Special thanks to the two lovely female employees who rescued me from the ladies room last week. I have severe arthritis and have trouble standing. The only disabled stall was occupied by a lady on the phone who obviously thought she was at a coffee shop. She talked forever until I could wait no longer so I used a regular stall and with nothing to hold on to I was well and truly stuck. After a 15 minute struggle a very nice lady in the next stall got me some help. One of my rescuers shimmied under the door and opened it and they both helped me to stand.. I received a text message that I would be scheduled for installation on Thursday. I called the installer Thursday morning to see what time they would be here and was told I wasn't on the schedule. The installer showed up on Friday and did not have tac strips or the carpet pad and said he would return on Saturday. I messaged the installer Friday evening to verify that he was going to be at my home on Saturday and he said he would be here. I stayed at my house all day on Saturday and finally received a message at 3 pm that he would not be coming due to the installation company did not release the pad to him. I went into Lowe's in Surprise, AZ Sunday morning and spoke with store manager Amber. I showed her all my text messages and she appeared to be documenting this. Amber said she would escalate this to the regional or district manager for a resolution and would be calling me on Monday for an update. Monday came and went with no communication from Amber, so I tried calling her on Tuesday. When transferred to Amber on Tuesday, a man answered and said, "yes, Amber is sitting right here, one moment please." He then returned on the phone and said, "Amber is asking if you have heard anything about your installation?" I responded no and he told me she said they were supposed to be contacting me. I never heard from Amber again. I then tried calling the corporate office. After telling my issue another 3 times, I was given the opportunity to tell my story for a 4th time to a manager named Terri. Terri, was the first to apologize for this inconvenience and said she would be calling the install company and get things taken care of. At this time I was pleading to get my carpet installed so my family could get their house back in order and lives back to normal. Mind you, I had 2 entire bedrooms sitting in my living room and dining room for coming up on a week. The carpet was then installed on Wednesday. A week later. After the install, I called Terri as she asked me to do, and spoke about getting some of my money refunded. Terri was pleasant and asked if she could get back to me on Monday. Monday came around and I received a call from someone else. She said, Terri asked her to call me to let me know that I would be receiving a $75 credit for my house being torn up for a week and all troubles. After everything I went through and the hours I spent trying to get my carpet installed. I felt $75 was the last slap in the face from Lowe's. I believe I had to repeat my situation at least 20 times, (if not more) I had to take 5 days of vacation (Thurs, Fri, Mon, Tues and Wed) off of work due to waiting on installation, place my company that came to visit at a friends house, (due to rooms not being completed) and missed spending Saturday with them since I was waiting for the installer to come. (Which I didn't receive the message they weren't going to be doing the install until 3pm) Again, to get a call from someone from Lowe's to relay Terri's message that they would be offering me $75 for my inconvenience was a slap in the face. With all that has been said: The only time I spoke to the installation company was when I called them. Only to be told they would get something going and never received a call back. Speaking to a Store manager (Amber) and never to received a call back, and finally getting to someone who was able to get my installation scheduled and not given the respect of calling me back herself, to tell me they we're refunding me a $75 slap in the face. I made a carpet, pad and installation purchase from Lowe's, not the installer. Zero communication by all parties. I feel this whole debacle is on Lowe's. Is this how Lowe's treat's/values their customers? Still not satisfied with the end results. If you're looking for new flooring, you might want to going to a flooring store or a big box company. I with you the best of luck if you buy flooring from Lowe's. I will say, the ladies in the flooring department that helped me and sold everything was helpful and nice to work with. Too bad they weren't running the show over there! Update! I received a message off my Google review to call and when calling the provided 800 number, no one seemed to know what i was talking about. The kitchen/bath install dept is deplorable. Wanted an install price for a 2 sink vanity replacing a 1 sink vanity. The vanity comes assembled. I paid for an install and measure quote. Nice guy came out explained that they DON'T do plumbing which is the biggest expense. After waiting a day for the quote, we called the Lowe's install desk and were treated like garbage by Diane. In another day or so we called and given the quote over the phone.....$4,900!!..not including plumbing. It did include the vanity itself ($1499). $2,500 to inbox the vanity and screw it to the wall....sent an email to the store manager, no response. read more

