Grand opening
Ed M.

I thought I'd have to wait to visit one of these stores in another state and finally they opened one close to my area. Japanese fashion enthusiasts will be happy. I find their dry tech shirts a steal for the price and they have comfy hoodies and outerwear. The neat part of this store is the self checkout. You put your entire bag in a slot and it can scan everything in the bag at one time. Never seen that and it sorta floored me. Definitely coming back!

Grand opening weekend celebration!

Nice to have a Uniqlo open here at the Fashion Valley Mall. The clothing here has a fresh variety and good styles for the whole family! Staff here are very friendly and the prices are in the medium range as expected. Nice shop to visit!

I was looking for some cute outfits for my clients new baby boy and I feel like there were so many adorable choices I couldn't decide which ones to buy. I ended up buying quite a few outfits and bathing suits and the price was really great for the quality of the clothes. Bree the owner was there and packaged the gift so nicely for me. She was so helpful and sweet and you can tell she hand picks all the items in the store with such care. I am so happy to have found the perfect place to buy baby/kid gifts from that aren't so generic. She had such a great selection of wooden/cloth toys that I've never seen before tons of popular and more eclectic books and so many clothes for baby, kids and moms too! I'm excited to go back to buy stuff for my nieces and nephews!

The store is quite large compared to a lot of the other area Carter's which is good for variety. My biggest issue with this store, but really with most stores I just shop at carters a lot so I see it often, there are next to no boy clothes compared to girls! Boy moms want to dress up their kids too. We also want a closet full of clothes, but the stores sell next to nothing for boys! It is so frustrating and that is the reason why I online shop so much. This will continue to be the carters I come to the most but I will keep sticking to online shopping and be furious every time I come here since I am a boy mom.

Would give higher score but this is why: Customer service…read more Yes it really does matter. The two girls working tonight (Jan 13th) need more training. No matter how tired you are or what's going on in your personal life- always take care of the customer! Make them feel welcomed, comfortable, be friendly! It's a store where moms will be suckers and buy adorable clothes- hint: we're likely to spend more the friendlier you are! My boyfriend and I both left there with a really uneasy feeling. I only left with a purchase bc when you return something for store credit you HAVE to use it same day. Interesting but okay. I'm 39 weeks pregnant and getting over a terrible cold. Finishing my last minute "to do's" I walked in with a bag of 3 outfits I received for Christmas that had Carter tags on them. It was 6pm on a Sunday and like I said, super pregnant and getting over a cold I threw my hair up and put on the most comfy sweats I owned. This girl looked at me like I was white trash and trying to pull a fast one on her. Not even realizing one tag said Macy's she just responded "if it says Macy's it won't scan in our system" (thank you captain obvious i figured that much, just didn't realize it until i got there). I told her "oh no problem I can take it to Macy's, do you think I can return these for store credit please?" From there on out our interaction was so awkward and cold. She was extremely unfriendly and seemed super miserable and annoyed that I was in her store. After picking out two cute outfits we used our credit and left- I believe I was the one who had to say "thanks so much, have a good night". Now a few hours later I told my boyfriend "we should shop there now for the baby, the clothes were cute and good prices". He responded "i don't want to go back, the ladies working were so rude". And he is a very easy going guy and doesn't let much bother him. Overall the store was clean and organized which is important as well. Just a major bummer with the service- a staff that is cold and doesn't make a customer feel comfortable while shopping is bad news bears for business. :( This place sucks

As I entered this location, I saw jeans for sale at 50% off the tags. Great deal. The store had lots to chose from. I like shopping for jeans and shorts here. I got 3 pairs of shorts and a jean jacket for my daughter. I used my $10.00 and saved half of my total savings. Not bad. Great deals throughout the store. This store was very neat and clean. Very organized. Clothes were easy to find. They sell clothes for kids, men and women. There were two cashiers up front which made the line go faster. No long wait. I really like this location. There's plenty of parking in front.

I needed to purchase a wetsuit as I am not about to let this summer go by and not get into the "warm" San Diego waters. Water temps are about as high as it gets for out here right now, like in low 70s, so for me, thats still cold. I need at least a 4/3 wetsuit for that temp. Yes, I am a pansy and I know it. This place has a really nice section for wetsuits and also some great sales too. I made a beeline for the back of the store to check out what they had available. They have short wetsuits, 3/2s, 4/3s, some with hoods (I like those), some front zippered and some back zipped (this is my preference), children's wetsuits, men and women's also. I already knew what I needed so only had to try on two wetsuits (that was already too much lol - you are ALWAYS fighting wetsuits). Fitting rooms available here and then I went to work battling the wetsuits. I could fit the size 4 but my shoulders are a bit broader and the zipper wasn't like easy to pull, so I went with the size 6. The cost for 4/3 wetsuit here was $150, a pretty good deal. I was just at REI looking at an O'Neill 4/3 and it was over $400! I also picked up some shorts and a bikini top and everything here is severely discounted. Sweet!! Service guy working here was super nice and helpful. He showed me the size chart for wetsuits and helped me get a fitting room and rung me up. Great place to get some water apparel here and know they have wetsuits too. They also have shoes here but not too many options in sizes. They also have bags and other items too (I forgot to look at a wetsuit hood they had on sale here - so will come back). Overall. this place was great! I'll be back! But know the parking is a disaster here, the lot is super tight, just FYI.

When we walked in, there was lots of sales being advertised on a lot of the racks when we walked in. Definitely makes a big difference since the clothing products here are definitely on the pricier end. My first time shopping at this retail store and they have a great selection related to swimwear!!! I was interested in buying a wetsuit and was also informed on the differences between the 4/3 and the 5/3 millimeters of the wetsuits. A 4/3 (4mm for the torso and 3mm for the arms) is better for moderate to cold water with higher flexibility, while the 5/3 is warmer and designed for colder, winter waters, and is slightly less flexible. My goal is to be warm as I don't want to feel too cold so I went with the 5/3. There's a good amount of fitting rooms that are good sized to be trying them on. My first time trying on wetsuits and I felt like a seal LOL!!! I purchased one but keep in mind that even with the clearance sale I got it for, it was $120+. My girlfriend tried finding bikinis but there was little sizing for her and lots of the two pieces were separated and the designs weren't matching so she didn't get any.
