I want to take the time to give a shout out to Rey At the fashion valley Macy's men's department. I never walked into a department store and received excellent customer service. I walked in and start looking at the suits and within 5 minutes, Rey came out of his office and asked if I needed help. I told him I was looking for a suit for a funeral. He acknowledged what I said and he recommended a black suit. He asked if I knew my size and I told him what I wore a year ago. He gave me a 2 jackets to try on and 4 pants. He wanted to make sure I had a comfortable fit so he gave me various options, which in the first time, I felt he went above and beyond. I told him I needed a bigger size for the pants and he told me to wait in the waiting room and he'll get me it. WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. He didn't know if I was going to buy the suit or not and he already went above and beyond. I did buy the suit and love it. I really appreciate Rey as my personal stylist. Great store! Was alot of fun trying different perfumes in the first floor and everyone was nice offering to help me, great deals and prices!

I enjoyed my visit to Macy's Fashion Valley store this past weekend. The returns department made the necessary adjustments in quick order, and off I went in search of items to fulfill the shopping list I hadn't been able to accomplish through their online store. On the 2nd floor I found items by CeCe, DKNY, CK and Levi Strauss, all great finds and reasonably priced! Levis jeans in a 32" length-hooray! The salespersons were wonderful! I left items in their care while I shopped other departments, returning occasionally to switch one item for another. This extra effort on their part meant I wouldn't tire myself out carrying items all around the store, and I stayed 1 1/2 hours until I had all that I needed. Great brands. Reasonable pricing. Plenty of customer service help. Private parking lot, trolley and bus. read more

He was amazing ,an abolutely lovely human, knew the right suit and cut, worked with our budget and my sons suit was perfection. that part was FIVE stars. Cons: Reaching any one to follow up has been absolutely impossible. I have tried calling, Ive been hung up on, sent to voice mail, redirected to a corporate number that just rings, left on hold and more often then not, no answer at all. My family and I recently visited Macy's at Fashion Valley Mall while shopping for my daughter's 8th grade graduation. We first stopped in the shoe department so she could find shoes to match her dress. While trying on shoes, she accidentally left her Coach purse behind. About 15 minutes later, after we had already moved to another department, she realized it was missing. We were frantic searching throughout the store when we met Taylor, who works in the cosmetics/perfume department on the first floor. From the moment we explained the situation, Taylor was incredibly kind, compassionate, and proactive. She directed us back to the shoe department and told us who to ask, but what impressed me most was that she didn't stop there. A few minutes later, Taylor personally came upstairs to help us search. She went out of her way asking multiple employees, sales associates, and staff members if anyone had seen my daughter's purse. She truly made it her mission to help us. Eventually, Taylor checked with the Starbucks located near the shoe department on the second floor, and thankfully someone had turned the purse in there. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Taylor. I was completely distraught, and she stepped in with such professionalism, urgency, and genuine care. In a time when customer service can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, Taylor reminded us what exceptional service truly looks like. A friend of mine bought me a bottle of Chanel, blue and it does not smell at all like Chanel. Blue. It's been past their 30 day B. S policy because I already have 2 other Chanel. Blue bottles at home when I finally opened it up and use it for a few times it does not smell at all like Chanel, blue, I called them up. And they told me about their 30 day policy. No returns. Rebeca at Macys in the dress section upstairs was absolutely amazing! My mom was shopping for her 60th birthday outfit and Rebeca went above and beyond to make the experience special. She took her time helping my mom pick out dresses, styled different outfit options, and encouraged her to try on new looks. I was happy to learn that Macy's ended its business relationship with Donald Trump back in 2015 after his remarks about Mexican immigrants, stating that his comments did not reflect Macy's values -- and that really matters to me. On top of that, the service I received today was outstanding. Marco in housewares was fabulous. Andrea and Doreen in outerwear went above and beyond to help me find pants that actually fit. The Macy's here at Fashion Valley is mostly my go-to place when I'm looking for my dresses. But the most reason I go to Macy's is for my Son's G-Shock watches. Here at this Macy's location at Fashion Valley, they mostly have the G-Shocks that my Son wanted, they have a nice wide selection of G-Shocks here. I am glad that Macy's carries good G-Shock watches. They are watches that are WATER RESISTANCE and SHOCK RESISTANT , very good quality, as in a durable watch that really lasts so long !!! My Son started to wear G-Shocks when he was 5 years old and all the G-Shock watches we bought here at Macys Fashion Valley still haven't stopped working yet. The associates at this Macy's location are very Friendly and very helpful whenever my Son is choosing his watches here. I visit Macys to return glasses from Sunglass Hut I believe. level 1 next to the man section. I had a gift receipt , I was given the glasses Sunday night and they were purchase thar same day. The manager deny me service claiming the glasses had a scratch and that I had to go to the place it was purchase because she can't loose her inventory there. I never shop at Macy's but was there since my mom wanted to go. I'm so glad I did because I ended up finding a lot of items I loved for both myself and my mom thanks to Xochilt and Lynne! They helped me get some beautiful pieces at amazing prices by showing me the best way to take advantage of the current sales promotions, Macy's card, and Star rewards. It was so nice to be able to save some money, especially these days where everything is so expensive. Both of these ladies went out of their way to ensure that I had a wonderful shopping experience. On Saturday around 5 o'clock, I was at Pandora. Everyone working there was so sweet. While I was waiting in line to check out, I noticed they were dealing with a difficult situation involving a customer. They called a Macy's manager for assistance, but she was extremely rude to the girls and the guy who were working there. One of the employees tried to explain the situation, and she spoke to them as if they were beneath her. The manager was a short Asian woman with somewhat long hair who appeared older. I really hope someone addresses this, because no manager should ever speak to their employees that way it's very unprofessional. I overheard she's the manager of the jewelry department. Her behavior alone would make me not want to shop at Macy's again, but I would definitely return to Macy's Pandora because of the wonderful staff there. read more

