The greatest cheese fries you can ask for - the yummiest breakfast burrito that I have found in Pasadena so far. This isn't the fastest place in my opinion, but I think thats because they really take the time to cook your food fresh and not serve you straight from a warmer. Customer service is critical for me and Lucky Boy dropped the ball. Food has always been good when you are craving comfort cuisine but tonight just pissed me off. Ordered 65 dollars in burritos, burgers, and other food and saw they had a seasonal Horchata Milkshake. My daughter was with her friend whom we were getting food with and I ordered a large one on top of the order but asked if they could please put it in two cups instead of two people sharing one (especially with covid, germs, sharing, etc). They bring it to me and she literally say, "WE DON'T NORMALLY SPLIT DRINKS--DONT DO IT AGAIN" doing it in a condescending and scolding manner....WTF! I had to ask twice bc I couldn't believe they were serious about making such a big deal about splitting a milkshake in two cups--especially after dropping 65 dollars on all the food. Adding insult to injury, she asks what looks like the manager by her and he CONFIRMS that I should NOT do that again and it is NOT normally done and that it's their "rule"! REALLY!!?? Do you guys really have 500 people a day using up so many plastic cups because there is an epidemic of sharing???!! At that point, I forced them to give me an entire refund for all the food and there was NO apology, understanding, care, or concern about such a truly insignificant issue. I didn't try his but he stated it had a generous amount of bacon. While the burritos are a good size and packed well and reasonably priced, I was slightly disappointed. Let's see; They are closing in 25 minutes so the lady (who is staring at me like she had a terrible day or just did not like working on Saturday.) tells me rudely that it is to go and when I was letting her know what me and my wife wanted to eat (of course her ignorant a-- gets that wrong too. I come back and the take out has only one burger burger because angry Latina who can't wait to finish her shift f--ked that up with her terrible english(I should of went to Tommy's, but gave them a chance. While my husband and I stayed in Pasadena we visited several times, trying a new item ever visit. You can't go wrong! Everything is delicious! The staff is wonderful and very helpful when ordering. Tip to my gluten-free fam: it's not on the menu, but you can request it free of charge and they use a lot of lettuce to give it a nice crispy crunch. Yum! They only do it at this location, so even when I'm literally across the block from the other location, I will drive to here instead. I'm a fan of their avocado cheeseburger (lettuce wrapped, of course). For those who have never been, it's a satisfying greasy spoon with VERY generous portions. You'll need a friend or two to help you with the delicious zucchini fries (not gluten-free) that come in a huge box. I always order the small fries and they are larger than most large fries so I can never finish them. The fries are thick cut. They also offer a variety of beverages, including smoothies, shakes, aguas, and sodas. I love their pina colada smoothie on a hot day and chocolate shake comes with whip cream. Yay! I took one star off because the bathrooms are in desperate need of work. The ambiance is your basic greasy spoon diner, with indoor and outdoor seating. There's air conditioning inside but that's the extent of the "frills". There's also a dedicated lot with ample free parking. This location is quieter than the other, so there's not much of a wait for lunch or dinner. read more
