I have shopped for years at Francesca stores in multiple store locations but I took my young nieces…read moreto shop in La Jolla and we stopped in and put a large order together but the computer was down at checkout. The initial employee was very apologetic and we were in no hurry but she insisted on holding our items and would not let me leave any form of payment but promised to call when the computers were working. We even went to lunch and came back because it was a graduation shopping trip for the girls and they really liked their items. No one ever called and when I phoned back less than 48 hours later I was told someone had called about all the orders on hold and if you didn't show up immediately your items were put back on the shelf. I double checked my phone and there were no missed calls or messages. It's sad that no one can use a calculator and take cash for sales when this happens and that a company doesn't care about the sale of merchandise. This was one of my favorite stores for 20+ years but I will never go back to any location because the manager in La Jolla was so rude when I called and did not care about making this sale or that it was a missed opportunity.

But, the kind employee at The Ascot Shop offered to check with the brand rep and would get back to me if they could order it. That same day he got back to me to confirm the size and he would be able to order it and it would be available in a week. The next week I got a text the shirt arrived. I went to pick it up and it's a very nice men's store. I told the employee how thankful I could get this because I wanted this style for my husband's birthday. Then he offered to put it in a box with a bow. I would definitely recommend this clothing shop for great brands and excellent customer service.
