Great selection of wearables that don't look run down. Their color schemes for clothing are top notch!

We found this little store because we parked nearby. Lots of cute La Jolla logo magnets- many options for tourists. There were sea life, such as sea turtles, those vintage cars (that held surf boards, the ones with the wood panels). We bought one. It is bright and colorful. The magnets were $4.99 and under. This is a small store, but it is stocked well and has some womens clothing that actually caught my eye. I saw a thin light La Jolla logo hoodie at $30 and a La Jolla logo heavy winter fleece hoodie at $50. I don't normally consider clothing like this, but they were really cute. (Hubby thinks I have too much.) There were t-shirts and other things, but I didn't really look at them in detail. The clerk was nice. No other customers besides us. There are a lot of little shops in the area, more competition. read more

We visited the La Jolla area during our vacation. I am so glad I happened across Blue Apparel! The cost is higher than the cheap shops (obviously), but it is also boutique style. So it has cute trinket things and one of a kind finds. I thought their prints and shirts for La Jolla were some of the cutest we've seen. Fun little quips with cute prints of whales, etc. Even if you were a local, those would be super cute to sport around! I loved that they had a variety of sizing, kids options, as well as a couple of discount bins in case the price is a little steep for some. If we are back in the area, I hope to stop by again! Good items but pricey and staff is super rude and stand offish not sure if it's because we're Hispanic or why the were treating us rudely despite buying things from their shop. Very upsetting. I asked to see an item and she was hesitant to show me and told me " are you even going to buy it or do you just want to see it???" I am baffled with how horrible the service was I regret giving them business but was in desperate need of a souvenir gifts. read more

Nice store with lots of fun t-shirts and sweatshirts with unique designs. If you're into dogs, you'll definitely find lots of cute prints. I also love their candle selection and appreciate they came in different sizes because I always prefer larger sizes once I like a scent. The hoodie I also purchased was buttery soft, breathable, and fantastic quality. My one complaint is that no one asked us if we needed help even though I was with my mom who was having a hard time findings things in her size but was definitely interested in purchasing something. I also found out about a ten percent off coupon in the La Jolla magazine afterwards so make sure to use that. If the sales associate had told me that, who knows, maybe I would have been more inclined to purchase more items? read more

Visited La Jolla a few months ago and the woman working here was extremely patient as my friend and I played tourist and stopped in twice looking for gifts and souvenirs. They had a trunk of discounted sweaters and shirts which was great. This shop is pricey but they have some really great tanks and tees. I got a tank for myself that has a pretty sailboat design. Best shop for a souvenir and for La jolla tees, sweaters and tanks on the entire street. read more

We came to this store on Friday 3/16 and purchased a long sleeve shirt that was very nice quality paid $25.99 sold to us by a man name Oscar. Came back on Sunday to purchase 2 more before leaving back to Az. The 2 women working told me "I must be mistaken and didn't purchase a shirt there because it's $45. Then they went on to laugh at me and say a guy doesn't work there. Then they acknowledged that Pacar worked on Friday. I will not darken the doors to this store again.its one thing if the price was wrong, but to tell me I didn't pay that price and I must have went somewhere else and then laugh at me and say a guy doesn't work there, but then acknowledge later that Oscar works there and worked Friday. . Rude women who need to be taught customer service skills. read more

My husband and I popped in here while visiting La Jolla because he had forgotten to bring his sunglasses. Blue Apparel had some pretty cheap ones and also hats, t-shirts and other tourist gear. But in addition to that they have a really awesome selection of handmade jewelry and other items made by local craftsmen. It was pretty cool just to wander around the shop and I did take home a few fun and funky pieces. read more

Great customer service with a nice selection of t-shirts and clothing. Plus they have two resident pugs who will brighten your day. I think the store's merchandise is aimed for tourists more so than locals. But nicely organized and clean. Plus did I mention the pugs? Way to brighten up a casual shopping experience. Drove back to LA Jolla to buy two sweatshirts since my sister got one for $27. We went in and asked if that was the price because it differed on the tag from what my sister bought from the man. The ladies both were very rude and laughed at us saying the sweater was not that price and argued that we must of bought something else. My sister told them she bought it from a man on Friday night for $27. They continued to say a guy didn't work there and laughed. Then one said oh ya there is. Look if the price was incorrect and my sister got the wrong price then that's fine. There is a respectful way to go about it then laughing and being rude to customers. La Jolla Sea Cove gifts was much nicer and affordable. Hopefully no one else has a bad experience here. read more
