Booked the Flo's truck for my baby shower and it was the best decision I made. Working with Connor, the owner, to build a menu was seamless and he is incredibly nice. The workers on the truck were also super nice and friendly. Throughout the party, I was able to host my guests without worrying about setting up food, cleaning up, etc. The truck brought all the paper goods, utensils, and condiments needed for their food. They had menus printed up for us to hand out to guests who then made their way to my driveway to place their order. Everyone raved about how great the food was and what a great idea it was to book a food truck where they could order what they wanted off a pre-set menu. The food was all fresh and tasty with very little grease. I would definitely recommend the Flo's truck for your occasion. 10/10 all around. read more

Everything that you've heard about this place is true and if you haven't heard about it then you need to get there quick!! A very small luncheonette with only outside seating and an outdoor type bar this is a perfect place to come to on a cool fall day or any day. We had the warm lobster roll which is basically just lobster claw meat saturated in butter as well as the bread saturated in butter but they give you tons of meat! It's nice to sit outside (picnic tables) and enjoy the weather, it's like your always on a picnic. Open area in back is set up with corn hole games, really puts you in a picnic mood. Food is nothing special, large selection of beach type foods of burgers, wraps, etc. and even has ice cream if you just want to have after beach treats for the kiddies. Very crowded on weekends with beach crowds , especially if weather is good. Order at front, pickup on side, everything packed in paper sack, ready to go. Food prices are okay, beverage prices are high for what is offered. read more

Love this place and love this location. They just expanded their menu and added a Fall section. This gives a lot more food options which is great. They will be open until November which is exciting. What...in...the...holy...heck!!! Folks. I'm not someone who enjoys eating al fresco because mosquitoes wake up and think of murder and they know people like to eat. Well, I may have a bump or two now but it was well earned. This food is incredible. Oh no, I don't think that you heard me... it was INCREDIBLE. I love the set up. It's like a high end hot dog truck but with a lot more food and drinks. I like how it is a take out but they have tables everywhere to sit. Plus it is pretty much in the water. So you can enjoy amazing food and be by the water. The service is always amazing. I live like 1.5 from here. It's a great place. If you haven't tried I suggest you do that. Good stuff. 26 dollars got us a chicken bacon ranch wrap that was perfectly done, a large order of clam strips, a large order of (not so spicy) spicy waffle fries, an Iced tea (summer blend = fantastic), refilled once for free, and a crab cake sandwich that was out of this world... it takes a while to get your food because it is cooked fresh to order and it is worth it. Flo's is the staple in bluepoint right off Corey beach, and is a must if in the area and in need of a snack. Everything we ordered was good, and everything fresh. It's been a local love for a while and they now have craft on tap with some sangria as well, check it out when in season and go to the new patchogue location all year round, live music and expanded menu. Everything in this review has been sort of outdated, 2017 has brought about some changes, Patchogue location is gone and Floasis on Corey beach has opened. The prices have raised as they do every year, and the kids running the fryer are dipshits. Three times in a row now I've payed over ten bux for dark brown fried garbage. I won't be back for a month minimum. If you want overpriced fried food that brings ya back, swing by. I give them too much of my money but they do have a few things I cannot seem to resist. Their new location down the road in the beach pavilion offers tacos and acai bowls but again, the greed fuels my distaste. I love going to Flo's for a quick bite or to have some dinner with friends. During the summer, they have great ice cream and traditional American-style cuisine. Parking can be a little bit of an issue, so I prefer to avoid it altogether and ride my bike down. The people there are all so nice, and it's a great spot to bring your family on a nice day for an outdoor meal! My personal preference on what to order would be their wraps and burgers- they are the best around. I also love their fried calamari. In fact, all of the seafood at Flo's is really good! Sadly, currently Flo's is closed for the winter at the moment, but they have a second location in Patchogue, which I am really happy about. They too have all of your favorites, along with a nice bar and indoor seating. I know you won't regret stopping by! Update: I visited the Patchogue Main Street location once again recently, and though I had been there times before, I'd forgotten what a nice place it was to eat! They always have such nice burgers, and for Thanksgiving they even had an according burger with stuffing and cranberry sauce! read more

