I'm not sure why this place has such good reviews. The service is devastatingly slow, and the food is a notch below mediocre. Came with a group of friends and it is "seat yourself" for busy weekend brunch, so we awkwardly hovered over a table til they were done to claim it. Food took over 30 mins to come out, and when it did come out, we were informed they were out of home fries, so we got fruit instead without asking if we wanted any of the other options...Sad. I had the Charleston Benedict which had nice flavors, but the "poached" eggs were more like hard boiled! (My friend who got Benedict also had overdone eggs) Prices are good, but save yourself the ordeal and find another breakfast place to enjoy. read more

We visited this place for breakfast and it's fairly decent. I got the Charleston which is eggs Benedict with the addition of a crab cake. It was good and they gave me a decent portion size; however the home fries were room temp and slightly chewy as if they had been sitting around for a while. The coffee was also quite bitter for my taste (I always drink it black). With all that said, I did still decide to give them 4 stars because the setting is quite nice (we sat on the patio) and the server was very friendly. All in all, it's a nice little breakfast joint. read more

The good-queue place, convenient location with on site parking, several Mimosa options. Grits were yummy and creamy. The bad- steak and eggs was poor quality meat with a lot of gristle, over cooked, not worth the value. BLT was adequate but nothing special. 3 people sent there orders back not sure what the concerns were but thought that was a bit odd to see in a 40 minute visit. read more

We were walking down North Ocean Blvd looking for some lunch. We noticed there wasn't a long line here like most mornings so we decided to give it a try. The hostess stand is outside. She was very friendly and showed us to a table inside. The inside is like a little comfortable diner. I loved the atmosphere. Our server was just as friendly as the hostess and provided great service. I was in a fish mood so I got the fish n chips. It was delicious. My husband got the banana bread French toast. It looked amazing. He said it tasted as amazing as it looked. If you want to grab breakfast here I suggest you go as early as possible. That was when the wait was the longest. read more

If you're looking for a bomb breakfast or lunch, you need to come to Lulu's. The chicken tenders were pretty amazing. The selection of alcoholic beverages are pretty phenomenal, as well. The pear-fect mimosa is AMAZING. If you really play your cards right, maybe you'll get the best server in this town (Sean T). He is very quick, knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. Definitely 10/10 recommend requesting him! read more

Came after rave reviews from a friend and fairly yelp rating. Service was great and we loved sitting outside with an ocean view. The portions were huge and way too much to eat. I should have shared a meal with my husband. The chicken biscuit was good but chicken was a little dry. My one big complaint is it says they have parking. There are only a handful of spaces. When we arrived it wasn't busy (10:50) on a Thursday) and no place to park. We ended up paying $1.70 to park. read more

We liked it so much, we came back 2 days later! Yummy, yummy breakfast place with matching delicious drinks! It's located 5 min walk from out hotel, Ocean 22 by Hilton. Very cute indoor space with windows looking out to Anderson Park and a view of the water. Sunday, they had a great singer there, but it was packed and we had to sit outside, which was fine too. I ordered the Elvis french toast and banana bread french toast. The Elvis one was my fave, but both were good. Had the adult milk chocolate both days- highly recommend. I had 5 between the 2 days. There is something for everyone here! Atmosphere was great, not too loud or crowded, very family friendly with a large menu with several options that are gluten free! Best gluten free service I've ever received, manager came over and took my order as well as brought out the meal to ensure safety. A must for breakfast when you're in town!! The menu is original with great renditions of classics. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. When I'm in town for a quick business visit I always am disappointed if I can't squeeze Lulu's in for a late breakfast... Its a kick myself and think "why didn't I wake up earlier before my flight?" kinda regret!!! The place reminds me of being in Cali for some reason... not sure why. Convenient location but ok food for a high price. We tried eggs Benedict, Philly scrambled egg, French toast and southwest breakfast. All of them cost around $15-$16 plus $1.25 for substituting grits to home fries which I thought was unnecessary for the serving amount and cold potatoes. Coffee was watery. read more

We went to Lulu's our first day of our stay in Myrtle Beach and it was just ok. The service was great- and it was probably the best part of the experience. The food just felt like it was lacking love. My sons pancakes seemed cakey, and the breakfast my husband ordered seemed "rushed". I ordered a grilled cheese- it was good- but pretty hard to mess that up. The fruit seemed like it was stale- and overall I just wanted the experience to be better. I love supporting independent restaurants and hope that we can come back and try Lulus again. Maybe it was an off day? read more

