Dawn at Everything But Water in Fashion Valley was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. She helped me step out of my comfort zone and encouraged me to try styles I normally wouldn't pick -- and they ended up being so flattering! I felt truly taken care of and never pressured. I left so happy with my purchase and even more grateful for the experience. I will definitely be coming back to see her! read more

Dawn was so sweet and knowledgeable! Bathing suit shopping can be intimidating and she made the experience great! Thank you Dawn! I will be in again soon! The only problem was that I wanted to buy too much! read more

I was walking by Everything But Water as I was planning to leave the mall. For whatever reason, my gut told me to just go check it out and boy, am I glad I did! I have never enjoyed bathing suit shopping but with Dawn's expertise and keen eye, I was able to find a swimsuit that makes me feel SO GOOD about myself! She knew exactly what would work for my body and she provided several different brands, colors, and styles to really make sure we found the right fit. Not only was she a shopping wizard, she was super kind! The kind of person that makes you want to come back, even if just to say hello. Yes, the suit was expensive, but I look great and feel great in it, and that is worth every penny. Thank you Dawn! You are a total rockstar! read more

I visited Everything But Water in Fashion Valley a few weeks ago. The service provided by Elizabeth was extraordinary. I was very nervous about trying on swimsuits and cover ups, but she put me at ease and was extremely kind. She said "I got you" and helped me find items that I felt comfortable and confident in wearing while on vacation. The prices were reasonable for the quality of merchandise, and I will certainly go back. Elizabeth provided the kind of customer service that's so rare to encounter these days. She was genuine, patient, and encouraging. I cannot thank her enough for her help that day. read more

I'm going to Hawaii soon and need a bathing suit and hat. This is the only place to shop for a quality bathing suit. I usually don't like the way I look in a suit but their suits are flattering for all shapes! The sales associates are very helpful. They encourage trying on different styles. The prices are steep. I don't mind because you are paying for quality and style. Big win![ read more

I shop here frequently and have always enjoyed my shopping experience! Nice customer care and great service too! During my most recent visit, there were three associates and myself. I had a blue floral print bikini in my hand and the young associate approached me and said that they have one piece swimsuits. I replied that I don't wear them. She then said to me that they also have tankinis. I replied to her that I wear bikinis. I literally had the swimsuit in my hand that I was interested in purchasing. I told her I liked this style while holding the bikini in my hand. Keep in mind that I'm not a 20 something but I am a fitness instructor who enjoys wearing bikinis. I instantly felt age shamed and insulted with her comments. I did not purchase the swimsuit! I quietly left the store feeling sad about the entire incident. Customer care and support should include non bias as I did not judge the sales associate who is a plus size individual in her 20's working at a swimsuit store. Women of all ages and sizes should feel welcome and encouraged to select, purchase and wear any style swimsuit they want! read more

I came in a few weeks ago and Dawn was just amazing!!! She was so caring, sweet and so very helpful and informative!! She made an experience that for many can be stressful into an enjoyable time! read more

Dawn was the absolute best!!! Helped pick out what would look good on me and girrrrllll she was right about it! Can't wait to go back

Go see Dawn! She helped me shop for everything on my list for Cabo! The bathing suit quality is 10/10 especially for bigger chested women!

Searching for a swim suit with Marci's help was an absolute blast! Suits in every color, style and fabric imaginable, and plenty of options for cover-ups. Marci made this experience the best swim suit shopping trip ever! Can't stress enough how enjoyable the usually uncomfortable process of finding a suit was, and Marci even kept the store open a little later for me to make sure I had enough time to find the perfect one! It was such a great experience that I can't help but say that she deserves a raise and a bonus! read more

I had the best experience with Dawn at the store today! Her customer service was fantastic! I haven't bought a bathing suit in forever so having someone help me with fit, color, and various styles was amazing. She was super kind and totally honest, which is what I really needed. I went way out of my comfort zone today yet she made it super easy. I definitely recommend you go see her! read more

What women likes to shop for a swimming suit? I sure don't. Dawn made the experince so easy. She asked me a few questions then she started pulling suits. Once in the dressing room she evaluated then made suggestions on size and suits. It was so easy! I left the store so happy. I bought four suits! Dawn, Thank you for the customer service. It is rare these days. I was not pressured to purchase, you just want to give me what I needed/wanted. read more

Today I went in to do an online return at the store and felt dismissed by the manager. I'm not sure if she just didn't know how to do it and just lazy, but I was turned away and told to call customer service. She told me the system won't allow her to process the return because I began a return through ups. I showed her that I cancelled return and to please advise on how to properly process the return. Upon being talked over by her several times until I calmly asked her to let me finish my statement, she told me the only way to do it is to call customer service and disregarded anything I had to say. If you are working in a customer service based position, you should have some customer service skills. Talking over a repeat customer shows lack of care for the business you are representing. It seems to me that some training needs to be put in place for communication and processing. read more

Like many women I don't usually enjoy swimsuit shopping. I want to give a big shout out to Marcie and Zhira (not sure on spelling) for being so wonderful helping me look for a suit today. I'm all dolled up and ready for beach time in Kauai read more

Met Dawn the store manager , loved her passion for helping my wife find the perfect suit.

