It's crazy the amount of poo poo coming out of their mouth. I I tried to sell a pair of Jordan threes over there and they said that they try not to take a shoe that's more than a year and a half old because the adhesive glue that Nike uses compared to a year and a half ago is very different and the mid sole and the glue might not be good anymore bunch of poo poo. Plus, everything in that store is such a rip off and marked up at least five times the value I would definitely understand with the story like that up in the Los Angeles, Fairfax District, or maybe New York and Miami but this store doesn't really have any exclusive stuff that's where those markups there's no way over room with any barking or nothing like that. You're honestly better going to another place that actually understands the shoe and streetwear culture and business. Go to places like fire kicks in Hillcrest, SD exchange at the Mission Valley or national city mall or the kickback in Mira Mesa those are more honest businesses that actually understand the market and have good customer service and good pricing that's reasonable with everything read more

Reposting my Google review here & I WISH I checked these reviews before coming here because theres no WAY they have 4.8 stars on Google & 2.5 stars on Yelp. Unless you're a sneakerhead with money to throw away -- do NOT shop here. If you're a mom looking for nice, new sneakers for your straight A students -- again do NOT shop here. Walked in today with my boys and walked out with 3 pairs of sneakers totaling $1000+. Excessive, I know but its all "these are the newest", "no one will have these at his new school", "they dont come out for a month", "you're getting a great deal". Yeah right. I tried calling my brother for help before purchasing but he was asleep. So imagine my horror when I get home & send my brother the pictures of the shoes we bought. His response "sis, you 100% got swindled". I paid $445 for the newest & could've ordered them online for $280 - all in. So to be clear, they are very much available for purchase now & are NOT coming out next month smh Paid $175 for another pair that were $90 elsewhere and $285 for valerians that should've cost $140. So yes, lesson learned because of course, all sales are final. But seriously, if you aren't sneaker savvy, especially as a mother just trying to splurge on her babies a little for back to school -- stay TF away from this place. You will be straight up lied to with a smile & pay 50%+ markup. I won't be getting my money back but here's your warning so you don't make the same mistake as me. read more

J'S I appreciate the variety of Air Jordan 1's on their shelves but my size is hard to come by because I wear youth size (ex: 4y = 5.5w, 4.5y = 6w). Typically I order my J's through legit sneakerhead sites (Ex: Flight Club, Stadium Goods... because they authenticate the shoes) because the pair/color I try to find aren't always available at local stores. Out of pure randomness I walked in and found the pair I want (Black, Grey, Pink with the pink stitching around the sole), however the smallest they had was 5y. I can go for either 4-4.5y. They called the other locations and no luck. And yes, I do like how they wrap the shoes because it protects and doesn't bends the quality of people trying it on. And y'all know us who love us some J's, we keep our shoes fresh. And once again, I had to go on the sneakerhead sites, pray for my size to be available, and luckily ordered my pair. Would have been nice if they had inventory. read more

City Kicks - HOT AF!!! This is a 5.5y though... I am looking for 4 or 4.5y. Ordered online, still got my pair for about the same price. - Shoe Stores Near Me - San Diego, California

Who is even keeping the lights on here?? Walked in to hopefully shop for some sneakers but they're charging outrageous prices for shoes that are half the price on GOAT and Stock X. The guys were friendly enough but dang don't support the scalpers. For example White Cement Jordan 3's here are $495 but $290 online. Stop it read more

great store has very good prices great merch cool socks and great cool toys nice hoodies and good service

Just hit up City Kicks in San Diego and found some seriously dope shoes! The staff was chill and super helpful, making the whole experience awesome. Definitely a must-visit if you're looking to upgrade your shoe game! read more

Warning Warning. This store is a rip off do not I repeat do not buy anything from this store, I'm a disabled vet that gave my 16 year old son 400 to go school shopping and he bought a t-shirt for $350 dollars yes its his fault, but everyone doesn't have the money to afford that. My son messed up but I thought it could be returned, but you can't return anything and this was within 10 minutes of the purchase. Called the store manager and basically he was like it happens. Unfortunately for me he was correct receipt said no returns or exchanges even after I explained this was a big mistake on my sons part, and with no human decency or understanding that my son had made a big mistake, he said sale was final. My son did say no one said no returns till after it was purchased how convenient for them, anyway just be careful usually I would've taken him but I was trying to let him be independent but we all see how that worked out. Lesson learned but just want others to know before making a mistake like this and send your kid to the mall and they go into that store. Total rip off read more

