This is my 4th and last time here. The first time we tried it, it was good, no complaints. Second time we came back, it already went downwards. Third time, no good again and said we wouldn't come back. Today we came back because we were in the area and we were hoping it got better. I got the bun rieu and my family got pho. Every time we eat here...1) the portions are skimpy, 2) they really don't care about the quality of their food 3) we are always still hungry after we eat here. I'll post a pic of the bun rieu I got, it was barely a bun rieu. It was like a hu tieu with annatto oil. They put these mushrooms in it, then two shrimp balls, 2 shrimps, 1 barely small pork rib knob, and tofu. If you know Vietnamese food you know this isn't considered bun rieu, $16... I don't get it. I feel bad for the people that order this food and think it's Vietnamese food. Another reason why we won't be returning is because the owner was ripping into his employee right in front of patrons. The way he was talking to his employee was super disrespectful and should've been done in private or at least lower your voice. I would say the conversation lasted almost our whole dining experience. That was the last straw for us. If you're trying to teach life lessons or trying to better your employee, handle it better. The way you treat your people shows how you handle your business which is...poorly. Btw the toilet in the bathroom makes no sense. It's a square toilet and not friendly for women customers. It's the dumbest toilet I've ever seen. I'm honestly just more upset for the employee. he was super nice when taking our order. And has always been kind the times we went there. read more

The best pho' in the area in my opinion. The broth is so flavorful. Rich yet clear and not oily like some places. I could have just drank the broth straight by itself ! Perfect amount of toppings. Great service. Very cute and super clean inside. Easy parking. Will definitely be going back again and again and again ! We had our hopes up with this pho restaurant given the ambiance and friendly service. Unfortunately, the pho and garnishes were quite the letdown! Like other reviews, the meat and veggie toppings were definitely sparse. I will say, they did offer a good portion of noodles but the broth lacked all the pho aromatics like star anise, clove, charred onion, etc. We ordered the treehugger pho ($16) with some white chicken breast ($4) and a custom pho with a variety of beef cuts. The fried tofu in the veggie pho, unfortunately, had an old oil aftertaste and the chicken and beef in our phos did not taste fresh. We asked for extra green onion and cilantro and were surprised when they brought out old wilted cilantro stems and unappealing chopped green onions. The bean sprouts and basil also appeared days old and definitely not fresh either. Fresh produce and ingredients should be a baseline in Vietnamese cuisine. I do find Pho and More's price point unreasonably expensive for the quality and ingredients. I'm not sure why the 'Treehugger' pho ($16) is the same price as 'The Works' Dac Biet pho. I can't believe at the end of the day, I spent $20 on my underwhelming veggie and chicken pho. The crispy spring rolls, I admit were the highlight of the meal and customer service was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant revisit their pricing, quality of ingredients, and stop by the Eden Center in Falls Church, Va to rediscover Vietnamese authentic cuisine. read more

I always come here for pho it's the best there is here in frederick, i've tried other phos around here and it didn't compare to this one. the chicken skewers is also amazing tastes really tender will be coming back to try other things that they have in the restaurant it's always so good and so fresh. the service is absolutely amazing as well,everyone that works there shows they're dedicated and very nice/polite would hundred times recommend coming here and eating here if you're looking for a nice hot meal after a hangover or feeling sick at all. helps all the time!! read more

