I consider myself a lucky guy. So I really don't have the need to shop for clothing that's called Lucky LOL. My wife of the other hand loves shopping and visits here ever so often. It's right between her favorite store - Anthropologie and Nordstrom, so it's always a must to check out what they have available. It doesn't hurt that they tend to have sales almost every weekend. At least they advertise them... Prices are reasonable once you factor in the discounts but styles for men don't do it for me. Once in a while, I'll find a WuTang Shirt but never any jeans or shirts that say Lucky... Service is always excellent and the lines are never too long. Once in a while the fitting room gets busy... I'll be back for sure, since I'm married to a fashionista. She's the reason why I consider myself lucky! read more

Great customer service!! Greeted immediately and left to wander. That greeting tells me that "you see me" and "know I'm interested" in something there. You see me carrying clothes and quickly offer to start a fitting room for me and offer assistance getting other sizes if needed. And get this - all with a smile and pep in your step! This is what makes shopping pleasant and easy! It helps that your clothing is pretty hip, not so trendy and usually at the right price point. I bought their Bonneville Leather jacket a couple Christmas ago here at the UTC store. Great jacket and I bought it on sale. Everything else has been garbage. Their tshirts are tissue thin and fall apart quickly, their cargo pants fell apart on the first use - the snap buttons just ripped right out and the pockets were shallow. I wore their cargo pants all of 1 time, before they were trashed. H&M, of all places, sells cheaper clothing that's actually far better quality. Lucky Brand is mostly over priced garbage. No one shops here. I don't know how they stay in business. read more

I bought a great pair of sweat pants here and would have bought more stuff had they had larger sizes in their hoodies, but I find it hard to shell out over 100 bux for a hoodie. Their sweat pants are strangely oversized, I was a small even though I am a large. The cool thing is that there was an Asian with a large mohawk working there and I liked that a lot as its rare to find any hawks especially one at work, not even hot topic has any hawks that I have seen, never mind an asian sporting one, anyways it reminded me of me over 20 years ago. read more

In July, I walked in the store and was swiftly told to wait outside, there weren't any posted signs saying they were limiting entry, but I was happy to oblige. They told me to wait until people leave. A family of four then left and the woman at the register yelled at me when I entered. "YOU NEED TO WAIT," I apologized and said I was confused, maybe they can add someone outside like all the other stores. When I looked around, the store was empty. I ended up just leaving. Yesterday, I went to UTC to shop at Lucky, but there was a "we will be right back" sign. I went to other stores and came back an hour later but the doors still weren't open. Not sure what's going on but if their sales numbers are down, turning customers away might be why. read more

Okay so I had to mess with the numbers for the amount of stars because ..... customer service sucked big time BUT, despite the high priced clothing, the sale and selection were awesome. So one star for customer service, 5 stars for price and selection, give/take a star for the awesomeness of how these jeans fit and I settled for 4 stars. Lucky Brand is very expensive. Pants are around 100 or more ... I always told myself that if the pants fit and i looked good in them, I'd plunk down whatever amount. I would have never gone in this store except we recently returned from the Desert Outlets near Palm Springs and I loved the Lucky Brand Store in the Outlet. Today at this UTC location they have 50% off many MANY jeans, shorts, shirts, etc. Alot of stores put all their outdated, ugly crap on sale but at Lucky Brand, the jeans and shirts were soo cute and in style. And .. they had childrens' clothing which I had no idea. I will be back! Just beware, Know what you want and don't ask.. at least on the day I went. read more

They are so helpful and give their opinions about what they like and don't like. Selection seems pretty good as well, and there's usually some sort of sale going on so get a deal if you can! read more

I can't believe I have never been to a Lucky Store until last weekend. I always assumed it was like Guess (bling bling blah), but its not at all! I bought my husband and I both some jeans and Tshirts on Friday night, and went back Sunday for more. The staff at UTC was very helpful both times - helping me wade through the stacks of denim by listening to what I wanted and pulling out a couple to try. They even mailed me a thank you card for spending my time and money with them. How sweet! Their clothes are pretty nice quality, with unique designs (I am addicted to embroidery), and reasonable prices. Very stylish tshirts are about $30-40, jeans $98-138ish. Unfortunately, Lucky is my favorite store. I only say "unfortunately" b.c. they are not known to be inexpensive. HOWEVER -- I see this as a good thing. You get what you pay for!!! Their jeans are expensive, yes, but they will stand the test of time. I recently went to the UTC location b.c. I had a g/c that was burning a hole in my wallet :) Kevin was SUPER helpful. He was so nice & had the type of attitude I wish every retail person in every store had. I will go out of my way to shop at this location b.c. of the service. I am not a big designer jean type of gal & the toughest person to make happy! Went to UTC for lunch and afternoon of shopping with a friend. Walk in this store and was greeted with a smile & hello. 40% off jeans & jewelry I had to look. I was approached by a cute lady named Julie who was nice and good at her job...selling me $100 jeans for $60 due to the sale. I have an issue with jeans fitting me properly as I have curves. I was sure these jeans made for skinny chicks were not going to fit this size 12 gal. I was wrong they do have a curvy jean & capri's...I was impressed on the way fit my curves. Of course I was sold on jeans that stretch with my body. I was very happy with my purchase & the ladies of Lucky Brand Jeans store. I will return for another pair of jeans or maybe look at some tops. read more

