This place never lets down, delivery or in person. The food is hot fresh, reasonably priced, great portions. One of my favorite dishes on the lighter side is the Chili with chips. Topped with jalapeños, melting cheese and the thinnest slices onions I have ever seen. They also offer a huge variety condiments that complement a variety of dishes. In particular we their regular fries (not thin, not to thick for those wondering) seasoned to perfection on their own. I got a side of melted pretzel cheese and gravy which just made them 10 star rating. We also got a regular cheeseburger with mushrooms added, cooked to order. With a side of corn nuggets people rave about these. Zero complaints here, definitely a return customer. read more

Note from business mgr saying they don't run the raffle, it's independent fund raiser. In my mind first that was not announced. Second, why did the girl check my ticket and agree that i had the winning numbers. I was the inly one to raise my hand after numbers called. They paid me after verification. Then come back and tell me i didn't win?? I kick myself for not asking to see the allegedly winning ticket. Also, if the raffle was held in your establishment you are responsible that everything is on the up and up. Bottom line, how about offering me a drink at least? read more

I've come to Rudi's a few times. My friend Dave G does Karaoke here on a Thursday night it's currently his latest Thursday night gig. I don't really make the drive too often because I get out of work late and even though I drive far, Patchougue can be a bit much from my job, but I have come a few times. It's an awesome place. They run specials on the food for the time I'm there on a Thursday night and specials are always a good thing. The service is pretty quick. The bartenders are very nice to me always refilling my seltzer pretty fast. It's also a fun atmosphere and karaoke here is great! It's a fairly nice place to hang out. read more

Why doesn't Rudi's get more love? I've never been in person so I can't speak much for that, but I've ordered delivery maybe 5 times this month! Their burgers are YUM and I just ordered for delivery again tonight. A couple of repeat things but some new ones. Can't wait to try the baked clams -- love me a good baked clam -- and the chili and let's see what else. Only thing I wasn't thrilled about were the jalepino poppers and the Philly cheesecake thingies. Can't wait to try the shrimp taco, I wanted to order the lobster bisque but maybe next time. Very disappointed with my first attempt to try this place. Went last night with a group of friends , was asked to move our table by the door because a band was going to perform, Fine, but there was other tables that were in the way, but we were the only table that had to be moved.. Waited an hour for service as the waitresses walked by a million times.. I would of left because of the looks and disrespect but had a friend there from out of town , stayed for him.. Rudi's Bar and Grill continues to be one of my favorite places to go for a beer, meal, and to see a game. There are food and drink specials every day. Happy Hour specials are also very good with drink specials. I tried the new Shrimp and scallop wrap. It is very good. The French fries are seasoned and nice and crisp, and worth the extra calories. The Caesar salad is very good, coming with plenty of olives, tomatoes, cheese, peppers, it is not just a plate of lettuce. The chicken wing orders are very good with Sunday having a 75 cent / wing special. There are twenty different sauces to choose from, so it would be very difficult not to find a sauce to your liking. There is no bad seating, with televisions and sports on in virtually every direction. I have previously had the beef hamburgers and the two types of chicken burgers. All are very good and well prepared. Just pick whatever appeals to you, and you will not be disappointed. A burger and beer special is available during the day, 11AM to 5PM, on Monday through Saturday. The selection of beers, including a rotating selection of craft beers from a variety of New York State and some out of state breweries as well as local breweries makes good reason for returning. Just ask to see the beer menu. Service is best at the bar with the bartender often also tending to the tables. Any delays that may cause is simply alleviated by planning ahead and ordering ahead or everything at once to avoid delays. Enjoy an afternoon or night out. read more

If I wanted parmesan, I would've asked for parmesan! My husband and I were looking forward to eating out at another restaurant until it closed due to the snowstorm, so we figured we'd find a restaurant that's open and eat there. Rudi's it is! Unfortunately, it was way to crowded for our liking, so we opted for take out. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer. WHY, JUST WHY, did they throw Parmesan on it?!?! I am a picky eater to begin with. At least ask if that's what we wanted so I could've said no?? Also, the squid felt like straw. It was beyond weird and not good. My husband enjoyed his burger but once again, parmesan on my fries when I ordered chicken fingers and fries. Not sure why this has happened as I've ate here in the past and never had this issue. I was looking for some comfort food and got take out from Rudi's, which was my first time eating there. I ordered at about 2am. I was a little worried about getting food that late but to my surprise everything was delicious! The pretzel was the best I have ever had from a restaurant. It came with beer battered cheese, which was perfection. I also got the buffalo chicken rolls, and the pierogies that were perfectly cooked with onions. And of course, I had to finish off by trying the Reese's cake which came with chocolate sauce on the side and was absolutely mouthwatering. If you can't tell, I absolutely loved it. And not to mention when I called to order, the girl was extremely sweet and helpful And when I went to pick up, everybody was very nice. I will certainly be going back there, and I recommend it to everyone they have so many different things that I still want to try! read more

This is a bar & grill that was busy even on a random Wednesday night. Reasonably priced and the apps and burgers were very tasty. My family had mozzarella sticks and broccoli bacon bites, which were mouthwatering delicious. My Yogi Berra burger (with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce) was very good and cooked perfectly to my preference (medium). My only criticism is the fact some of the seating is folding tables and folding chairs. Calling to reserve a table is highly recommended. read more

