This is my favorite Bloomingdales branch. The only downside is they are sometimes out of stock of items so it could be a long wait. It is inconvenient if you are planing a last minute shopping. The staff however are professional and helpful. The top floor has a very unique selection of blazers and business women outfits that can't be found anywhere else. This is why I am in love with this branch.

Bloomingdales the place to shop for all your high end products and clothing. This store had some really nice window displays. Looked around the mens clothing and they have some really unique and cool items. Loved the mens velvet blazers in deep purple. One of my favorite looks for and festivity. Male employees in this department were very welcoming and helpful. Greeted us and asked if we were finding everything. At the mens perfume counter the employee was very helpful with our purchase. She also gave suggestions to the r mens cologne we might like. Tested a few on cards and made our final selection. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed they cary Jack Black products for mens beards, so I had to get some. They had a special seasonal package, so I went with that. Got a free sample with purchase, a plus. Found the perfect gift for that bearded someone we have in the family. Plus, he really like the Jack Black products. Shoe department had some really cool shoes and boots. Handbag department was ok. I expected to be blinded by all the blinged out purses with gems and all. I must have been in the wrong section. Didn't find anything that stood out to me or called my name. Maybe next time. 1 Star deducted because you would think in a high end store like this you would at least be greeted at the door when you enter. Not a soul at the entrance. Finally a couple of employees, however, not very welcoming. Yikes

Stopped by this Bloomies while I was waiting for traffic to die down after a hike I'd done earlier. I was warmly welcomed by the staff at the perfume counter and they treated me like a prized customer, even though I'd never been there before and I was dressed in hiking clothes. I left with a bottle of high end perfume and a bunch of free samples created by my fragrance specialist Sarah Bedsole! Definitely go here if you're looking for one of a kind perfume. Sarah asked if I was looking for anything in particular and I immediately asked for Baccarat rouge 540. I tried it two days prior at Bloomingdale's South Coast Plaza and could not stop thinking about it. I fell down a time warp on Perfume TikTok earlier that week and asked Sarah about at least 10 different fragrances I heard smelled good and she took me on a perfume tour of all of these fragrances, the different perfume houses and created samples for the ones that called my name. On top of all of the help from Sarah and the crew, it was also a fun time! It was like I knew Sarah already and she and the others made my friend and I feel like we were exclusive V.I.P customers. I frequent Bloomies South Coast Plaza and while they are always nice and pleasant, I found the Fashion Valley crew to be fun and engaging and will be back.

I went in to return some pants that did not fit great on my son. He wasn't with me so decided to try to return for store credit. Then I'd bring him back on the weekend to get a different size. The policy advises I had 90 days and I purchased with my Bloomingdale's credit card. Figured maybe not get refund back to card but a store credit. I purchased pants on 2/28/2022 (exactly 60 days). We don't live that close to this mall so yes too us a while to get back. Just bummed they wouldn't honor what the policy said. I'll think twice about shopping here. I'll most likely go straight to the source for my products such as Polo Ralph Lauren online.

The answer to shopping at Bloomingdale's is to go into the store ! Customer Service was amazing was amazing with my return ! The YSL counter exceptional ! Thank you Maria!!

I love Bloomingdale's too, one of my favorite high-end store. I usually shop online and pick up from store. I love the Tory Burch, Kate Spade,MK, CK and Aqua designer brands but they have over maybe 100+ vendor boutique shops or shops-in-shop for a wide array of brands like Gucci, and other high ends. The customer service here is a hit or miss! Oh no biggie for me, besides, I am the kind of shopper that like to walk in, get what I want, and walk out. This review is for the beauty department. I am literally like super obsessed with Laura Mercier. First, they were cruelty free and the basic principle is their makeup line is the flawless finish. I can't live without these: Tinted Oil-Free Moisturizer, Concealer and Loose Setting Powder. I was pleased with my skin after and didn't break out which is rare with a new product, but it just left my skin feeling dewy. For my lippies I love the Chanel and Dior, and Lancome too (love the gifts with purchases) Basically, overall shopping is just OK. Bloomies is an upmarket Macy's. and currently owned by Macy's, Inc. Highly recommend to shop here if you have lots of $$$. A great place to visit, shop and eat (they have a small Cafe/restaurant called 59th & Lex Cafe. It's local hidden gem and they have delicious extensive menu. Yum-O! Lastly, checkout their Nespresso bar you'll be greeted warmly at least. and you can try samples of anything they have in stock. Speaking of stock, the cafe area is nicely stocked with different types of sweeteners, and the cute little cups make sampling coffee seem so high end! I guess one day I have to ditch my Keurig and kick it to the curb! Lol! This location is in the heart of Fashion Valley Mall. Oh Btw, this store is clean, beautifully laid out and I love the iconic black-and-white checkerboard floor. And Love the little brown bags. Recent shopping experience here was my Bulova gorgeous watch my early birthday and Christmas gift at 25% off, Sweet!!! You can also apply and sign up for their Loyalist program and you'll get a reward it's that easy. and you can use it at Bloomies outlet as well. Happy Shopping!!! Quote: I am not a Shopaholic, I am helping the economy. And did ya know that : Women who spend a lot of time shopping live longer and are less likely to suffer from depression? Enough said- I will live a long life! LOL!!!

