Peking Duck Roll
Maria F.

The ambiance of the place is vibrant and really well put-together. Staff is friendly and food service is quick. The food can out steaming hot and so fresh. I got the shrimp pad Thai for my main dish and for appetizer I got the papaya salad. The salad was good to the last bits and I'm not ashamed to say I drank the remaining juicy dressing as it was so delish!!! My husband got the Peking duck eggroll and he enjoyed that for appetizer. He got the salmon pad see euw but although he swears it's the best, I did not enjoy the combo salmon but the actual pad see euw was tasty and served steaming hot right out of the pan! The best shrimp pad Thai I have ever tasted is here as well. Busting with flavor, sauce is just right and so savory. I wish I had a second stomach lol. The whole experience was amazing and I can not wait to come back!!!

Herbal Chicken Special

My family and I were on our way back home from Virginia and were looking for somewhere to eat in Frederick. This was one of many restaurants I saw when searching, and I'm so glad I tried it! The inside of the restaurant is so pretty, and the staff were so kind. We didn't come at a busy time so we were seated quickly and our food came out fast. The herbal chicken was delicious and seasoned to perfection! I also appreciate that they allowed my mother to customize the spice level.

Crab Rangoon

literally thank God there is a good Thai place in the area! I've been looking for a solid Thai spot and finally came across this gem. We ordered the crab rangoons, chicken wings, pad thai with shrimp and crab fried rice with an aperol spritz on happy hour (which they have everyday btw) NOTHING disappointed. Everything was absolutely cooked to perfection and flavors on point. Ive never had a wing so crispy with a good sauce to meat ratio and the filling in the crab rangoon wasn't your typical filling it was just divine. Pad thai had a great amount of sauce, crab meat on the rice was generous too. I will be coming back and trying a bunch more. I saw a few other items i wanted to try but we were already stuffed. I love the interior design of the place + it was super clean. Service was relatively fast too. Loved it here and highly recommend!

Mango Sweet Sticky Rice

What a beautiful restaurant! The lighting, the decor, even the "Hey Beautiful" sign in the bathroom made me smile. It is very welcoming and relaxing. The service was wonderful - our server was very kind and answered our questions. She even apologized when she said they were out of Ube ice cream! As a first time customer, I was very impressed by how quickly everything came to the table. The set up of the Iced Thai Coffee is very clever. I love how we can control the ratios of sugar, tea, and milk. I ordered the Crispy Shrimp with Pineapple Fried Rice which was delicious! The portion size gave me enough for lunch the next day! This was my first time ever having mango sweet sticky rice and it was so sweet and delicious! I cannot wait to visit again and bring others!!

First time here, beautiful decorations, bright and inviting. We got some to go orders here, since was in the area. Service was good, but since we did not sit down for table service, so this is not a full dining in review. Will return for a full dining in experience. Maybe because it was a takeout, the food flavor was great, but noodles got a bit soggy from staying in the boxes too long, not their fault. And the roti was a bit dry. Pork was delicious so was the lychee crème. While we were waiting for the food, we ordered couple drinks & really liked them, especially liked the make your own thai tea concept. Will return for a dine in experience.

Kim Chi Fried Rice

We wanted some Thai food and stopped over at Kittiwat. One of my favorite foods is red Curry so I was looking for something similar. I chose the pumpkin Curry and my hubby chose Kimchi Fried Rice. The flavors of the pumpkin Curry were so amazing, this dish has now become my favorite and I will look to have it everywhere I go and be disappointed! There were big pieces of chicken and big pieces of pumpkin but also had a kick of spice! (chef's kiss). The service was quick and it is beautifully decorated on the inside. 10 /10 recommend!

Thai Iced Coffee
Amelea J.

I thought it was weird that the crispy pork is beer battered. I won't get that again because it's not your traditional Thai way of doing that. The service is nice. Thai ice coffee is fancy and they make the ice cube out of coffee. They don't have all the traditional Thai sauces to serve on the side. The spicy basil is more soupy for some reason. Nice decor and I probably will try something different next time.

I normally order my food to go, but recently went on a triple date and ate in the restaurant. Eating in the restaurant was a game changer! The vibes and decor inside are stunning and the food presentations were unique. I found it interesting that when you order food online you can choose your heat level (somewhat required) but in person you order as is, unless you specify. There was also a rule on the menu that said no refunds if an item is listed as spicy and was too spicy for your palette. That made me laugh. Also for guests or 6 or more gratuity is automatically added, which is typical.

Crab Fried Rice Special

I'll say it again- we absolutely love this place. We rarely order anything other than the crab fried rice , crab Rangoon, and Thai iced tea ... see that rice in the pic and you will see why!!! Soooo much fresh, juicy lump crab ...

Lychee sticky rice

Beautiful restaurant with wonderful food and service, nicest owner! Couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. What a great find and a great chef. Everything was delicious!! So grateful they were open on Christmas.

