.

There's no dedicated parking lot, but there is some decent parking along the side streets nearby that shouldn't give you too much issue.
