I would give 0 star if Yelp has that option…read more I walked in to this store with my mom and aunts. My mom saw these sandals (Born) and wanted to try them on. She grabbed the one on the shelf which was exactly her size. At the time a male sales approached us and he said "can I get you any size?" I said to him, she's already trying on this one from the shelf. He replied "Please don't try it on if it's not her size, she might stretch out the shoe." I checked the sandal and told him "This is her size." Then he stayed quiet. My mom told told me there's a sign outside says 25% discount. I asked him and he said "It's only that particular band (I think it's called Earthlink) and they are all mixed in the shelves." When he told me this, he said it in a tone that's really disrespectful. Like talking to a kid. I spoke in Mandarin to my mom and told her this guy is very rude. Even though she liked the shoes, we do not need to buy them here. Overall, this place does have good quality or lets just say expensive shoes. However, the service was really bad and whoever that salesperson is needs to work on his attitude towards customers.

I wanted the shoes too but after taking them home and walking for one mile in what was supposedly the "walking shoes," I had blisters that actually scabbed and bled the following day. I realize that this is my fault for buying walking shoes that were obviously uncomfortable but to my defense I had only the stores 20 X 10 ft space to walk around and make a good determination in. Anyways, moral of the story is that I tried to return them the next day (with receipt to the same salespeople) and they didn't take the uncomfortable brand new shoes back. It sucked because i bought them for europe and then I was sent away from the store (that I had spent $500 at the previous day) with shoe inserts and a "sorry, we don't do returns if you wore them at all." It was the same salespeople from the previous day and they literally didn't care at all that I had large blisters.. BUT when I was spending $$$ they could have been my best friends... Oh sales people... I just think people should know this BEFORE buying shoes from this store. Their shoes are perfectly fine but their policy is plain rude. If I spend a ton of money there, they can afford to take the loss on one $70 pair of walking shoes even if that can't happen with every customer return (it's a small store). Anyways, if you find something here, chances are it will be online AND at nordstom for the same price and you can actually return them if they're uncomfortable.

I tried them on once indoors, then immediately returned them to the box and requested a return. This business does not answer their customer service email/returns email whatsoever. I had to call to arrange the return. After I shipped the shoes back, I received a call claiming the shoes had "dirt and grass" on them and that they would not process my return. This is inaccurate as the shoes were only tried on inside once and placed directly back in the box. I spoke with a representative named Megan, who said she would escalate the issue and call me back. She never did. Over the past two months I have called numerous times. Each time I am told Megan is unavailable and will call back, but I have never received a follow-up. I have never in my many years of online shopping have experienced such horrible customer service.

Nordstrom Rack in la jolla is a discount retail store located in the shops at la jolla village,…read moreoffering a wide selection of name brand clothing, shoes, and accessories. Pros: This is a solid spot for finding discounted name brand items if you are willing to look through the racks. There is a decent variety of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories, and you can sometimes find really good deals depending on timing. The store is organized by section, which makes it easier to browse compared to some other discount stores. It is also in a large shopping center, so it is convenient to pair with other errands or food stops nearby. Staff are usually helpful when you need assistance with locked items or sizing, and checkout is generally quick even when it is busy. Cons: The biggest issue is inconsistency. Some visits have great finds, while other times the selection feels picked over or limited. It also gets very crowded, especially on weekends or during sales, which can make shopping feel a bit hectic. Parking can also be annoying during peak hours since the plaza is shared with many other stores. Verdict: Overall, this is a reliable place for discounted shopping if you are patient and go at the right time. Weekdays or off peak hours are usually the best for selection and a smoother experience.
