Simply the best Baja Cali location , as well as best fish taco in neighboring cities. I have been coming for years and even moving out of the area I come here for their fish taco. The staff is great! I miss the old ones years before but Osvaldo and some of the newer staff like Daniel are so amazing and understanding that it still feels like home. Their aqua fresca is the best! Besides the regular horchata , I love their other rotating ones the most (eg passion fruit or guava ) punchy flavor that warms my hearts The best part about the fish taco is their thin crunchy crust with soft fish inside, good tartar sauce) Their condiments are also great (yellow peppers and pickled red onions). Prices are higher than before but Tuesday special is still very good. Their new Serrano sauce is actually quite good and different. The only thing I think worth improving is - I ordered some bowl a year back that tasted great but a little small. 5 stars as always. hope more patron come as they probably lost a lot of regulars after the fire. I called the Pasadena Washington location and spoke with Eddie--honestly, one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. He told me to come by with my receipt, and by the time I got there, he already had the missing item ready to go. On top of that, he added churros for the inconvenience, even though I tried multiple times to pay for them. He wouldn't take it. That kind of genuine care is rare. The only thing that threw me was the prepackaged sauce...taking away from the authentic vibe. There were three sauces and all spicy with just the right kick. I ate my tacos for lunch but over ordered and had left overs. Around dinner I just ate the tacos without warming them and they still tasted just as good. My wife and I went there this evening and ordered 2 Carne Asada burritos. We asked for them to be plain, no onions, cilantro, plain. When we received the order, I asked if they were plain. I was assured that they were. We took them to go as we live about 5 miles away. To our surprise, when we got home, we immediately saw that they were wrong. When asked about the bathroom, we got a cold, irritated "not working" with zero apology. Then staff started mopping with bleach an hour before closing, filling the place with chemical fumes. Not exactly appetizing. If this manager hates customers so much, they shouldn't be running a restaurant. Terrible leadership, hostile service, and a great way to lose repeat business. The restaurant has a small parking lot and there's street parking. Fairly spacious indoor seating. I tried the al pastor fish tacos ($9.99 for 3 tacos and a drink) and 2 regular grilled fish tacos. I usually like grilled fish tacos but the al pastor flavor was really good. And for the price made it even better. It's clean. They have a restroom outside towards the back.
