(I was on a Zooey Deschanel fashion kick back then and saw her wearing them in "500 Days of Summer"- so shoot me!) Flash forward to almost exactly two years to the date, and I pop into Icons. I still have said necklace on my mind and to my shock it is still in the store and marked down to $30 (from $120 originally). I take the necklace up to the store cashier and tell her my story. She tells me that the owner rotates the jewelry and she just put the necklace back up for display that week. I felt so lucky to find the necklace again and to be able to purchase it. Plus, the cashier was lovely. Icons is a lovey store if you happen to be in Encinitas browsing. If you are looking for something casual to kick around at for the beach or dressy for work, Icons is definitely worth a look. Instead of looking like Zooey Deschanel, I look like a North County Greek Goddess.

The clothes are super cute, they're always rotating through different pieces and they have a great variety. The quality is good and the prices are reasonable. The jewelry options are also great. They are helpful but also do a great job of "reading the room" and knowing if you are looking for more attention or just good on your own. A few months ago I had honestly one of the most special shopping experiences ever. Brenda was working and it was towards the end of the day so it was quiet.