Excellent service, excellent food and live music! What more can you ask for? We had a great experience from start to finish. The waitlist feature got us on the waitlist when we left the hotel. I'd really go 3.5 stars on this...Great spot to check out in Myrtle Beach for breakfast. Their breaksfast sandwich was delicious and I could eat that every morning. My husband's eggs were very overcooked, as well as his sausage, so he definitely had plate envy with mine. Their drinks aren't necessarily worth their price, but overall, it is a great little breakfast joint right off the beach. Go for the breakfast sandwich and you won't be disappointed! Also, if you check in there on Yelp, you get a free t-shirt with certain price purchase, so that's a bonus! read more

Last day at the beach, we thought we would fuel up before we headed out. If you've kept up with my reviews, you would know that I love coffee. I should rephrase, I love GOOD coffee... I would avoid this coffee at all cost. It was horrible. It tasted like watered down, burnt, folgers. ICK! The sip that we all had, turned all our stomachs upside down. Other than that the food was fine. Pancakes were thick, biscuits were fluffy. Nothing great, nothing bad. Just stick to juice or water. read more

I came in because of a picture I saw on their Yelp. I asked what it was and was told the biscuit sandwich. It didn't look like a sandwich in the picture as it was smothered in gravy and took up an entire plate, but I said ok because the Server insisted that's what it was. It came out on a tiny plate looking nothing like the picture, with no gravy and apparently when the menu says cheese, they mean American........ And I had to pay extra for the gravy. Nice place, but I won't be back. read more

Chicken and waffles were alright; expected more. Grits had no flavor to them; had to add plenty of salt, pepper, and hot sauce to enjoy them. Eggs Benedict was great. The biscuits and gravy also were tasty. Overall a fine experience read more

Yeah this was a huge disappointment. They are truly capitalizing on location and putting no effort into quality of food. I was really disgusted when the staff took a dripping, sopping wet towel and slathered the wooden table with it before asking us to have a seat. There were puddles of water on the table and I had to ask for it to be wiped off. I get they can't do much about the flies, as we were seated outside, but you would think they would want to try to give some appearance of cleanliness. The kicker was when the scrambled eggs came and there were raw places in them. Not runny. Raw. Been here. Done this. They'll never see me again. read more

We ordered breakfast from here this morning. We ordered the Mexican scramble, pancakes, and 2 eggs over hard. The Mexican scramble was pretty good, but I did not like the fried tortilla it was served on. I scrambled everything together and loaded into a tortilla (i had ordered a tortilla on the side), and that was much better. My friend did not love her eggs because one was still runny. The pancakes were good. This was a good quick stop, and the decor was cute. We really enjoyed the live music, so I would visit again for the music! read more

Does not allow dogs even on the patio. They did finally allow off the bar area where they told us we would be "isolated" We were a group of 8 with little kids it and it was difficult to eat lunch it high top Adirondack chairs. Food was ok, margaritas were great. read more

Service was prompt and professional, the Bloody Mary was fantastic. I ordered the southern and it was full of flavor, I added a few drops of Texas Pete which made it even better. The misses for two pancakes, home fries and fruit cup. The pancakes had an odd after taste which is the only reason for a 4 star review. read more

Absolutely delicious! Between my husband and I, we had the oysters, shrimp, and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious, including the hurricanes. Prices were a little high, even for a touristy beach-side restaurant, but we'd go again. read more

We had no idea that this was a bottomless refill, but I don't know how anyone orders more than one extra entree because the portions are huge and quite filling. We were lucky to get a table close to the window so we could have a nice view. All of the workers were courteous & kind. If you are super hungry & have a larger party, you have to come here at least once, while visiting Broadway at the Beach. Crazy as that sounds, it was always fun because we had such great conversations with people from all over the country while waiting. So I can say without any reservation that we would have never returned if the food we had today was being served back then. Paula Deen's fried chicken once upon a time was EPIC. Our food experience tasted like an entirely different restaurant recipe and to top it off the chicken was overcooked and dry, something we never experienced at Lady & Sons. After sharing our disappointment with management, our bill was cancelled (except for my cocktail) and we left, likely never to return. What a disappointing end to a fabulous food era, because the food at Lady and Son's was one of our families favorite reasons to vacation near Savannah. It was almost always the first meals of our vacation, but the food we were served on this most recent visit to Myrtle Beach they can keep. On a brighter note, the restaurant interior is beautiful and the location is fantastic. The staff were friendly and our server pretty much brought out the entire menu trying to satisfy us. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it!