This place is excellent. Was the first one in the store this morning looking to buy a suit for Hawaii. Zahira who was so friendly and kind greeted me and helped me pick out a few suits I probably never would have tried on that I ended up falling in love with. Left with 5 suits! It's funny how one person can really make your day. I have never been to Hawaii and I am so excited to wear my new suits Zahira helped me find. She is the sweetest! read more

I randomly came to this store on a whim during an evening when I purposefully came to the mall to make holiday returns. Marcia was there to help me and she gave me the most amazing service! I just had my 4th baby, am still breastfeeding, and still getting back into a fitness routine. All that to say, my body does not feel like my own these days! I was not hopeful in finding a suit, but Marcia more than surprised me. After trying on a few one pieces, I found "the one", but instead of calling it a night, Marcia continued to bring me more suits that were flattering. Instead of just happening upon a suit that flattered my body, she helped me see that several suits looked good on me. She completely changed the shopping experience and I left beaming! I have never had such a positive bathing suit shopping experience, and I never thought I would say that still feeling postpartum! I will be back again and again to this store. Thank you, Marcia! read more

I initially had a great experience. The Sales Associate was very helpful in finding me styles for a large chest. However, one of the tops when I wore it the straps would not stay hooked and kept coming undone which resulted in me repeatedly flashing people... I took it back to the store and was told once something was worn they could not refund my money but they told me I could bring it to a seamstress to have it fixed. I spent $95 on the top and expect better quality at that price. I will no longer shop here and just shop at Nordstroms where they have excellent customer service and take returns when something is defective. read more

In my search for a summer swimsuit (which I dread!), I visited all of the surf type stores near the beaches. After 6 shops I almost gave up. Bathing suit shopping is the worst. I was cruising fashion valley mall and remembered Everything But Water. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Shana with a huge smile. She understood my frustrations and assured me we will find a suit!! She set me up in the fitting rooms with about 7 options. I quickly fell in love with every suit I tried on! The Becca brand is the best and fits my petite, but curvy shape. Shana made my entire experience wonderful and totally worth it. She even quickly ordered a size for me online so it could ship to my house before the cut off time in the day. I will never go anywhere else for a bikini! By far the best shop... ever!!!! read more

This is the only place I go for swimwear and will continue to go to. Patrice was beyond helpful at picking out a swimsuit for me and was genuinely happy to do so. They have a variety of sizes for different body types without having to compromise on style. I always leave satisfied here! read more

Fantastic experience! My fiancé and I went here and I was helping her pick out some bathing suits. Aida - guessing that's how it's spelled - was amazing. She was fun, energetic, and really dedicated. She kept picking out suits and checking in and giving advice to us in a manner that made us want our visit to be three people deciding - not just us two. Seriously, I hope this doesn't get taken down as a lot do on Yelp and mostly the good ones. Regardless, we found a couple perfect suits and our shopping experience in general was really good. Aida was at least half of that experience. read more

I worked with Shaina. I came in to shop for my wedding, looking for a pair of bottoms that fit my wide hips and larger thighs. I told her my problems with other bathing suits, and she said "We'll find something for you." She immediately started pulling items, and stacked up my room with things I asked for and things I didn't. She was honest and heartfelt. You can tell when people are just doing their job and when people love their job. Shaina loves her job, and she's good at it. Everyone in there makes you feel comfortable, and there so many cuts and styles you're bound to find something you love. What a great shopping experience. I dread bathing suit shopping, and I had such a fun experience with Shaina at Everything But Water Fashion Valley. read more

This is my second time buying something from this location. The girl who helped me today was very nice & Helpful. The store draws you in because it is very nicely put together and even tho some of the bathing suits are place high up out reach, there is always someone willing to help. Swimsuit shopping is something I do not enjoy doing for so many reasons. This past weekend I went swimwear shopping at the fashion valley store in San Diego California and I had the best experience shopping for swimwear. Thanks to Shana for the incredible customer service and for being so understanding, patient and helpful and for selecting all my beautiful swimwear. Shana thank you so very much for being so helpful you made shopping for swimwear a breeze. read more

These lovely ladies couldn't be bothered to help and took no interest in whether I found a suit or not. Perhaps I'm spoiled by other locations that make it their purpose to suggest suits for all shapes, sizes and ages. Disappointed in my experience here. read more

I just wanted to give recognition to Shana For helping me pick out a bathing suit for my trip. They didn't have the size there and she ordered it online for me. I normally hate swimsuit shopping but Shana made the process so easy! She listened to what I wanted and showed me lots of options. After I tried a few on, she heard what I liked and didn't like and brought me more suits that complimented my body type. She made me feel like I was the only customer in the store, even though she was assisting multiple people at once. I very rarely leave reviews, but Shana was so above and beyond that everyone should know about her! I walked away with a new suit that makes me feel totally confident. This is where I'm doing all of my swimsuit shopping from now on! read more

I was at the mall back in April shopping for my upcoming Hawaii trip. I bought a cover up that I got so many compliments on during my trip. I found myself explaining to everyone where I bought it and about my shopping experience I figured I should leave a yelp review too! I was at the store near closing time and there was only one associate working and there was a few customers in the store. Brandi really made sure everyone in the store felt welcomed and that we had her full attention. I tried on a few cover ups but was really stuck between sizes on one. Brandi ran back and forth grabbing various sizes for me to try on and in the end helped me pick the best fitting size. Overall I would return to this store if my shopping experience could be so easy and welcoming every time! read more

Best swim suit buying experience ever. Shana was wonderful, so helpful! Ask for Shana she will take care of you.

I swim about three hours per week. Their $330 bathing suits will last less than one year in chlorine.....do the math. If you want to be seen, buy this. If you want to work out regularly, look elsewhere (ie. Nordstrom is less expensive). read more

Worst suits and customer service. Never buy from them. They cheat the consumer. Their suits are not even made to be worn.

One of the best sales help in a bikini store I have ever had. I worked with shayna and she went above and beyond. She must have pulled at least 15 suites and all with a smile. She brought me new sizes as needed and a fair and honest opinion on them all. If every store had sales help like her it would be a dream. read more
