This was my first time here, I had tahi in so many restaurants and unfortunately this was not one of the best, service was ok, ambiance ok, the food did not taste as Thai is supposed to taste, very blend flavors, I ask for Thai spice and server said take medium spice better, it was not spice at all and I could of ask for spice try but it was not going to make that much of a change. My wife that likes to try different things in menus was disappointed of the results. Not looking for a free meal just giving my review for better results next time. read more

My wife and I dined here last Saturday for lunch. We both had our usual Thai favorites. Drunken noodles with beef and stirfry fried vegetables, cashew nuts, and chicken. Both entrée portions were very generous in size. Those trees were very tasty and we enjoyed them. Wait service was prompt and also the food came very quickly after it was ordered. The stirfry vegetables were not quite as spicy as I like, so I asked for extra spice and they brought it quickly. The restaurant itself is attractive and tastefully, decorated in a nice Asian decor. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. A total bill was $45 plus gratuity a little more expensive than our favorite downtown Frederick Thai restaurant, but to be fair it was Saturday and they did not offer a luncheon menu on weekends. A big plus was free parking. The downtown Thai restaurant that we frequently dine at requires street parking or parking garage parking. All in all, I would give this Restuarant 4.5 stars... It is very good and I can recommend it with no reservations. We will be happy to dine there again when we are close by. read more

The atmosphere was well lite, there was some low playing musis. The decor was very cool. They had a good selection of wine. Their menu had a lot of good options. Me and my friend ordered four $6 appetizers since we made it for happy hour. Score. We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures of the food. Ugh. Rest assured, it came out quickly and was nice and hot. The food was delicious. We ordered the Chive Dumplings, Curry Puffs, Crispy Wontons, and Chicken Gyoza. The Chicken Gyoza stole the show 10 out of 10. But to be fair everything was good. Our server checked on us to make sure we didnt needed or want anything else and refilled or drink twice and we weren't there but 35-45 mins. Next chance I get it will be back. read more

Cute little spot next to the movie theater! A little smaller space may not work for multiple larger parties but decent. The decorations are cute and the table settings are fancy and thoughtful. The service was normal, slightly slower but not horrible, food does come about relatively quickly! (For a lunch time break) I had gotten a couple of dishes with my wife. Crying tiger steak as an appetizer and Pad Thai the Sizzling Beef for myself. My wife enjoyed her Pad Thai and I thought it was good a good standard Pad Thai. The white meat was good, not too dry or chewy. Always an easy safe dish but tender and good! 4/5 The crying tiger steak appetizer was 2/5. The flavor was good was it was just way too tough. If it was cut against the grain it might have been slighter better and tender but hard to know. The dipping sauce was good! The sizzling beef was super tender, like a brazed meat but the meat itself had minimal flavor, the sauce makes the meat. Overall it was good, could've had the flavor imbued more into the meat but still good. 3.5/5 We also got the Thai tea and Thai coffee, they were both good overall. I thought that the Thai tea could've been a little bit more sweet, but it wasn't too bad. Only criticism is that it had maybe a little bit too much ice. The Thai coffee was good, but it had an interesting flavor to it like...something that wasn't fitting? I don't know how else to explain it, however, might order again to see. Also had too much ice. We just finished watching a movie and undecided where to eat, saw Thai Table and so glad we chose this place. It's not a big place but the vibe and scenery was awesome and there is option to eat outside. The server was amazing and attentive, and no long wait to be served. From the drinks to the appetizers to the main meal was excellent. The food was tasty and good portion also. Of course, we took some back to our hotel. I am going back if in that area again! Stopped in on a whim with hubby. We only got drinks and an appetizer but so glad we did! Pros -bottomless mimosa's for $18! Very tastefully decorated small, quiet restaurant with good service - it would be a good spot for a date. Satay was perfect. The Ginger Ginger dish with beef was my healthy choice, not too spicy but still tasty. Tempura Shrimp (Volcano) was the other choice, see pictures. Driving from D.C. to Pennsylvania during dinner time, we stopped for Thai at Thai Table. The food was great, not the experience. On the road, we ordered takeout ahead of time so it would be ready by the time we arrived. Once we got to the restaurant on a Friday evening, it took awhile for someone on staff to help us. Realizing it would be messy to eat in the car, we asked if we could sit at one of the many empty tables. Right away the server said "No!" She told us all tables were reserved. However, the people behind us walked in without a reservation and sat down immediately. We understand we ordered takeout, but it seemed odd to not be able to eat it there when half the restaurant was empty. Alas! The food was good! I stopped in for lunch and loved this place! It had such a great vibe inside, well decorated, warm, and welcoming. This place does not feel like a strip mall restaurant at all. I ordered the Drunken Noodle with chicken; I asked that it be mild to medium in heat and it came out just like I asked. Great flavor and the noodles were so tender. Probably the best tasting drunken noodles I've had in a long time. The owner came over to ask how I liked my food and chatted with me for a few...so nice. For dessert, I had the mango sticky rice. We liked it such that we went two weekends in a row. The place was nicely decorated. The service is wonderful. The chicken panang curry was a repeat, and my picky eater absolutely loved the dish. One of my favorite Thai dishes is Larb, and you can get it chicken or tofu. We got it i. Tofu both times. AMAZING! We also got Pad Pak with tofu both times. There is something about sauce that I just love; however, it is a little on the sweeter side. The vegetables are cooked perfectly....a little al dente, the way we like them. We also got som tum (papaya salad)- excellent; summer rolls- light and healthy; shrimp lover (probably our least favorite dish). Of course, the sticky rice and mango was delicious. My new favorite lunch spot! I've gone twice in 3 days . As soon as you walk in, you feel the comfort and authenticity. It's a cafe/intimate restaurant feel. The service is quick and friendly. The first time I came, I ordered the Pad Pak(not featured here) which was so savory in flavor. It was the perfect portion for lunch! My friend ordered the pad Thai which she mentioned was seasoned to perfection, very flavorful and greatly portioned for a lunch special. We paired it with the best Thai iced tea I've had! Also topped it off with a refreshing lychee sake. This was such a great experience that I returned the next day and ordered the Kaprow lunch special. Even more delectable! If a restaurant has high chairs for babies and toddlers, then it should have a changing table in the restroom. A parent shouldn't have to change a child's diaper on the restroom floor, especially if the restroom has ample space for a changing table or even a simple bench. We went to Thai Table for an early evening family dinner. We had a larger group (10 people), including a toddler. The food was fine. Not terrible, but not the best Thai we've had. When I pointed out the lack of changing table, the waitress said she told the owner and that was it - not even an apology for the inconvenience. read more