Used to LOVE flos. Literally used to go there once a week/once every other week in the summer months. I was just there today for the first time this summer and WOW their prices are INSANE now. I can't wrap my head around spending $47 on a chicken wrap, a chicken sandwich, one soda, and a "large" side of FF (which was the size of my hand, mind you). Large my a**. I get that it's a staple and people have to make money, right? So up-charge a little... But I mean COME ON! It's a "glorified" snack shack charging the same prices as the food at some restaurants on the water.....and those wraps/sandwiches come with fries or some type of a side. It's crazy. Mind blown by the $6 fountain soda... Food is always good, I just can't wrap my brain around how expensive they've gotten for what feels like nothing extra special. read more

Just went to this cute breakfast destination, and absolutely loved it! What a charming eating experience, complete with an outdoor seating area and shaded tables. The surrounding area was decorated with flowers, giving it a cute summer vibe. Plenty of hand sanitizer sprinkled throughout the area, and it was clear that masks are required! Lovely dining experience, and delicious food! The breakfast sandwiches are outstanding, and the Monte Cristo was absolute perfection. The french toast smelled yummy, and was even tastier! I got two grilled chicken sandwiches BOTH with bacon, both with lettuce, tomato and one had cheese one didn't, there was no distinct flavor between either, and no fries! I went back up to the counter and was told that we didn't order the fries, they could make them but we would have to pay.....I declined. Flo's is awesome. Yes they are pricey for a concession. Tell me what isn't expensive on Long Island. We pay to breathe. I've never been disappointed. Good portions as well. Flo's has been operating from this same location for nearly 100 years. My sisters worked at Flo's in the 1960s and it is a historic landmark in my opinion. It's been through many owners but the theme has remained the same. Snack bar serving the beach crowd as well as serving to the locals who love the place. Food is good and it gets crowded during the weekends in summer. Quaint, "the way it was" as far as looks and atmosphere. I went to Flos today for the first time after a work event at Briarcliffe College. I like this location because they serve beer and wine unlike the Blue Point Location. They have indoor plus outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The menu isn't the healthiest, but it's delicious with a great variety of items to choose from. I had the Great South Gray Wrap! Chicken fingers, bacon, American cheese with southwestern sauce to give it a little kick. Yum! I didn't pay too much attention to the price and brought them home to eat with my girlfriend. They were not what I was used to and after looking at the receipt, they were $38.00 each. $38.00. The menu has a lot to offer and the food is made to order and is good though not cheap. It's a local landmark with outdoor seating that is nice to enjoy lunch or dinner and linger the day away. However if you are on any kind of schedule this is not the place to go. Flo's is very much on "island time" where it seems everyone has all the time in the world. People take their time deciding their order at the window, holding up a line. While staff just watch instead of suggesting the customer step aside until they've decided. I went there today, an employee came to take my order when the phone rang. The conversation was about being open for a few weeks, how hard it is to find staff, etc. the caller just kept talking while the employee mouthed "I'm sorry " to me. I suggested the employee tell the caller "I'm sorry ,but I have a customer." The employee continued to ignore me so I left. Of course the place was pretty much empty on a school day afternoon and one would think every sale would be important, but not this worker. It's not really summertime until you eat at Flo's Luncheonette. Although I'm now in Nassau, visiting brings back memories of my childhood in Bayport. The food is no-frills, but tasty and satisfying. I'll usually get a hot dog or burger, mozzarella sticks and baked clams. Service is fast. It gets pretty busy during the day because of all the beachgoers, we usually go in the evening. I love the atmosphere, being literally up the block from the beach. It's just adorable and I'll continue to return at least a couple times each summer. read more