The selection of dishes was impressive. We started with a variety of appetizers before progressing to the entrees. My seafood drunken noodles was packed with shrimp, squid, scallops and clams. Unfortunately the dish wasn't as spicy as I hoped. The service was attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was spare and the space was loud. I would describe it as industrial. The restaurant was full by 1 Pm on this Friday. As for the outdoor seating there was nothing attractive about sitting by the parking lots. Still a good buy

Pad Thai

Kittiwat is so cute inside! It was small but cute! It had plants on the walls. It had a full bar and amazing food. The spicy level isn't a joke! The service was great as well. Since it wasn't busy, our sever was just waiting around for us.

Me and my friend ordered four $6 appetizers since we made it for happy hour. Score. We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures of the food. Ugh. Rest assured, it came out quickly and was nice and hot. The food was delicious. We ordered the Chive Dumplings, Curry Puffs, Crispy Wontons, and Chicken Gyoza. The Chicken Gyoza stole the show 10 out of 10. But to be fair everything was good. Our server checked on us to make sure we didnt needed or want anything else and refilled or drink twice and we weren't there but 35-45 mins. Next chance I get it will be back.

The decorations are cute and the table settings are fancy and thoughtful. The service was normal, slightly slower but not horrible, food does come about relatively quickly! (For a lunch time break) I had gotten a couple of dishes with my wife. Crying tiger steak as an appetizer and Pad Thai the Sizzling Beef for myself. My wife enjoyed her Pad Thai and I thought it was good a good standard Pad Thai. The white meat was good, not too dry or chewy. Always an easy safe dish but tender and good! 4/5 The crying tiger steak appetizer was 2/5. The flavor was good was it was just way too tough. If it was cut against the grain it might have been slighter better and tender but hard to know. The dipping sauce was good! The sizzling beef was super tender, like a brazed meat but the meat itself had minimal flavor, the sauce makes the meat. Overall it was good, could've had the flavor imbued more into the meat but still good. 3.5/5 We also got the Thai tea and Thai coffee, they were both good overall. I thought that the Thai tea could've been a little bit more sweet, but it wasn't too bad. Only criticism is that it had maybe a little bit too much ice. The Thai coffee was good, but it had an interesting flavor to it like...something that wasn't fitting? I don't know how else to explain it, however, might order again to see. Also had too much ice. Overall, good place to get a meal or have a date. Would like to try some more things and come back again!

First impression: it's a small space, but really well decorated, spotless, and welcoming. Service was genuinely friendly and warm from the moment we walked in. Now the food... My husband ordered the wide rice noodles with beef (think drunken noodle vibes), and honestly, that dish alone is worth the trip. Perfectly cooked noodles, tons of flavor, and just the right amount of heat. I may or may not have helped myself to more than a few bites while he stepped away... sorry, not sorry. I went with the red curry with coconut and chicken, loaded with fresh vegetables. It was rich, fragrant, and completely slurpable. Exactly what I was craving. The crispy spring roll came out piping hot and perfectly fried, with that satisfying crunch on the outside. Fair warning: the spice here builds. It starts friendly... and then sneaks up on you in the best way Bonus points for the lunch specials, which are very reasonably priced and a great value for the quality and portion size. All in, super fresh, perfectly prepared dishes, warm service, and bold flavors. Highly recommend... we'll absolutely be back.

I liked the addition of panko breadcrumbs for crunch, but I wish the imitation crab meat had been shredded more finely for better texture. For my entree, I ordered the Spicy Basil Crispy Duck (added $1 for Thai spicy). They definitely delivered on the spicy level, but the duck itself was not crispy. It came with rice and bell peppers and basil. The sushi tasted fresh, which was good. Service could use some improvement. We had to ask for small bowls for soy sauce, and when we requested a dessert menu to celebrate the birthday, we were told the kitchen had already closed. It would have been nice if our server had given us a heads up before the kitchen closed. The ambiance is cozy. It almost feels like dining in someone's house. They had Halloween decorations up and murals of historic Frederick painted on the walls. They also have a private parking lot, which made it convenient. Overall, food was good, but a little more attentiveness from the staff would've made the experience even better.

Since we were in the company of a bunch of preteens, ice tea and mango bubble thingies were enjoyed by all. (For the future: they have a full bar, with everything from beers to fruity drinks to shots. I didn't see sake on the menu, but I'm not a fan so didn't look really hard). Apps were good, with serving sizes plentiful. We ordered fried calamari (served in stick form, not rings; weird but tasty), really nice tempura, and Ying Yang shrimp (the spicy may sauce was OK, but the wasabi sauce was killer!). For mains we focused on: sushi. Lots and lots of sushi. The rolled sushi menu is very long; the sushi (actually nigiri) and sashimi menu not so much. Nothing on the menu described how big the portions were so the 'dults each ordered a several different selections, both rolls and sushi. This kiddies ordered ramen, and Spousal Unit got Drunken Noodles with Chicken along with a sushi roll. Turns out the rolls were HUGE so we overordered dramatically (pro tip: ask in the future). Everything was fresh and tasty. My only quibble was that the Spider Roll appeared to be fried surimi (artificial crab) not soft shell crab. How could I tell? No legs, baby! We rolled out stuffed, with a doggie bag full of sushi for Daddy Dearest's second dinner. The price was very reasonable, and the quality far better than Lantern Sushi (but not as good as Sushi Nomo or Lazy Fish).