This is an Update, not the first one, but it would seem that because Lowe's has not contacted me about this problem that Lowe's is not concerned and doesn't care. To REPEAT - I was in a Lowe's store and a person who was dressed similar to other Lowe's employees and appeared to be working in the lighting section of the store approached me, soliciting the sale of a home solar system. (Home Depot people have done this too.) Long story short a salesman came to my home, I agreed to lease a solar system and it was installed. There was also an offer of a substantial referral fee, I am guessing that Lowe's or their employee or both may have been compensated but I don't know. Regardless, Lowe's, acting on behalf of the other players should have some responsibility in this problem. It was turned on and the first bill from APS shows I earned $3.47 in credits for Electrical production sold back to APS. That's the good part of this review. For about the last three weeks two bedrooms and the full bath have no electricity and no one from the company that did the installation, Freedom Forever, Temecula CA, or the lease company, GoodLeap, listing recommendations on their Web Site from Forbes, Bloomberg, the WALL St Journal, CNBC and more, has arranged to have this situation corrected. GoodLeap did instruct Freedom Forever to repair a hole in my roof, but I have no knowledge of a hole in my roof. Freedom Forever told me that was an error, I hope that is correct., I don't need anymore problems. In these past few weeks additional electrical problems have appeared, arching in wall outlets. I hope that the house doesn't suffer a catastrophic event. The house is three years old. I never experienced any of these problems before this solar installation. And now none of the companies are contacting me about resolving these issues. Freedom Forever tells me it is likely due to problems with the house. I wonder what the builder, Lennar Homes, would have to say about that. I don't know that my experience is representative, but I know that I am living it. This is the 3rd time this has happened at this location, all on different occasions. I needed help finding specific items for a doordash order. Everytime I have been there and asked for help they just point and say "it's over there" when I tell them I was just over there in that section and I need more assistance than just a "general area it's in" they tell me they can't help me and when I go to someone else for help, I get the same answer. It has been the most irritating and frustrating experience every single time. After I finally give up and start to go to the checkout to buy what I do have, there's 5-6 employees just standing around all talking to each other and doing nothing. It's honestly so rude. Bought a Pella sliding glass door last October. During the winter the outside window molding on the side of the glass at the bottom popped off. Because it was behind the stationary panel we could not reach it to put it back on. We did try because it scrapes the stationary panel it continued the come off.. Now the door won't close. Pella will not warranty the door without the ID numbers on the handle or the door frame. THERE ARE NO NUMBERS ANYWHERE , ON THE DOOR. Lowes say Pella has to do it and Pella says Lowes needs to provide a PO number. Since the door was a STOCK door, there is NO PO number. We are screwed. NEVER buy doors from Lowes, and NEVER buy Pella doors. read more

Lowe's apparently outsources their delivery. At least in northern Michigan, the delivery firm/people used by the Lowe's store in Petoskey, MI are terrible.Thet seem nice enough and then they make up artificial but, to a lay person, credible reason why they can't do anything to connect the water/ice service on a new refrigerator. In my case, they said, "Oh. that's a copper line; we can't touch copper." So ... they left the new one in the living room (see photo), didn't even level the doors (see photo), and, of course, didn't take away the old refrigerator. There I am, with all food sitting out, spoiling. Then .. I have to get an emergency call of TWO plumbers; they just shake their heads: "Yup, they make an excuse and flee; happens all the time." The plumbers EASILY hooked up the COPPER water line (See photo). CRUMMY SERVICE. Helpful Lowe's sales staff, but then the delivery leaves you bummed. Boston, Mass area consumer. Ordered and paid a good penny to have a NEW product delivered. The truck came AN HOUR AFTER the window of 11am-3pm, AND the product was damaged BEFORE it even left the Wilmington MA warehouse. WHY would you send me a product that you could visibly see was damaged. The box it was in was VISIBLY GASHED, and the damage is directly pushing into electrical components. I purchased a washer dryer from Lowe's and paid for delivery and setup . When they delivered it they trumped mud into my house , damaged my vinyl planking flooring and we're not able to set the washer dryer completely up because they had the wrong plug for the dryer . After talking to their office they said they would send someone back out today to finish setting the washer dryer up with the correct plug . Instead they sent the new plug via Uber and no one showed up to hook it up and reset the unit . Not a happy camper here and would not recommend Lowe's delivery service . read more