(I got the 3rd price at a Frida Kahlo look alike contest and one of the prizes was a $25 certificate to purchase something at the Bazaar del Mundo in Old Town). So excited to go back to Old Town with no traffic, not too many tourists and not too many expectations. And then found Ariana. Nice name for a woman and not bad for a store filled with surprise after surprise. If you like colorful and different type of clothes, this is your place. My first thought was that they were mostly catering older ladies, but the pieces are very versatile and several age groups friendly. They all have in common cool colors, pattern and whimsy! I spent a long time in the second floor (where the sales are, trying to maximize those $25!) and tried out wonderful dresses with no pressing, no hassle, all the time of this world. What a pity that everything I liked was either too small or too large, but equally pretty. Eventually I got a very cool tote bag with inspirational messages (by artist Kelly Rae Roberts, coincidentally one of my favorites) that was 50% off plus the cutest pair of socks depicting a very funny (who would say considering she always posed so serious) Frida Kahlo! Prices are touristy but check the upper floor for deals. The ladies working there are amazing, very helpful and have all the time the customer wants. I felt like I was invited to a home party surrounded by beautiful objects with warm women. Only missing thing for me there was a cup of tea and some cookies...I would have stayed even longer. So grateful for this prize and for discovering Adriana. I will come back and check the collection of lavender, purple and fuchsia wallets and also the Mexican silver jewelry. It was a feast for my eyes.

These two older saleswomen really made our visit sad and we won't be back. I understand, as I work in retail, how it is to have customers coming in right before closing but I would never be so rude. A simple "hello, welcome in, please be aware we will be closing at 6" would have been fine! Not even a smile or a response to my greeting from either of them... Just evil stares. I stopped into the Johnson House and immediately wondered why I had never bought anything there. Everything in there is so fabulous. There was a purse there that was so shiny and pretty, and it kept calling to me: "You want me. Buy me. I'll be your Christmas present. I love you and I know you love me." Well... how could I deny that little purse a forever home? I bought it and used it that very night at a Christmas Eve dinner party. Besides the fact that parking is a frank issue in this location, what with currently unenforceable requirements to pay for parking (either managed by the private lot or by the City), assuming this is also meant for people who are just stopping by to drop something off, this location is small but very quaint. It is very prone to being very crowded. However, the décor is a worthy sight for sore eyes: it truly is a lovely setup they have. I encountered a couple of lovely women who appeared to be running the shop, and inquired about how much clothing they're willing to take. It seems that they can only take a heavily limited amount of such, and I was able to drop off a kitchen trash bag's worth of clothes. I didn't complain, because I understand (at least mostly, since I fully realised and acknowledged it shortly after I left) the limited capacity they have to work with. The entire transaction was painless and easy. I do recommend stopping here for the reasons above, and to be reasonably wary of the environment you will be getting yourself into. I plan on coming here again if I ever have to donate anything in particular.

The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. Pros: *Surprisingly easy parking (a rare mall miracle) *Huge mix of stores from bougie to budget - Louis Vuitton, Coach, Hollister, Macy's, Nordstrom's, Neiman Marcus, H&M, Zara, and Gucci to name a few *Open-air vibe with palm trees; very San Diego aesthetic with a tropical feel; complete with fountains and artistic landscaping *Solid food options with a food court, cafes, and kiosks, Cheesecake Factory, Seasons 52, and my fav, True Food Kitchen *Clean and well-maintained and easy to wander around *There's a lot of variety here to keep you entertained *They have seasonal events that is a nice addition to shopping Cons: *Felt oddly empty for a Sunday..kinda eerie but it may be an introvert paradise *Dangerous for your wallet (you will overspend) *Some stores seem like they're hanging on by a thread *Malls just don't hit like they used to despite the pros- mainly because everything has gone up!