Pros: The waitress was very nice and the food and drinks were solid, better than we expected. We particularly enjoyed the hot pretzel braids and mozzarella sticks. The lemonade is also very good. There are a lot of specials throughout the week, wings, tacos, drinks, etc. They have a pretty big menu especially for their appetizers. Cons: This place was severely understaffed. We had to seat ourselves. There was only one woman working the bar and tables during peak lunch hour. My BLT came without mayonnaise and I wish I had known this beforehand so I could have requested it. We were given paper plates with silverware which was an interesting match. I think our experience would have been better if everything was more consistent. read more

I had the pleasure of going to Rudi's for the first time. It was a morning business meeting and I was pleasantly surprised at the establishment. The restaurant was clean and well lit. Truth be told, only reason we ventured into Rudi's was due to the generous Groupon gift we received for the holidays. Loss of a star for a couple reasons... seems like the place was a little understaffed and getting someone to serve us in a timely manner posed a challenge. The place was hopping and only 2 young ladies be-bopping between the floor and working the bar. A true sports bar with ample televisions and a little something to appeal to everyone. A nice beer menu; bottles n taps. Was recommended the "Guinness Blonde" and wow! So good, had two pints. If you are looking for a watering hole that has a full bar, nice selection of suds and some pretty tasty pub fare, then look no further than Rudi's. read more

Messed up my order then tried telling me I ordered the wrong burger. I've never ordered any thing with chille cheese on it in my life and today wasn't going to be my first day. Was given an attitude when they took it back. Took 45 minutes to get a burger with Swiss and mushrooms. They added some disgusting onions on top as a well as a tomato that was bigger then the meat patty itself. Had two beers when bartender asked if I wanted anything else I said I'll take the check please. She brought over a third beer. I didn't even entertain saying I didn't order that. Born and raised in the area & I've always heard about the famous Rudi's but never came in until recently. I will admit I was very skeptical and didn't expect to stay past a beer. But after walking in and hearing some great live 80's & 90's rock I got pulled into the black hole. Spent a few hours at the bar and got some food as well. Came on a Friday night. Boneless Wings: 5/5, I was honestly shocked at how good these were. I love boneless wings and get them all the time..but these were hands down some of the best I've ever had. I couldn't believe it since I was expecting just more of the same frozen crap served at many other establishments. The service was good, the bartenders were very observant and on top of the taps, the music was great (The band was "The Vibe" I think) and the overall atmosphere was pretty welcoming for what I had assumed would be a "music stops and everyone stares at you when you walk in" type place. But this was far from it. I no longer feel the need to go to patchogue to have a good time. I shall return soon. read more

This place has some delicious wings!! First time I was introduced to them was when my sister brought them to our family superbowl party. Best wings I've ever tasted hands down! Came here recently to celebrate a friend's birthday. Place is your typical dive bar scene: loud music, games and a boxing bag? Definitely not my scene. Odd addition to this place but okay I get it, it's eclectic. The waitresses were very efficient and fast. They pissed me off a bit though with the burger I ordered. I got takeout from Rudy's for the first time today got a Della Reese burger and some tequila lime wings,... Burger was good but still doesn't have that charbroil flavor I'm looking for and was cooked perfectly since I ordered it rare it was a nice medium rare by time I got it home to eat it! The wings smelled delicious as I was driving home and I couldn't wait to try them but I was disappointed to see that it was all drumsticks and no flat pieces which is my favorite and there was a breading on them which I wasn't expecting! Drove 45 minutes to get to this bar/restaurant just to be told that they don't accept Groupon for dine in service, even though it clearly says it does in the Groupon app. Spoke with the manager, but he wasn't willing To do anything about it. Just told me it was Groupon's fault and washed his hands of the problem. Didn't seem to bother him greatly. Can't get a full refund for this, and it ruined my precious time out with my wife. Sorry, but that is not acceptable. Fix your problems with Groupon, and don't punish the customer. I cannot recommend trying this place based on the lack of service received. read more

A neighborhood gem would be an understatement because this local bar attracts a crowd from all over. The outside view screams dive bar but the inside screams "I never want to leave!" Where to start? The menu has tons of options, none of which you can go wrong with, seriously burgers, wings, and tacos are all amazing. There are a ton of TVs and there's always sports on, but if you don't like sports, you probably are a terrible person but there are 2 pool tables, 2 dart boards and a jukebox. Mike and his staff are attentive and friendly, plus they do so much for the community. I have been to Rudi's for multiple charity events, that's actually how I stumbled across this place a few years back. I love Rudi's and think everyone should give them a shot!!!! FYI the burger in my picture is dedicated to a local 16 year old who passed away, each burger sold a donation is made to childhood cancer research. read more

We ordered Rudi's for delivery through door dash. We got an order of Rudi's traditional style wings which came with blue cheese dressing on the side. The Rudi's sauce was good, the perfect mixture of spicy and sweet. We also got a Mediterranean wrap, which we had the choice of getting as whole wheat or regular. The wrap consisted of spinach, chicken, feta cheese, tomato and Italian dressing. The ingredients all tasted super fresh and the wrap as a whole was delicious. The wrap came with fries too which were slightly soggy but I'll assume that's because they sat too long for delivery, I believe if we were eating at the restaurant itself the fries would've been perfect. Would definitely consider ordering from them again for take out or even visiting the restaurant itself read more
