Cute boutique! I walked in and instantly fell in love with this dress. Vanny helped me walk out of the store feeling confident and excited. Great price for this gem. I'll be back. read more

Pretty Please Boutique - Women's Clothing Near Me - San Diego, California

I realized I posted this on google and not here, so I felt the need to add it to yelp as well. This is possibly my FAVORITE boutique in San Diego. The clothes are super cute, they're always rotating through different pieces and they have a great variety. The quality is good and the prices are reasonable. The jewelry options are also great. Lots of different pieces and every time there's something new. But truly the highlight is the women who work here. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. They are helpful but also do a great job of "reading the room" and knowing if you are looking for more attention or just good on your own. They hype you up when something is cute without trying to push everything you try on to you to make a sale. I almost never walk out without having bought something. A few months ago I had honestly one of the most special shopping experiences ever. Brenda was working and it was towards the end of the day so it was quiet. I told her what I was looking for and she pulled some really great options. We ended up having just the very best talk about some wonderful things going on in both of our lives. She's truly so genuine, kind and helpful. I could seriously go on and on. Thank you for always being a great store, and especially thank you for yesterday. I couldn't have had a better experience. read more

The employees are so kind and helpful! I am a center director at a nearby preschool and was looking for donations to help my teachers feel extra special when I stopped by Pretty Please. They donated two lovely pieces of jewelry and made those teacher's day! Such a fun selection of items and we will definitely be sending people their way for any accessory or clothing needs! read more

Love this place! The woman helped me pick out 3 dresses and a pantsuit for such good prices... I highly recommend this boutique.

I've been a loyal customer of Pretty Please for years--even back when they had a location in Carmel Mountain. I've always loved their clothing and have supported them time and time again (as shown by my punch cards with 32 punches, representing $1,600 spent just on those cards alone). That's why I was so disappointed by the customer service during my visit today. I asked if they could hold a few dresses for me while I quickly browsed neighboring stores--including Daisy Blue, their sister store--and Brenda told me they could only hold them for 30 minutes. It was 4pm on a slow Tuesday afternoon, and they don't close until 6pm. That kind of rigid, impersonal policy--especially toward a long-time customer--felt dismissive and completely out of touch. As if that wasn't bad enough, I received their April birthday discount email at the beginning of this month, which was sent to over 350 recipients without using BCC. That means every customer's email address was exposed to everyone else on the list--a serious breach of privacy and basic email protocol. It's careless and unprofessional, and it shows a lack of respect for their customers' personal information. Between the poor customer service and the privacy violation, I can no longer support this business. I'd recommend shopping elsewhere--there are plenty of small businesses that respect and value their customers both in-store and online. read more

For years I have been wanting to update my wardrobe and don't really know what I was doing!! I went to Pretty Please in the Del Mar Highlands and I am sooo happy with the clothes that I purchased and the help that I got in the store from two amazing women. I honestly feel like a new person in these beautiful clothes and I get compliments all the time!! What a gem of a store we have in our community!! Thank you Pretty Please!! read more

If I could give zero starts I would. Brenda is disgustingly disrespectful and i walked out of the store feeling so ashamed. Do not shop there whatsoever. If she is the so called manager why didn't you tell me there is a return policy ? I went back the second day after buying bras and she looked at me and said we don't do returns. Well why didn't you tell me that? Also she told me she was waiting on me to shop. I'm sorry? Who do you think you are? I will not be shopping back here and neither should anyone else. read more

always the place for special items for my family. Brenda is awesome and pays close attention to what I'm looking for.

Best clothes ever! My favorite boutique with the best stylists. Great for all ages, great quality and a great selection. Luvvv this place

My favorite boutique to shop at! Gorgeous selection of clothes. Prices are reasonable for the quality too! Brenda is absolutely amazing and hand picks my clothes knowing what I like and would fit the best! She even got a dress in my size from another store same day and did an emergency delivery for my event! read more

Great store! Love the fashions and service! Brenda, the manager, is great at styling!

Well I used to like this store until I saw the same shirt being sold at UTC for HALF the price. Hell no. I am so mad I ever shopped here. Avoid this place if you don't want to get ripped off. Who knows how much they have stolen from me at this point. So disappointing. Taking my business elsewhere to honest businesses. read more

Great clothing options in such a small store. My wife always finds deals here that are great quality and fit well. Check in to get a deal! read more

I recently took my 13 year old to Pretty Please looking for a dress for a Bat Mitzvah. We have purchased a few dresses online and when they arrived they were both too big and did not fit well at all. We tried UTC Mall and really didn't have any luck for a 13 year who is 5.11!! We walked into Pretty Please the night before Thanksgiving and were greeted with so much help. I was very impressed by the customer service that we beyond, thoughtful, patient and accommodating. The staff were conscious of my daughters age being thoughtful of what was appropriate for her age. We ended up buying the perfect dress, jeans and a jacket for my daughter and I bought a dress and sweater. We are huge fans of this store - a great local place. read more

I usually go to the Pretty Please in Coronado when I'm in town, but it was going to be out of the way and this one was on the way out of town. As usual, picked up some fun dresses that I can't wait to wear! I feel like the shop here is a little smaller than the one in Coronado, but there is a big parking lot for the mall which makes it much easier. I wish I had seen the deal to get 10% off through Yelp! Arg. Next time. read more

I tried to return a shirt because when I got it home I noticed one of the front seams was torn. When I tried to return it, the sales person lectured me about their return policy being exchanges only. I explained to her that the item was defective and I should receive a refund no matter what their policy is. She continued to reiterate the return policy in a very demeaning manner. In the end I agreed to exchange it for a similar shirt, but I would not shop in this boutique again. read more