My mother and I were in fashion Valley this past Friday march 6 and I needed perfume and was rushing to get out of the area before traffic it was already four . I raced over to the cosmetic department to get help with perfume unfortunately the scents cost a bit of an allergic reaction when eye tearing in my nose running but they helped me so nicely and efficiently I was able to get my J'adore perfume I believe two or three people were helping us they were so nice and even one person when it got me a box of Kleenex I used out my travel tissues in my purse. Thank you to everyone over there at Macy's in the perfume counters so quick efficient helpful and I appreciate the couple of samples my mom's perfume in mine it was great for a purses. I apologize for not getting any names I'm a name person but we were both exhausted so what happens when you' are over 60 and my mom is over 80. Just okay. We found some great deals here but it wasn't set up like other Macy's where it was based on age group (except for the kids section). It was laid out by designer. So if you are power shopper, you really have to know your brands or you spend a lot of time trying to figure it out. The escalator in one direction was blocked off and it turned into a customer mess. We'd have wait until one direction of people were done and then try to go. It's really a 'one person at a time' escalator but if you didn't want to wait forever, you'd have to squish by. It started an argument which was totally unpleasant. Macy's, even if it isn't running, please open up the other direction to make it easier to navigate your store. read more

I just don't understand. Macy's sends me between 3 and 6 emails a day, every day. They fill up my inbox with spam that I do not have time to read. I am tired of deleting all of these spam emails. The same thing every day or two, filter the Macy's emails and just delete them unread. The best analogy I have is, a needy friend who calls you six times a day and wants a half hour of your time every time they call. Have these people no empathy for the poor people they barrage with spam emails. What does it take to get companies to be reasonable in the amount of your time they may expect to take up. Right now, they are behaving like a needy child, and I am very tired cleaning up the mess they make of my inbox. When salespeople ask me if I would like to provide an email or phone number to join up for rewards, I simply respond with the Macy's example. The reward I get arrives every day with more spam emails and texts. I am tired of having my time abused by careless companies that insist on filling up the trash folders. Macy's is so confusing and manipulative. I came in with a birthday coupon and a 25% plus star points for the Memorial Day sale. I asked the guy in the shoe department if I use my card do I get the discounts? He said I would have to go ask someone in another department. I did and the lady said everything should be loaded onto my credit card. So I went back to the shoe department and spent a half hour finding the ones I want. Went to scan them and no discount. The salesman said they were a different department due to finish line and that they are not affiliated with Macy's and none of the discounts work. so I spent 45 minutes going back-and-forth between departments and picking out shoes before they told me the truth would work in the shoe department. Went today to purchase a pair of tennis shoes and had the misfortune of being helped by NELSON. From the lack of courtesy, unwillingness to answer any questions, and of disinterest in making a sale, he ruined the whole shopping experience. It's not like the store was full of customers, and he was overwhelmed. I only asked him for one pair of tennis shoes, and he wasn't even willing to let me try both shoes. I had to explain that one foot is slightly bigger than the other, and after he rolled his eyes, I was able to try both. DO NOT GO TO THE STARBUCKS IN HERE, THEY ALMOST GOT ME POISONED!!!! There were these 3 girls working like I get it, they get really busy and i understand how they're feeling. I ordered a blended strawberry lemonade. And 3, it tasted nothing like blended strawberry lemonade. IT WAS BUBBLY AND TASTED LIKE SOAP! THIS IS A LAWSUIT AND A SERIOUS MATTER. I could've gotten sick but good thing I am smart enough to know if there's something wrong and ik my drinks really well. Those girls should be fired. I also asked for a refund cause I didn't pay for a soap drink but they were talking about "but you paid for the drink"... girl, I paid for blended strawberry lemonade, not a soap drink. I went into Macy's today to do some Christmas shopping, and when I went to pay I was attended by a person under the name Sergio, he started off by being very rude and disrespectful but I tried to ignore it but he then continued to try to steal my gift card. There was a promotion in store that if you spent $100 you would get a $20 gift card (Macy's money card) he gave me a paper saying that with that I would get the discount but I saw him scan a card and keep it. But I didn't think much of it so I started to leave the store and I heard other cashiers explaining to people about the discount and giving them a physical card not a paper so I asked an employee and they said that they were supposed to give a card not just a paper, and she called up Sergio asking him why he didn't give me a card and he went on to say he did give it to me and lie about it, thankfully the other employee was able to cancel that card and give me one but I would suggest you take precaution with Sergio because thankfully this time he got caught trying to pocket some money that isn't his but maybe there were other shoppers that weren't aware and he was able to steal from them. I hope Macy's at fashion valley can take some action on this issue because having employees such as Sergio isn't a good look or good for their workplace. read more

The last two times I have shopped at Macy's the item was not available in the store so it needed to be shipped. The first item took over two weeks after having been promised in four working days. The second item never arrived. I called DoorDash and they had never received the item from Macys. I called Macys and they said the item failed to ship. I guess no one would have let me know if I hadn't called. They asked me if I wanted a refund or a replacement. I asked for a replacement. I am not optimistic that I will ever see the item. read more

At the Home store today in Mission Valley doing a return of some very uncomfortable Skechers. Great place for returns as the cashiers are on top of it and not as exhausted as the ones in Fashion Valley. Always love coming into the store and just a heads up it is under cover in here.
