Pad Thai was amazing and so was the black pepper chicken and they have Thai iced tea!!!

Hands down best pad thai! I love everything here! Just wish they delivered! The staff is allays nice but you better get there early bc the secret is out and they get busy! Just tried their soups and Pho recently and they're perfect for winter weather (but I imagine delicious year round as well!) read more

Would have gladly given 5 stars as the food (pho) was fabulous however the service was horrible. We waited a while for a server after we were seated. We waited twice as long as usual to receive our order of two bowls of pho. We never received our bill so we went to the counter and again waited for the owner to check us out. He asked how everything was and we stated the service was lousy. He smiled..... We could almost understand the wait times if the restaurant had been full but there were only a couple of tables and all the while four servers and the owner were walking around in disarray. Again great food, lousy service. read more

Seafood combo we very good, also the summer roll with the peanut sauce fantastic, good service and atmosphere for lunch or dinner

Absolutely wonderful every time I go in. I cannot say enough about this wonderful restaurant. The staff is wonderful especially LK he is attentive and suggestions are always on point. read more

Called to order carry out. The girl who answered the phone sounded inexperienced. When I went to pick up my order the waiting area was overcrowded. I didn't know if I was to pick up my carryout at front or at the back bar area where I saw carryout orders sitting? I went to the back area, waited patiently while several staff members walked past me, stood in front of me. Not one asked me if I needed help. The girl who was at front came to the back I asked where do I pick up my carryout? She asked my name? Not the most friendly. Overwhelmed and too busy to make it a positive experience. The food was good. The chicken fried rice seemed to be a smaller portion than what it normally is. I hope that work on a more friendly vibe. read more

This is my favorite place. Everything they have on their menu is just amazing. I just had the Chilean sea bass it was fabulous

The food and the prices are unbeatable. The food is always good. The menu is so big and full of so many delicious choices. I have never had a bad meal here. The service is friendly but be prepared for a significant wait on the weekends as this is a popular restaurant in Friday's and Saturdays. read more

I just wasn't impressed. And I know I wasn't impressed because I can't remember what I ate and I love Thai food. 'Nuff said. Maybe it was because it was a Monday and I know Mondays are slack days at my restaurant but it seemed like stuff seemed to be missing from our takeout order, garnishes, etc. So...meh. read more

Go to market street not west view. 40 minutes for soup so far at west view location. Half of appetizer was cold somehow. Must have had a crispy spring roll laying around waiting for a mate. read more

The hands down best Vietnamese this side of Hanoi. Delicious fresh food and the owner is sweet and professional. Love this place!!!!

Great Vietnamese food. Nicer interior than the one on Market but the food is the same great menu and quality. I always get the lemongrass pork or the Vietnamese crepe. Both are so good that I have only tried other entrees on the menu when others have ordered them. read more

My husband and I came here for dinner as it was within walking distance of our hotel and I am so glad we did! There was a little wait (maybe 10 minutes)before we got seated. I ordered the Tom Yum soup and Oh. My. Gosh. That was probably one of the most delicious soups I've had in a long time. My husband got the Beef on the Corner and a side of fried rice. The portions were large but all very delicious. The decor was nice and since we came for dinner on a Friday night it was busy and a little loud but not terribly so. Overall it was a great experience! read more

Thought we'd give the new expansion another try. Unfortunately, the pho is still overly salty (too much MSG). Not sure what's going on since the original restaurant gets it right. The service and decor is nice but the taste is off. Back to the original. read more

Last few times we ordered Pho carry out from their 2 locations the portions provided were not adequate for the price paid. The meals contained very little meat for a large portion compared what you get when eating at the restaurant. Will say food is good but very disappointed with the portion. read more

Great food. I agree with reviews that say timing is awful. I was warned my take away order would take 45 minutes when it actually ended up taking 85 minutes. It's worth the wait, just don't go in thinking they will be punctual. Food is five stars, deducted one star bc of the extra 20 minute wait. read more

Very good dinner experience! The Tom Yum soup was delicious and the Shrimp with Eggplant had a great mix of spicy curry with a hint of sweetness. Highly recommend and they have nightly drink specials as well. read more

Food is amazing!! But you can't come here if you are in a hurry ... consistently slow service every time I've been here same speed when the restaurant is packed or dead read more

Love this place! Best Vietnamese food in frederick hands down!!! We love the pad Thai and the grilled beef rolls. Sometimes there can be a decent wait to get in, so pro tip is to just head to the back and seat yourself at the bar. read more

Good food, authentic to the last bite. If you're looking for an unforgettable Asian cuisine experience this is the place to go. Service is great, too. Definitely one of the restaurants to go to when in Frederick, MD. Kudos to the wonderful staff. read more

Reading all these reviews I thought this place would be fantastic but it was just a bad experience over all. The food was not good it was nothing near authentic and doesn't even have half of the authentic Vietnamese dishes I expected to see. Now I'm always willing to give someone a second chance when it comes to food we all have moments. The service was just bad the table next to ours waited 30 mins for just some water and we waited about the same. I gave this place 2 stars for hope for a better meal next time and better service..... as if I would actually want to come back. read more