Clothes selections are abundant here. However, they don't carry too many sizes of the same item so when a small is sold, you're best option is to buy a different color, if available, or get a size higher (or smaller). It's rare that they carry size XS. Make sure you check in to get a discount. You'll need it since some of their items are oober pricey. Other Pretty Please locations may carry the same item, but price is inconsistent between stores. read more

Lovely boutique filled with great finding at affordable prices. My favorite part is the jewelry. Nice, pretty, charming with any overdose of sexiness (this is not a Bebe store!). It is very boutiquey, so all items coquettishly displayed. Clothes are really pretty, I never find anything I don't like. Colorful tank top collection is higher quality than other stores like a Forever 21, and more color assortment. Full of elegant chic yet casual clothes. A paradise for feminine women who don't try to be sexy yet want to appear nicely put. Great customer service. read more

I love this place! The prices are decent and they have the brand, Lush, from Nordstrom. The staff is super nice and friendly. This store makes me want to be more of a boutique shopper. Plus, their shopping bags are pretty and they wrap your items in "Pretty Please" tissue paper. Love it! read more

What a surprise it was to go inside this boutique and discover such an awesome selection. At first I avoided it because I thought that it was for a more mature and.or hippie clientele but one day a few months ago something caught my eye in the window and I went it to check it out! They've got awesome maxi brands like Sky and a ton of cute jewelry and tops-I could do some serious damage in here! It does lean more towards the beachy and flowy, but there was definitely some adorable dresses and skirts I'm gonna have to pick up. So far I've purchased a few tops and a dress from here that I've gotten a ton of compliments on. It's small and bit crowded with items so give yourself plenty of time to browse the selection. There's a few other options, plus a cute shoe store here in the highlands, enough to make a girls day out of it and grab some lunch nearby! read more

I wanted to write a review about the Hillcrest location but I couldn't find a listing on yelp.... I have never been to the Del Mar location. I've only shopped at the Hillcrest store, and I have shopped.... This boutique has such a great selection at great prices. I hosted a girl's night shopping event before Christmas. My friends and I had such an incredible time. They keep asking me when I will host another... Kate and Clarece were so helpful dressing us all up. I highly recommend planning a girl's shopping event. They close the store and let you bring in food and drink. It's the best kind of girl's party!!! read more

Great finds at reasonable prices! I frequent the Carlsbad and Del Mar locations. Although if something isn't available at one location they are great about sending it over from another location Staff are helpful and super friendly! I've brought family and friends in and they love it too! I would have given 5 stars, except the dressing areas are limited and it gets crowded quickly! I avoid weekends! read more

I want to write a review for the sister store that is next door called Daisy Blue. I bought a beautiful dress there that I saw in the window and it was major love at first site. Wore it once and the neckline started to roll over and expose the under lining... Disappointed and desperate I returned but they were sold out everywhere (It's that fabulous of a maxi)... The store owner went above and beyond and had my dress repaired with their tailor and now it is as good as new! Will definitely shop here again. Customer service like that is hard to come by! read more

Sue helped us shop today. She was great! We had a lot of fun and got some really cute clothes

i have been here twice, both times with amazing service. the first time the ladies hooked me up with a full outfit, down to the jewelry, all for under $60. the second time, i came after dinner with the ENTIRE fam, sorry fam, and the girl brought out the dress i wanted to try on, and another one, that i wasn't sure i liked. i tried on both, the one i choose stank, but the one she chose looked super duper, she had an eye for it. i bought it, (a gorgeous sequin thingy, short dress), for $50 and got it for a steal i think. she was very attentive, and very helpful, and the store is lucky to have her! thanks, i'll be back, since this store is a VERY cute place for a quick outfit for any occasion, casual to dressy! read more

First time here visiting from Hawaii with my friend, whose brother lives here with his family. I was immediately drawn by the beautiful fabrics and patterns on the clothes here. I like to feel clothes when I buy them and these clothes all felt so soft and nice. Today, though, I walked out with two pairs of artist collection socks. One "Birth of Venus" and one "Sunday Afternoon"! As an artist myself, I couldn't just leave without them. Keely, the salesperson working at the time was super nice and friendly with a great attitude! read more

Great little boutique in Del Mar which has cute affordable clothes. I came through here yesterday with a friend of mine who shops there regularly. Pro's: --Incredible amount of selection for what is a relatively small space. Most dresses are in a decent price range - think $40-60 but they do have some pieces that are over $100. --Helpful staff - definitely answer questions and make calls to find items at other stores if they don't have it themselves --They carry some brands I've heard of and other that I've never seen before - it's a good mix Con's: --It can get busy in here and they don't have enough dressing rooms when that happens --It can be hard to spot who actually works there as almost everyone in the store is dressed the same Overall, stop by if you are in the plaza or looking for a new place to shop read more

If you are looking for something fashionable and unique this is a great store. The prices are reasonable, the clothes are cute. Yes, you could probably find cheaper clothes at Forever 21, but if you hate shopping in malls like I do, this store is very convenient with locations in Carmel Valley & Carmel Mountain Ranch. To me, it's worth paying a few dollars more to avoid a crowd. The staff is very friendly. They get new items all the time. I can always find something at this store. BEWARE!!! Five day return policy and 30 day exchange only if they have the same item in stock at time of exchange (which is usually not the case) This store seems to have a quick turn over of items. Knowing this, I am always careful when I buy here. read more