Very disappointed at how I was treated today at your Lowe's store off of Grand Ave and Bell RD. Went back to appliances to look at a Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator to try and figure out a name or part number so I could order it to fix my neighbor's fridge she bought from you guys a few years ago. Your employee was short with me and refused to lift a finger to help me. He kept saying "I can't do that." Just before he came up, another employee had just helped a lady with a part number for a microwave. I told him he was being a jerk and he said, "you're a jerk!" I have been searching quite some time for an item for my RV. I have searched high and low and even the RV supply stores did not have what I needed. I first went to Home Depot and the employee there had no clue what I needed. I made one last ditch effort to try and find the item at Lowe's in the door and window department. When I arrived, an employee, later identified as Isaiah Baker, was with another customer. Even so, he acknowledged me and said he would be with me as soon as possible. When he finished with his customer, he turned his full attention to me and asked me how he could help. I explained what I was looking for and he was able to find exactly what I needed. Ordered windows from Lowes. Almost a year in, have defective windows, they went through two installers who did not do a proper job and damaged the house, my framing is torn up, my decking and ledges are damaged because neither installer protected their work surfaces, the windows are not installed correctly, windows are not square or properly shimmed, have crooked sight lines, are scratched and bent, there is framing missing, etc. They used drywall screws for god sake! Customer service is non-​existent Ordered a water softner from them, which they shipped fedex. When it was on the truck for delivery, fedex had damaged it so much they shipped it back to Lowes. A week later I had not heard a thing from Lowes. It took me calling them​ to have the replacmenet shipped. When the replacement arrived, Fedex left it upside down on my front porch. The box was clearly marked this end up, but they had damaged the second one so bad, it was falling out of the box. I then shipped that one back to Lowes for a refund, which they said would take 3-10 days. I called 10 days later and they said they would process the refund that day, and I had to wait another 3 to 10 days.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ It seems they do nothing without you having to remind them it needs to be done every step of the way. So it seems both Lowes and Fedex are pretty useless for delivering items you purchase from Lowes. They delivered a second one with a dead battery and the delivery guy left it on the metal skid in the middle of my driveway saying he had to leave. I went to the store to try to get them to pick it up for a refund and they won't do it for another week so I am supposed to be stuck with a dead mower on a metal skid in my driveway for a week. Had an installation of fence done. It was done incorrectly. Lowes only has one contractor. They refused to refund my money. So we have to the same contractor come out. They refuse to refund the full amount of materials that were returned to the store even though we were told that we would be. Manager at Installation has yet contacted me and has been too busy to receive my phone call. All this after waiting 8 months to have the fence installed. Huge gaps that are over a foot. Different employees say different things. All they want to do is get your money and care less about the end product. I have sent multiple pictures of the fence. Natalie pointed me in the right direction but went further to ask when she wasn't sure. It is close to closing and these ladies treated me like I was the first customer of the day. I'm doing remodeling and purchased a light fixture at Lowes, big mistake. First most of the lights we looked at looked used. I picked the best of the bunch paid FULL price and was hoping for the best, sure enough it didn't work. I went back and asked for an associate and was told to wait in the department. Do you think they ever came NOT. So I had to go back up to the service desk. When the electrical manager came up I explained the situation and asked if they could test one of the others ? He YELLED if it has a plug you can just find a plug and plug it in ? If not and it involves any electrical then " we don't do that " and stormed off like he was ticked I suggested this ? I asked for a manager and he said the same. We don't do that hear, never apologized and didn't really care about the others on the counter that other reading his may be buying, I said don't you even care that you have used products on your shelf, no comment. I told him I live 45 min away and don't really want to bring another home only to find out I have to drive back. I brought him to the others and showed him the damage and his only suggestion was to bring each one home if they don't work drive back to return them. Nice he gave me permission to ensure their used products work that they sell in the store as new Mind you these were not in the clearance section but they were selling these as new products. I paid close to $100 for the light figure. I can believe Lowes has people in supervisory positions that don't know basic customer skills. Well I plan