Of the food vendors in the mall - this is the spot. The burgers, shakes and fries are tasty. Service is well interesting. Lots of employees that seem more focused on talking amongst themselves than helping the customers or working quickly. Once you get your order in, be prepared to wait 15 minutes or more for your food. No onions, the burger was more medium well to well done, too much Lucy sauce which made the bottom bun soggy and 5 greasy onion rings with a funky tasting batter! The burger patty itself lacked seasoning and had a greasy fried taste. When I picked up my order and asked for a side of ranch, I was told that that would be $.50! Give me a break! I have mixed feelings about this place. The Juicy Lucy was cooked really well. Most burger patties, good about of cheese and fresh veggies, but the meat was lacking seasoning. It tasted very plain. So, everything abt this burger place should bring it up to at least a 4 star review: clean, bright, friendly, efficient, a number of good choices on the menu (that flits by a bit fast on their digital display ) and a total gem of a lovely young lady named Delaney who shows all signs of being a fantastic human being! She got our orders right, was so responsive to all requests, great smile, seems genuinely kind. All the stuff I asked for, I got and all of my fixins tasted great, but the burger was just a bit bland. Which was odd because it wasn't dry, was perfectly cooked to my requested medium rare, texture was ideal but just lacked flavor, seasoning, something. By fries tho were perfect! And my Butterfinger shake was so good (paid 50c for the cup of water+ ice; worth it in my opinion) So definitely give them a try read more

There are definitely pros and cons to this place and I think they could be perfectly capable of earning at least another star from me with one fix. First, the pros: The Lucy burger is FANTASTIC. It was very well cooked and the sauce was delish. The green chili burger was also SO GOOD. It's hard to get a good green chili burger with flavor and a little heat and they did it. The onion rings were tasty too. The cons: Entirely too expensive for what it is. Especially for the kids meals. Our oldest is 9 and ordered the kids dino nuggets- I don't have high culinary expectations here but the portion was laughable. Like 4 tiny nuggets and a little scoop of fries. I'd say toddler/preschool portions at best. The kids burger (ordered for our 6 year old) was teeny tiny too, more of a slider- that should be what it's called on the menu. The fries all around weren't terrific either. We also kind of just got unlucky with this one, but the lemonade we ordered for the kids must have just started running out on our order because it was just water with maybe a hint of lemonade. Now, the fix: I think with either upping the portion size or lowering the cost of the kids meals I'd easily give another star. I really wanted to like this place more because it is so close to us but I would only ever go for the burger. read more

Been here three times now and I feel I can cast my vote. This place looks fun but it's just ok. 1st visit was a chili dog; good size dog (like sam's club) but chili was very bland. 2nd visit was a pastrami n swiss; it was huge and toasted nicely but the pastrami is top bottom round, not brisket style. So it lacked what pastrami should be. 3rd, today, was a basic cheeseburger; asked for med cook but tasted burnt. Mostly bread and veggies; patty was a little thin. We had fries and fries with cheese and green chilis. That's the way to go! Make sure and get Roy's Lemonade too. Burgers are cooked to order and service was friendly. Great place to stop when passing through or if staying in town. Great thing is that prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to try it again! The onion rings are very very good let's start with that. Now for the more average...the online ordering does not let you select well done as a burger option. If I am paying I should get it how I like it. I specified no lettuce but got it anyway. The fries were grainy and inconsistent. Some were perfectly done, others were not completely done. Got the green chile cheeseburger based on all the reviews. It was mediocre at best. The green chile was super mild and didn't add anything to the burger. The sides are expensive and so is the drink. We were at the mall and wanted to eat something so we stopped at Lucy's burgers. This is like a homestyle burger nice and thick and juicy. They will Cook it for you the way you like it. We asked for ours to be cut in half so we could share it. We got french fries with that and the french fries were homestyle french fries also probably three-eighth inch cut. The staff is very friendly and they made ordering a breeze. The staff is what makes this place so good. The Classic burgers were good. They were cooked just as we ordered. One of well done and one was medium well. They did leave the onion off the med well burger and it was supposed to be off the well done burger. It was easy to tell the burger that was well.
