I had the same experience as a couple of the other reviews. The same person worked at both the PB and the Bird Rock locations. I was there about two months ago (June). It was awkward, silent, cold, no greeting whatsoever. I was browsing around the store, not even a hello, etc... at the time I was getting last-minute splurge outfits for a big trip, and I had like six or seven things on my arm. She still never spoke to me until I asked for a room, and barely had any emotion, kind of clueless. I spent a decent amount of money and just did not feel welcome at all. I would have been a good customer, but now I don't even want to go back even though it's closer than other stores. read more

I first discovered Bobbi Rocco last year when we visited little Italy coming from Scottsdale Arizona. They have the BEST pants for work and leisure. A wide variety of cute outfits and the price point is just right. The moment I walked into the store, the woman behind the counter gave me a glare--I could instantly feel the bad energy. Still, I decided to look past it and browse. While checking out, I noticed a display of rings near the counter. My daughter loves rings, and the sign read, "Plated in 18k gold," which told me they wouldn't tarnish or turn her finger green. The price was $20, which I thought was a bit outrageous, but I purchased one anyway. The employee who rang me up was incredibly rude, but I brushed it off. The next day, my daughter showed me her finger-- COMPLETELY GREEN after wearing the ring for just one day. Clearly, the ring was not what they claimed, and I now feel completely scammed. Great store but online it says they close an hour later than they actually do. I walked in a few minutes before the actual closing time. Apparently, they shut down their registers early at this location, even though their doors are open. I only wanted to buy an outfit. I had already tried on and knew exactly where it was at and she said her registers are already off. If your registers are off then you need to shut the door and also why are you not updating your store hours correctly? If it says you guys stay open till seven you should be staying open till seven, 20 minutes over here to go to the store a 40 minute round-trip wasted because they can't get their store hours correct or at least keep their registers open until they actually are closed. All she said was come back tomorrow... I already wasted 40 minutes. Do you think I'm gonna drive back here again? read more

It's in a cute, quaint location *right on the corner* and something about being in here just makes me feel like it's alright to treat myself, n so I do. Bobbi Rocco is my absolute go-to for biker short/bralette basics. Year 'round I can find em here! I came in here today just to take a quick peak (it's been a hot minute) and left with some memorable gear to add to my closet.. The girl who was working was so sweet and nice to talk to while i shopped around. I don't remember what her name was but I know that she is a dance studio teacher. They carry very unique pieces here for any occasion. TLDR: don't purchase here if you're uncertain or might ever want to return. Really sad to make this a 3 star experience but here's why. Saw this on a run one day, came in that Saturday after getting my nails done down the street. Sooo much cute stuff, spent close to $250 on great dresses, cute pants, fashionable tops. Returned one of the dresses a few days later, didn't love the fit at home in my own mirror. Their return policy is store credit only - I knew that during purchase. Fine, okay, nbd since there's a ton of cute stuff I'll figure it out. When I return I ended up finding a peach top, exchange for that. Results in like $50 credit, which again, no sweat because so much cute stuff and they get new stuff every week - I live close by so I knew I'd be back. Here's where we lose stars... she creates an "account" for me, and the credit goes on that. She asked for my ID to make sure my name was spelled right. They don't do phone numbers, which is absolutely baffling to me. My last name isn't the easiest to spell, admittedly. She hands me a receipt but says it'll also be in the system under my full name and I go about my merry way. I just went in today, a month later. Find a few more tops that I'm ready to get, when I have her search for my name and info... nowhere to be found. Even searching Jessica doesn't elicit any last name even REMOTELY close to mine. And can't search email because clearly something is spelled wrong. So now I'm out $50 over a clerical issue that I had no say or control over. Simultaneously, this snarky woman is like "can you just let us check out I have to go pick up my dog". Okay fine, I'm willing to wait but what about my time? Who's to say I wasn't on a time crunch today (which I was). So now I'm out time and money - not to mention the poor girl was a little overwhelmed and forgot to take off one of the sensors so had to come back again. Overall, lots of trendy, cute stuff that I get compliments on all the time but I'm going to be SUPER judgmental on anything I try on there from here on out. I'm hoping they can either find my account or out of good faith just resolve this for me moving forward. I want to love you Bobbi Rocco! Update... Monique spent several hours after I had left looking for my account and called me with the correct info. I'm still displeased that that's how it happened. Hopefully next time I'm here we won't have the same issue... will update my review then if that's the case read more

I've been to this store a few times. I would have never come across it if it wasn't for my barre class. The boutique is right next to the studio barre! How perfect! It's all the motivation you need to keep going to class lol. Work hard, feel good, look good and find something cute to wear to reward yourself! They have a great selection of clothes and jewelry. But the best part is their customer service! The owner is very sweet and attentive, she truly cares about her customers. My first purchase here was a great experience. She went above and beyond to help me find the right dress. The day I found the dress I didn't have my wallet with me because I had come from my barre class. She was so helpful and so sweet about putting the dress on hold for me. They usually run out of sizes very quick, but the owner has always been very helpful and offers to look online or look to see if other boutiques in LA have it. I have had good experiences with Bobbi Rocco in general. My dad is from San Diego and I have been to La Jolla since I was a little girl, swimming on the reef and coming back full of sand and sunburns. That aside, my sister told me about Bobbi Rocco. There prices are reasonable and they have cute clothes and shoes. This recent experience was the first bad one I have had. I ordered the mule shoe in "Birch." Not only was the shipping super slow, when they did arrive, they were the wrong color- a "taupe" of sorts. I contacted Bobbi Rocco right away because they are usually really good about responding. They don't send a shipping label in case you need to exchange an item especially if the mistake is on them! I e-mailed them numerous times and did not get a response. Not even an "I'm sorry," or "here is 10% off of your next purchase," or "what can we do to fix this?" Nothing! Just crickets.. so I am done with Bobbi Rocco (tears rolling down face...) She was so friendly, she had a super positive attitude, and she was so put together. Hair, wardrobe, makeup, everything. It's so important when I go into a store that I feel comfortable and welcomed. $300 dollars later and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. She made the entire experience that much more enjoyable, a plus with the many cute clothes the boutique had. This pretension shop doesn't deliver. There is no sign at the register, nor does the cashier take the time explain that the store NEVER processes refunds under any circumstances. I returned two days after my purchase with a top that didn't fit right and a receipt. I checked the store for another item I liked, but found nothing. I was refused my return by the teenager behind the counter and told that the no-refund policy can be found on the receipt once you've already purchased your item and it's now too late anyway. What kind of store refuses to give you your money back if you return within the specified amount of time with the receipt and no-one warned you prior to purchase?! I highly suggest you put a sign up or begin having your cashiers warn customers prior to purchase. If you are going to refuse our refunds you need to provide full disclosure BEFORE we purchase! read more