Went to the San Ysidro store, completely felt robbed. Offered me slightly above retail for dead stock military black 4s in size 11 1/2. Told me how the "market" is and how they are offering more than competitors. I understand business is business but they are pulling off some scummy practices. Saw them sell the exact same pair in the same size and condition for like $600... read more

They have a great selection of hype beast shoes. Friendly staff and helpful. If you can't find it here it won't be anywhere

I went to buy a pair of shoes for my daughter. I noticed that the store is very well organized. The employees were polite. And greeted us with smiles. The young man who helped us was courteous, and not pushy. We were very happy and would come back to this store. read more

Inflated and unrealistic prices. They even had the shoes I wanted but a quick search and they were $250 more than the lowest price even on eBay. Avoid unless you enjoy getting ripped off. read more

3x times prices for shoes, and there's NO returns or exchanges, don't get scammed like I did

if your in the area you'll definitely find the kicks you've been looking for. very attentive staff!

I was looking for a gift for my brother who's a sneaker head and didn't know where to start. I passed by this store by chance when shopping around the mall and decided to head in. The store is relatively new but the interior was really nice with good lighting. The selection of shoes they have is pretty vast and they have just about every size you might need. But aside from the actual products they have I think their customer service is what really stands out. It seems like a family owned business as there were twins and a few others working at the store when I came in. But they were very helpful and willing to listen to any questions I had and gave me some advice since I wasn't very knowledgeable on shoes. The employees really take their time to help you out and that's something you usually can't get at other big stores. Definitely coming back if I need to get another pair of sneakers in the future. read more

The service was amazing and the staff was very welcoming. The feel of the store once you walk in is nice. Definitely coming back soon

Way overpriced. The same shoes online are literally half the price. Didn't check until I went home and of course there is no refund/returns so make sure you really do your research before making any purchase. read more

Nice selection but way overpriced, they're already scalping as is and they inflate the prices more than 100% the already inflated scalper price. Not only that, once you pay they turn the screen over for you and ask for a tip. read more

I went there today in a hope of finding the yeezy foam runner note you I don't know my size so I ask for assistance. The guy that work there this late afternoon was rude when I asked if I could try on shoes he refuses. He said I won't you try unless you are buying. Sir how am I supposed to buy some shoes if I can't even try it on. He gets upset because I ask to try on the shoes. I own a Bussiness and one thing I know about is customer service something that this man doesn't have or manners. He looks like he doesn't want to be there. I Hope they hire a new person who welcomes their customers when they walk in the door. No offense that's why no one tend to stay in the store for more than 5 mins. Do better! Would love to support the Business but not when you have ppl like him work there. read more

Everything at this store is overpriced by at least 100% compared to other stores and about 150% from online. Ordered the same shoes online and waited 2 days and it was half the price. read more

This place is amazing. I walked in with a desire to get some new clothing and shoes. They had great customer service and were some great people. I explained what I was looking for and they immediately knew what I wanted. They tried their best getting me everything I needed and were also patient with me. Great staff and great store. I love this store. Best customer service and has a wide variety of sneakers that are hard to get online. Bought 2 pairs already and I always look forward to going back every time. They also have a nice selection of apparel. The gentlemen that work there are welcoming and very nice and helpful with everything and know what they are talking about. Highly recommend City Kicks to everyone! read more

Definitely the best shoe store out in San Diego. They have an amazing selection and the staff is very kind and helpful. I was looking for a couple of gifts for my cousins and one of the employees helped me find the exact size and shoes that I was looking for. Will for sure come back again. read more

Their prices are crack prices, well marked over than actual resale prices. You are better off, buying from Goat or EBay. The have the JBalvin Air Jordan 2's for $600-700, the shoe is still going for retail at $250 on most resale sites. They also have the Off White Air Jordan 5's for $1850, actual resale is $1050. Like where are they getting these prices from? read more