Love me some Lucky Corner! So fresh, so many delightful choices. Each dish I've tried immediately becomes my favorite and each time I go I struggle with which one to choose. I have tried almost each dish and cannot say that any one has disappointed. Sweet little restaurant, cozy feel and wonderful staff. If you like well priced, delicious and nicely prepared food, treat yourself to Lucky Corner read more

The wait staff is awesome and friendly! The food was so good and filling! One of our favorites!

not bad. I had the pho while here and I wasn't that impressed with it. food is just ok, it's nice that I can get some pho without driving too far though. Service is friendly. read more

Normally, I don't write many reviews but our recent experience here necessitates one. My husband, daughter & I arrived at Lucky Corner around 2:30 Sunday afternoon. This was after the lunch rush, so it should not have been difficult to serve us. Only two other tables were occupied and one couple coming in the door behind us. I was wrong. Although the hostess seated us quickly, no one stopped by our table to offer us drinks or an appetizer. It looked like all of the waitstaff was having a meeting and couldn't be bothered. I told my husband my drink choice and excused myself to use the ladies room. When I got back to our table, we still didn't have drinks! Finally after about a fifteen minute wait, a waiter finally arrived and apologized for the delay in service. He took our order. We thought this would help speed things up, but again I was wrong. After 10 more minutes, we still didn't have our drinks. The order? Two iced teas and a water! The couple who came in after us already had drinks and an appetizer! At this point my husband & I were pretty frustrated. We actually got up and walked out. The hostess apologized as we were leaving. It was such a disappointing experience. The food here is wonderful but the service is sub par. The next time we are craving Lucky Corner, we will go to their downtown location where the service is better. read more

It's really good pho. The fried rice was excellent too. Would've loved a lunch special price for the pho since they have lunch special prices for other dishes, but oh well. read more

The food is good however the service is a bit slow. If they would only improve on the service. Food tastes better when service is good.

We eat here regularly. the food is great! However, I was disappointed to find out they water down the cosmopolitans. they don't use the correct ingredients. Not sure if they water down other drinks but won't order drinks here anymore. read more

We went to Lucky Corner's new location for the first time. Lovely, comfortable chairs and lots more room. We were celebrating my son's engagement so we called ahead of time to make a reservation. I requested they bring out a special dessert at the end of our meal to mark the occasion which they forgot to do. The service was very poor and my son asked for a cocktail three times before it was brought to us. The waitress was mostly unavailable and we waited a very long time for our food. My pho soup once it was brought to the table was not hot...warm at best. The rest of the entrees were very good however. The downtown location has always given excellent service so we were surprised to find the new location so lacking in service. We will give it another try but not on a weekend. read more

Just went there. Asked to have certain food left out of dishes for dietary concerns. The waiter still brought the dish with ingredient asked to be removed. The food was okay and nothing special. The service. was the worst. Asian food took an hour to come out and the waiter disappeared a few times. I would not recommend this place nor would I return. read more

Delightful space, servers, and spices. So delicious! Great vegetarian options, too. Yumz!

The best Vietnamese restaurant in town. Food is amazing EVERY TIME and desserts are to die for!

Stopped in after becoming annoyed at the local diner and glad we did. Food was great. We started with the crispy squid as a starter and it was awesome. Our entries were very good and fresh. read more

My husband and I have eaten at Lucky Corner in downtown Frederick for years. We really enjoyed it. However, for this new restaurant location, we have tried it twice, and it has been hit or missed in the past when we have eaten. This last time we ate there it was pretty bad. I ordered the veggie hot pot and it was served with rice in the pot and the sauce was salty and way too peppery. I have had other hot pot dishes before and never had rice served in the pot, but while this was annoying it isn't why I give this restaurant a bad rating. The service was what was truly bad. It was very slow service, and no one really came to check on us after we got our food. When we finally managed to flag down our server, he got very defensive when I complained about my food. I was just saying that sorry, I couldn't eat it. It's too spicy. He became very defensive. He put his hands on the table then told me that if I didn't know the menu, I should have asked him about it before I ordered it. OMG! I wouldn't even think he would act like this to a customer. I wouldn't think to ask if they served this dish differently than any other time I had eaten it, nor would I think to ask if it is served too salty or with way too much pepper. Needless to say, we won't be giving this restaurant another chance. read more

Everything is so good and fresh. Love the grilled shrimp rolls. My husband loves all the soups but I prefer the pork and vermicelli or black pepper shrimp and scallops . Don't pass up dessert. The coconut sorbet has me wanting more. read more

Food flavor has been good and consistent, service delivery time and customer attention needs improvement. Good atmosphere but if they want to make it long term management will need to do some soul searching and focused training. read more

Big fan of the Market Street Lucky Corner and this location has the same great food and fancier setting. I love the Black Pepper Shrimp and Scallops. The Chicken Chili Lemongrass is a big favorite in my house too. Great service too! read more

I'm sure the food is great, but we wouldn't know. The check in process was such a disaster that we left before being seated. Waited around while we thought our name was on the list only to find out that the hostesses never wrote our names down... read more