I recently got takeout here and was pretty unimpressed. I tried the chicken pad Thai and the noodles were all clumped together. It didn't have any sauce either- it was like a clumpy dry noodle with VERY dry chicken. I had to throw most of it out. The spring rolls with sweet chili sauce were crispy but just a bit too greasy. The wonton soup came in a small container with about 3 wontons and a lots of chunky cabbage, for $8. Unfortunately it just wasn't as good as other Thai places in the area so I don't think I'll be back. read more

We had an enjoyable dining experience at Thai Table this evening from start to finish. We loved each dish that we ordered and the owner, Eight, was very gracious, friendly, and generous with his time getting to know our family. We ordered a few dishes tonight and every one of them was delicious. We had the Pik Pao seafood dish, drunken fried rice, the chicken Pad Thai, the chicken satay, and crispy Vietnamese spring roll. They were all my favorite dishes and I couldn't just pick one as my favorite because all them that we tried was so flavorful. The owner even gave our table a complimentary dessert to try. I'm not usually a banana fan but we tried the banana fritters with coconut ice cream with pieces of jackfruit. And the pairing of the crunchy and sweet were perfect. All the dishes were beautifully presented that I didn't even have to use a filter for my photos. There's plenty of parking and the restaurant is modernly designed and clean. The service was efficient and friendly. There's lot of indoor and outdoor patio seating. What a gem to the Frederick dining scene, and I can't wait to visit again and try other dishes! read more

She also enjoyed the crispy wontons, although they could have done with a more generous amount of filling. My Drunken Noodles however were way too spicey, I would rate them as hot. Whereas I would expect them to be no more than medium given there was no spicey or hot warning next to them. Maybe I missed something, maybe I need to leave a note about the spice level in future. This place was so good. When they say homemade it really seems like they mean it. I had the Klua Kai Noodle. When I get Thai I usually get pad thai but I wanted to switch it up and try this one. The noodles were so tender and delicious, as was the chicken and spices. It comes with a sweet sauce and a spicy chili sauce on the side which were great additions. Great food in a lovely setting. My bride and I tried Thai Table for the first time last week, and it's a good choice. Frederick is really growing its Asian food choices lately. Having been here forever, we can remember when there were a handful of Cantonese-style Chinese restaurants (China Pearl, Mandarin, Peking Gourmet anyone?) and little else. Now, when we agree on Thai food, for example, we have to figure out which of several very good places to visit. Coming from that, we were feeling like exploring new options the other night, and in the dense forest of big and little restaurants popping up in the shadow of the Westview theater shopping complex, we spotted a Yelp listing for a Thai place we hadn't been. The address kept us guessing a little because there are so many slots in this shopping center, but we finally figured out it was at the old Mediterranean Grill location (which we'll miss). Park as if you're going to the movies, and it's roughly catty-corner inside the plaza. We walked in on the early side of Friday night dinner rush, and it was nearly empty. A beautifully decorated space, though not large, and with a fenced little outdoor set of tables. It was impossible to see the vestiges of previous restaurants. We were just ahead of a rush of people, though, and the single server found herself "in the weeds" pretty quickly. We ordered quickly to beat the crowd: a delicious Thai iced tea, a Thai beer, the chicken satay app, the shrimp-and-chicken-dumpling soup, shrimp Pad Thai, and green curry with chicken. Food came out pretty quickly. The satay was a lovely example, with golden grilled chicken strips and a cup of very tasty peanut sauce. The soup was good though less memorable. The Pad Thai had nice large and fresh shrimp (we've come to judge some Asian restaurants on the size and freshness of the shrimp), and my wife said it was the best Pad Thai she's had (it's her go-to choice at Thai places, so that's saying quite a lot). My green curry brought a medium heat, I'd say, and was intensely savory, as it is in the best preparations, with tender bits of chicken and chunks of bell pepper and eggplant. All in all, a very good set of dishes. Service got a little spotty as the place filled up, and the man behind the counter came out to help. We only waited a little when it was time for the check. Thai Table impressed us with the quality of the food and the ambience, and the service was friendly despite getting a little slow at times.
