One word to describe this restaurant...... TERRIBLE!!! The staff is the worst part or this establishment ! The host needs to be replaced was very rude and was not inviting at all wait 15 min before even being spoken to upon entering the place and just completely didn't know what she was doing as a host! Our server was very impatient the whole time and did not check on our table at all besides taking it order and providing the check! The food could've been better wasn't all bad but definitely lacked seasoning and seemed to be reheated or as if it set under a heat lamp for a period of time biscuits are very dry water wouldn't even help you with that issue overall I would definitely try somewhere else! read more

Wait staff is kept busy, but remain both friendly and attentive. The environment is loud because the place is filled with people enjoying food, drink, and conversation. They have some unique items such as the Alves French toast, which is stuffed with peanut butter and banana. Our son said it was really good. We sat outside so we can people watch. They also have this guy performing a song which is pretty cool because he was actually a good singer. Anyway the hostess had us seat outside. The table was not clean there were still some leftover food on table from the previous diners. It took 15mins before our server noticed us. She did apologize Jacky is her name. The food was very delicious. I highly recommend the banana bread French toast and the big chicken biscuit. IMO $9 for that size of Mimosa was a bit overpriced. My daughter had eggs, pancakes, and fruit (not pictured). The pancakes and fruit were great. The eggs were extremely moist. If that's how you like your eggs then they're perfect for you, we just aren't a big fan of that. The atmosphere was great and so were the employees. I will definitely be back. read more

Was not told they charge a to go fee(so I ended up tipping on top of the to go charge) and their prices online are not the same. It was located across from our hotel and looked inviting but the food was not prepared well at all. The home fries(up-charge from grits) were over cooked, my wife asked for over medium eggs and laughed when she saw they were overcooked brown and crispy. IT was seat yourself and they had outdoor seating as well. We were promptly greeted by a server and she was happy to answer questions and make suggestions. I ordered the banana bread french toast, little bit ordered a waffle and sausage, and hubs ordered a waffle and eggs. What makes this a 4 for me is the service and the location. I absolutely loved my french toast- was just crispy on the outside and full of flavor. It came with more chopped bananas and pecans. The waffles were just normal nothing special- but were good. Lulu's has an amazing breakfast. We were here twice on our vacation, both times for breakfast and the food was delicious. Liz was our waitress and she was very attentive and friendly, she remembered us on our second visit and even bought our daughter a hot chocolate My wife and I had the chicken biscuit on our first visit and it was incredible YUM!! I guess I'm not understanding the hype. We saw 4 stars on Yelp & trusted it but man, no...My husband and I went for 2 trusty dishes to share: biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles. The biscuit (not plural). Was 1 biscuit cut in half, with gravy that tasted like it could have been out of a can. Super disappointing. Then the chicken and waffle was good but nothing to write home about. Sadly we were disappointed. We thought we were coming to a local go-to. Came with a group of friends and it is "seat yourself" for busy weekend brunch, so we awkwardly hovered over a table til they were done to claim it. Food took over 30 mins to come out, and when it did come out, we were informed they were out of home fries, so we got fruit instead without asking if we wanted any of the other options...Sad. I had the Charleston Benedict which had nice flavors, but the "poached" eggs were more like hard boiled!