I came in one afternoon with some jeans I had bought a few weeks ago that I wanted to exchange for a smaller size. I wore them once to try them on, did not wash them. I had all the original tags, but not the receipt. I speak to the manager on duty and she instantly refuses to exchange my jeans because the tags were taken off. I tried to explain the situation but she didn't budge. This might not reflect the rest of the employees, but this manager puts her sales "numbers" ahead of the satisfaction of a customer who had already purchased an article of clothing. She had no intent to help or provide any sort of solution. I think I'll take my business to a different Lucky store. read more

Cute shop! EXPENSIVE, but I already knew that because I used to have luckys when my mom would buy them for me on occasion in high school (now that I buy my own jeans I choose not to afford such luxuries). I got some really cute earrings there, and I loved their whole jewelry section! Their bags are awesome too (my favorite bag in the WORLD is their black medium stitched hobo bag, I own one and it's wonderous), as well as their accessories (but again, too pricey for me). I'll be back to raid the jewelry section again for the lower-ticket items, and maybe if I stop being so cheap I'll buy something else one of these days :). read more

worst company ever!!! someone hacked my atm on a friday at 7:30 at night, first thing the following saturday morning I contacted each of the 4 companies that merchandise was purchased using my card. All, including lucky assured me that it would not be a problem, especially since a bunch of the info didnt match, most of the companies had already red flagged the order. . . . but not lucky. these idiots thought that business is business, even if it is with stolen money, and processed the order anyway. scumbags!!!! never purchase anything from you. read more

I have always loved Lucky Brand Jeans, and as we all know they are pretty pricey but this store makes the price worth it. Every time I have shopped here I have had wonderful service, in fact I pass 2 Lucky Stores on my way to UTC but I think the drive is worth the excellent service. so i like lucky jeans, but had a bad experience at this store these 2 stars are for the bad experience i bought a friend a gift here and she didn't want it. so i will admit it took me a while to get back to the store to return it, but i everything was unworn, tags still on, original receipt, etc and asked if they could give me a gift card or store credit. nope, they made me exchange it for something and they wouldn't do gift card, credit, nothing. ok, fine, no problem. so the original gift was about $80 so i had $80 to spend. i found something for $60 thinking, ok, they'll give me $20 in cash and done nope. not a chance. the problem was, the cheapest thing in the store as $40. so i had to spend $40 to get my $20. not cool. read more

Horrible customer service!!!!!!! The manager refused to take my return with tags attached & receipt! She told me to call customer service which I did right there in stores and the customer service line told me the manager can CHOOSE to accept return!!!!! She refused me because I was past the 30 days! I live 3 hours from nearest store. So I held my return past the 30 days until I traveled to a town that had a store. How awful and miserable of a human being is this manager for being so mean & hateful about it. I'm honest person. These items were never worn never had tags removed and I'm willing to expose this store for there horrific behavior. I hope everyone takes this seriously and boycotts this store! I realize this is very long review ...I felt it necessary to explain in great detail so others can avoid doing business with this place. Stores should not have managers choosing based on their moods! As you can see in other reviews it's a pattern with the manager! I'm going to contact corporate and show them these reviews and request she be fired! read more

In my view many of their salespeople at the UTC store and in La Jolla are too pushy. I like their clothes, but it seems like they want to keep interacting with you even if you don't ask for it, so they can make a sale. I've had to return a couple of things lately and they try to sell you something with the money/credit you're getting back. read more

What a disappointment! My son in-law bought a jacket that my daughter took into the store to return, with the receipt, and we left with a store credit. The jacket was a size 44 and the receipt showed they had rung up a size 42. Therefore, they wouldn't give her the money back. He is traveling abroad so we couldn't ask him anything about this purchase. However, we thought that most likely he had two jackets in his hands as he went up to pay and the clerk scanned the one he didn't want, size 42, and put the one he wanted in the bag, size 44. We spoke to the manager, Randii, and she was not helpful and just kept telling us that the store policy is you must have a receipt and we didn't have a receipt for the size 44 jacket. We told her what we thought had most likely happened and her attitude was pretty much "too bad, too sad" you're lucky we are giving you store credit for the amount on your receipt because it's on sale now. How do you defend against a receipt that is obviously wrong and so easy to figure out what probably happened? In the future we will make our Lucky brand purchases from Nordstrom, where they match any price or discount. read more