on purchasing all my future remodeling supplies from either Home Depot or Amazon in the future. Who I blame more than they associates is Lowes for having people in there stores, department manager and assistant manager that have no training in customer service. The fact that Yelp has Lowes at 2 stars currently is no surprise to me. Save yourself some aggravation and chose Home Depot where great customer service matters. Kitchen cabinets from Shenandoah are complete crap, sent me new cabinets to replace the damaged ones with damaged ones! Quality control is a joke so is the kitchen cabinet service, if I could give ZERO stars I would, customer service is crap as well, since we didn't install you're out of luck even though what we sent is complete crap! Dn't ever set up a design & install with Lowe's. I am over the lack of communication, the poor follow through, excuses, and overall cutrate customer service. We had to completely scrap our initial kitchen design because over 1/2 the cabinets were wrong. After that we still had incorrect/missing pieces which had to be reordered/ordered after the install started 11/14/22. Finally received all the correct pieces 04/19/23(That's right almost 5 months later). Since 4/19, I have been trying to schedule time to finish this install (that began 11/14/22). Initial installer bailed out because LOWEs and them couldn't get along. I'm getting nothing but the runaround and excuses. I currently have logged almost seven pages of documentation of the issues lack of communication/follow through. I have spoken to two managers that never called me back. The only "compensation" that I have received is they waived a $125 fee for the cabinet & countertop measurements. LOWEs gets their money from you & they are pretty much done caring or trying to do anything for you at that point. read more

Ref: Order# 756607709 This is a follow-up to a complaint made regarding an installation that was scheduled for 3-Aug-2022 for order# 756607709. I purchased a new Samsung washing machine online along with the hose pipe connectors and a 5 year extended warranty. Lowes at 1920 NW Maynard RD, Morrisville, NC 27513. They had 4 days to deliver and install. The installers landed up without the connectors, installed the new washer with old pipes with total disregard for safety, water leaks or pipe burst. They said that they would come the next day to install it. Nobody showed up the next day. It's been 5 days now. What is the store Manager doing?. Does he know anything?. Who is in charge of inventory control at this location?. Does the guy in charge of installations know anything to send people out on a job without the required items ordered?. Do they know anything about safety at this location?. I made 3 calls to Customer care Complaint via Phone number: 1-800-445-6937. I called them and spoke to a guy by the name Hunter on this number 984-275-6925 who claimed to be a Manager at the distribution centre. When I asked to clarify, he refused to tell me from which location but I tracked it to Lowes distribution Centre, Garner, NC. One of the worst arrogant people you can speak to and he claimed that he was a Manager. ha! He talked to me that the complaint I made was how they work meaning that, that is how they work and you either accept it or take a refund. . He made it clear that that is correct. Can you imagine that?. HUNTER is the name. Nobody should deal with this guy or the company and specifically this branch. I strongly advise people not to go to this place or this company. Usually a Home Depot guy, but I got to cross enemy lines and step into Lowe's this weekend ;-). I ordered a replacement shower spout online, and it didn't fit. I needed to return it and get the correct one. The return was easy. They had social distancing guidelines in place with markers on the floor, and plexiglass for the workers. Got a refund to my card and the return process was easy and quick. I needed to get the correct shower part, so I headed down to plumbing. I passed a couple of associates and nobody really offered to help, but I found an associate and he answered a few of my questions. I picked up the shower part, a replacement recessed light for my kitchen and was on my way. Self checkout. Overall, good experience. The clerk at returns was friendly and helpful, the store is nice and big, clean, and spacious, and the prices are on par with Home Depot and others. I'm sure I will be back eventually. read more

I started my blinds project for my home 2 months ago. I had one blind that didn't work. I was told that they would stop on the way back and have it reordered. That never happened. I called a few weeks later, and found that out. I then reordered them at that time. I was told by a Lowe's associate that it was my responsibility to double check on if they are ordered. Instead of trusting that they were ordered. I was also told later that the replacement was ordered and would be sent to my home on a certain dayand that they would call me the next day to double check to make sure that it had been received. They called me the next day to tell me that the blind had just been ordered and that it would be received in another week until a week and a half. When asked if I could speak with the manager. I was put on hold, and was then told that the manager had reviewed my case, and they refused to talk to me. read more
