Shrimp Egg Foo Young. - A black plastic container contains shrimp egg foo young, featuring a mixture of eggs, shrimp, and vegetables covered in a thick gravy. The dish appears partially eaten, with some gravy pooled at the bottom. The background includes a colorful fabric surface, indicating it was served as takeout food from a Chinese restaurant.

Tasty food, good number of variety, friendly and prompt service. Reasonable prices. I have been frequenting this restaurant since 2006. I am served mostly by the Owner, Ms. Charlene who is very pleasant to interact with.

Shrimp chow mein combo platter but they don't give you noodles and don't tell you.

So disappointed! Ordered shrimp chow mein for delivery from the special combination menu section. The description said it would come with rice and an egg roll. Obviously, it costs more than a normal order but comes with more food right? NOPE. They sub the noodles and give you only rice. So what I received was a bunch of onions with some shrimp and rice. No noodles. Correct me if I'm wrong but noodles are what make dishes mein. Any other Chinese restaurant gives you rice in addition to the actual chow mein when you order a combo platter. To sub it out without saying anything is so cheap and rude!

Most disgusting Chinese food I've ever had. How did they get a 5 star rating is beyond me. It went right in the trash. Waste of $40.

This is my FAVORITE Asian restaurant anywhere. The service and food is impeccable. The portions…read moreare very generous and made with fresh, wholesome ingredients. The menu is filled with lots of varied choices, including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes. And to top it all off, the cost of this delicious food is VERY reasonable. Today, for lunch, I ordered Mongolian Beef, accompanied by hot and sour soup, which was perfectly seasoned and balanced, a spring roll, and rice. I had enough to take home left after consuming enough to be satisfied. I recommend that you make Modern Asia your "go-to" Asian restaurant.

Yesterday was busy, and neither Spousal Unit or I wanted to cook. We decided to order delivery…read morefrom Modern Asia; good choice! SU ordered Kung Pao Shrimp, her "go-to" and every Asian restaurant, and compares each one to China Garden's version. Her verdict: Modern Asia's was "OK", and she told me I could eat the leftovers for my lunch. I did. My verdict was the same: OK, but nothing to write home to Mother about. (My comparison, BTW, is to a restaurant we enjoyed in Ithaca New York that made Kung Pao with peppers that would flay your face from the inside if you dared to eat one. Modern Asia's didn't even tickle, making it a let down). I ordered Seafood Combination Chinese Yellow Curry, a new dish for me. It was yummy. Described as one-pepper spicy on the menu, it had less heat than the Kung Pao, but the curry sauce had layers of flavor. It featured shrimp, scallops, and calmari plus a wonderful mix of peppers, onions, and other veg. All were nicely (crisply) cooked, even taking into account the Door Dash delivery time. I really enjoyed it. Next time I may ask for a bit more heat, but as it is, I hoovered up every morsel. Try it - you'll like it!

This restaurant is located in the Hmart food court. This was my first time eating pork tangsu so I…read moredon't have any comparison, but I liked the flavor and quantity at this restaurant. The pork was fried well and the breading wasn't overwhelming or too much. You can either eat the fried pork by itself, dip it in the sweet and sour sauce, or pour the sauce all over the fried pork. I liked to dip the pork in the sauce so the pork stays crispy. I was surprised that the onion and bell pepper were raw in the sauce. I would have enjoyed it more if they were cooked. There were also carrots and pineapple in the sauce.

About a 2-2.5: Delicious Chinese Restaurant - I really wanted to like you!…read more This vendor is one of the food court finds you'll find at H Mart - note that you have to go to another kiosk to place orders for any of the vendors that you'd like to order from; I guess it's a way to allow the eateries to focus on preparing the food, rather than lose the extra employee in dealing with the register. Masheeneun Joonggook Jip, aka 'Delicious Chinese Restaurant' offers your typical Korean-Chinese fare, such as jajangmyun, jjambbong, tang soo yook, ggangpoongi, etc. We came here for lunch, and we ordered: +jajangmyun - wasn't a fan of the black bean sauce, as there seemed to hardly be any flavor - it was super bland; also, the noodles were overcooked and were 'swollen' +hae mool jjambbong - the seafood jjambong's broth had a spicy kick to it; unfortunately, the broth was super thin, and while there were ample amount of mussels, the squid had a fishy smell to them and were not fresh; there were tons of noodles, however, but just like the jajangmyun, they was overcooked +soon sahl dak gganpoongi - these came boneless; this was actually not a bad dish, as the sauce wasn't too syrupy sweet as most Korean-Chinese places make them; they had a slight kick to them, had tons of veggies (bell peppers, peas, onions), and tons of sauce, which would be great eating with a bowl of rice I was a little surprised that the only banchan they gave you with the meal was the dakgwang (pickled yellow radish), but no kimchi or ggakdoogi (fermented radish cubes); I also thought that a bowl of rice would have been served with the entrees, like the gganpoongi. There was about a 40-minute wait (which we were quoted), as there were a lot of patrons ordering from this place - a recommendation would be to get there earlier before the lunch rush. This seems to be run by a husband-and-wife team, and they were really slinging everything; super kind. This may be a good option for those living in the Frederick area, but definitely not worth the trek for us. Glad we were able to try it, but we wouldn't return. Plenty of parking in the lot. +stick with the gganpoongi +overcooked noodles +order near the Sogongdong Tofu place for any eatery items +located inside H Mart +plenty of parking in lot