Wow! Their coffee is addicting! I saw a fb in the Frederick group asking about coffee. one lady said to try the egg coffee at Pho & More. We found ourselves over that way and gave it a try. It blew our minds! It was so good, we went back for more the next day. We got the egg code and tried the salted coffee. Somehow even better! The kids love the lycee and mango drinks. We also got some of their discounted appetizers. Their summer rolls even won over my 9 year old! Everything we have tried has been amazing! so much so, I went back to the fb post and thanked the lady. She told me to try the salted or the coconut coffee next and we will. Stumbled upon here after a round of golf and this hit the spot! The location is very clean and the service was friendly and attentive. The broth was perfect and did not require any additional seasoning unless you want it spicy! The portions were a little on the lighter side for the price, but nonetheless, it was delicious. I'm always excited when we get new Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Got takeout for the first time tonight. We ordered the bun bae hue dac biet, monk pho, and grilled beef with vermicelli. Hubby picked up our order and said the interior is modern and clean. Pros: - The soup was piping hot (granted we only live a couple mins away from here) - Everything was packaged nicely - Both broths were very flavorful Cons: - I noticed a to go charge and an additional 3% charge on our receipt even though we paid in cash (the to go charge is a first for me) - Toppings/veggies for the monk pho were sparse Can't speak for service since we did not dine in, but I would like to go back to try some of their other items another time. Amazing pho and even better service! This place has quickly become my go-to spot. I love their Com Ga Roti and Bun Bae Hue. The service is always excellent -- friendly, fast, and welcoming. I tried the Dogin' Beef Dac Biet for the first time and it was so good. Also, their coffee is hands-down the best I've had at any pho place. Pho & More had their grand opening yesterday so this is a "first glance" review. Summary: great addition to Frederick's Vietnamese restaurant community! Spousal Unit and I went for quick lunch. We ordered Crispy Spring Rolls and The Classic pho (Tai chin nam with rare steak, brisket, and flank). Spring Rolls were the best I've ever had; great pork and veg filling and shatteringly crisp wrapper. Pho was a large serving; broth was full of flavor, noodles were good, meat was very good. And did I mention that this was a large serving? I tried, but could not finish. Service was great, ambiance was very nice. Menu is very limited, mostly pho and banh mi sandwiches with a very few rice and noodle dishes. Will be interesting to see how/if this expands. Will be back? Let's just say I look forward to seeing the fish (koi?) in the tank by the door grow larger over many years to come. It's a keeper! read more

Rolls had too much lettuce and not enough vermicelli noodles. My wife soup was disappointing, broth had no flavor, very bland and tasted like it came from a can. She asked for no fishballs but it came with fish balls anyway. There were two small pieces of squid and two very small shrimps in the broth. Soup is The Seafarers.See pictures I had the Banh Hoi Dac Biet meal. Small portions of the meats. Flavor was just barely noticeable. I'm so glad that I decided to try them out when they first opened on Monday! Now, seeing myself coming back for the third time of the week, and I can't get enough of their pho, viet glazed chicken wings appetizer, and coffee. The pho here surpasses any others around. They have done a lovely job decorating this space but the additional charges on my bill were an unwelcome surprise. I got Pho soup and wanted to take some home and asked for a container. I then got charged as if I ordered it ToGo with a 50 cent charge and also a closed container CC charge of 69 cents. Since the soup was $16 at lunch time and I left a $5 cash tip on the table I was very disappointed by these ridiculous extra charges. I won't be returning and will not recommend this restaurant. I have been to this restaurant twice so far and I have to say after trying multiple Pho's in the area this one has been my go to place. The food tastes great, as well as the menu providing an assortment of drinks. The atmosphere is very calming and welcoming, giving a cafe style environment plus nice cafe music in the background. Service is very quick and the worker is very nice. My only concern that I only noticed my second time being a customer there is the fish tank. Although my comment may appear to be silly to some, I have big concern for the fish in the tank as the fish are in an empty tank. When I say empty, I mean completely empty! Providing no stimulation at all. Now, I am not an expert on how to take care of fish as I did not grow up taking care of any, but I know well enough to know that fish cannot thrive without rocks, places to hide, and plants, this can cause the fish to be stressed out. I mean I could hardly enjoy my food without knowing the fish are just eating away at the tank! I have never wrote a review for any place yet I felt a great need to write my concern for the fish. Besides my concern, I definitely recommend trying this place out at least once. I just hope the next time I come back, the fish tank will look more like home for these beautiful fish. read more
