The girls behind the counter when my daughter and I went this past Saturday (Oct. 3) were talking very negatively about their co worker calling her "broke" and saying other foul things about her. I didn't catch their names, but I remember one of them had many facial piercings. These made me feel really negatively about the whole establishment. The last couple of times I have gone, those same employees had been talking very negatively as well. Whoever is in charge of this establishment needs to get new employees or at least train their current employees to be respectful. It makes me really sad to hear them talking about other women in this way. Do better.

I'm terrible with names, and then of course I lost the note! Thankfully, I finally found it because these ladies absolutely deserve the recognition. A huge shoutout to Irene, Ashley, and Yvette. They provide some of the best customer service I've experienced in retail. They are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely know how to make your shopping experience enjoyable. Let's be honest--Fabletics isn't the cheapest brand out there, but it's hands down my favorite when it comes to quality, comfort, and fit. I've been wearing Fabletics since the brand first launched years ago, and I love that I can still walk into a store, try things on, and get personalized help from such an incredible team. Shopping online can sometimes feel overwhelming when you're trying to put outfits together, but Irene, Ashley, and Yvette make the process so easy. They always have great recommendations and truly go above and beyond to help you find pieces you'll love. This is by far my favorite Fabletics location because every time I visit, the staff is consistently welcoming and helpful. I just wanted to make sure these ladies know how much I appreciate the wonderful experience they create every time I walk through the door. Customer service like this is hard to find, and they deserve all the recognition!

She's so positive and friendly, it makes my shopping experience so much more enjoyable. The dressing rooms are large and comfortable, it's really easy to try things on. Something weird happened with my online order, and Yvette, Ashley, and Jameli (I hope that's how it's spelled!) got it figured out. It's great to see communication between coworkers that gets the job done. Thanks so much!!

The new store, now on the second floor, after the OG Fashion Valley Banana Republic on the first floor (now Versace in that space?) closed, is beautiful. I'm digging the rebrand - "Banana Republic Atelier". The customer service is impeccable and the salespeople very friendly and kind. There are welcoming comfy lounge chairs throughout. They remind me of restoration hardware cloud couches! Very comfy. Coffee table books galore to look at, while your spouse tries on clothes. There was a vintage Bmw motorcycle displayed in the center of the store and the clothes within were classic and vintage cool. Linens were abundant- we are ready for summer! Luxe cashmere was available as well. There was a tall blonde and pretty woman salesperson who was incredibly thoughtful and kind- my tot was running around like crazy and she brought her a "treasure map" (the current design of their tissue paper for purchased clothes!), and offered us boxed waters at different temperatures. I wish I could remember her full name- J, Jacey? Another customer was very obviously European and was offered sparkling or still water- impressive customer service and a fun tailored experience to shop in. I wanted to give feedback because this was probably the nicest shopping experience I have ever had- the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff was better than any other luxury store I have ever been to- Gucci, etc. The quality of the clothes is impeccable- they last many years.

Think of it as a fun scavenger hunt where you might leave with some cute finds or appreciate the amount of patience you have. Pros: *Noticed a great selection of comfy, casual everyday clothes *Cute summer dresses and adorable jelly sandals that I was tempted to buy. I used to wear these as a kid. They are back in style! *Noticed a lot of sales and I'm sure you get better discounts as a rewards member (which I'm not). *Clearance prices can be fantastic if you're willing to dig, which I did not since I was pressed for time. *Other than the back clearance sections, the store looked clean, well-kept and I saw employees constantly folding and organizing. *Fitting rooms available if only I wasn't lazy trying on clothes *Did not notice any BO upon entering as others mentioned. Maybe they got the issue under control? *Wasn't crowded on a weekday afternoon *Convenient location next to Trader Joe's, Marshalls, and across from Mission Valley Mall. *Plenty of parking during slower times. *Good value for basics, denim, and family shopping. Cons: *The clearance section requires patience, determination, and possibly a snack break. It was probably the most disorganized part of the store since customers were wrestling through the clothes. I don't have much patience to dig through it so it was a bit overwhelming. *Sizing can be inconsistent with some extra smalls and smalls fit more like mediums or larges. *Bummer couldn't find the cargo pants I wanted. *Nothing really screamed "you have to buy me" besides the jelly sandals. *Parking can be competitive on busy days and weekends. All in all, Old Navy will test your patience. Just make sure to plan on having ample time to do your shopping. This last visit was meh so 3 stars it is!
