George determined the handle on the pot was plastic so he went and got a tool to rethread the hole in the pot handle to fit a bolt he had. Dunn Edwards paint store. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT! bother wasting your time or money here. I cannot stress enough how horribly unprofessional the customer service is at this location. On Wed, Nov. 13th 2023 I called to get information from the color advisor but was told she is too busy and can't receive calls. So I explained I was looking to get a color scheme rendering computer generated for our home. This female employee told me we don't do that. I kindly told her yes you do because I've had it done here before. I explained we give the color advisor a picture of our house and they place a color scheme on it so we can see how it looks before we purchase the paint. She told me; No! we don't have a way to do that. I tried to explain to her yes your color advisor has a method for this as I've had it done here before. But all this person wanted to do was repeatedly argue with me over the phone. I did nothing to deserve her rudeness as she continued to want to argue with me. I asked her if she could please leave a message and she acted like it was a big problem. I can't believe she doesn't even understand the basics of her own job & how they operate. She was rude, nasty and unprofessional to say the least. Look, if they hate their job that much why not just find a new one. ‍ Is it that difficult? At first I was willing to blow it off until I encountered another employee with a similar attitude "Aubree Smith, also unprofessional, rude, nasty customer service employee for Dunn Edwards. I set a 30 minute color advisory appointment on Thursday Nov. 14th 2023 but called ahead to see if I could save us both some time by just sending in the house photo which we both agreed was quick & simple. Soon after I received email results and was asked about further assistance for color scheme in case I needed it. I accepted the offer and sent additional color schemes. Short time later another email stated there would be a $25 charge but she could only offer one FREE. "I was like WHAT!!" Why offer customers additional selections if you intend to charge them extra fees at $25 each photo. Keep in mind these are watermarked photos NOT prints. Who would want that? Did she suppose I want to hang them on my wall. How STUPID!! First off, Aubree never stated anything about charges. It wasn't until she realized she would have to work 5 extra minutes to help satisfy a customer's decision that it suddenly became a issue for her. Hey "Dumb Edwards," are you guys purposely trying to chase customers AWAY? It's a big painting job on a two story home why wouldn't I be concerned about making the right choice. I am convinced Aubree either doesn't like her job or she wants extra FREE TIME to avoid working. How hard can it be to add color schemes on a computer. Aubree clearly is NOT about working or helping customers make decisions. She only wants to pretend until she's taken up on the offer to actually do something. I scheduled a 30 minute consultation with her too but told her I could save us time by emailing the house photo. She agreed which obviously, saved her the 30 minute consultation time. However I received a nasty email from her complaining that additional color schemes are $25 each. Aubree Smith, from the looks of it, it's not the first time you were rude & unprofessional to Dunn Edwards customers. It's pathetic and sad this employer even allows you this kind of behavior. Something seriously must be wrong with your attitude. I recommend you find a new job. Also, I strongly advise customers to steer clear from this Dunn Edwards location due to the lack of courtesy & professional help.

I had a very disappointing customer service experience at the Home Depot in Surprise this evening. I specifically asked a sales associate whether the store carried any blowers that were cordless/non-electric, because I did not want one that needed to be plugged into an electrical outlet. She told me no, that they only had electric blowers, but said that if they did have what I was looking for, it would be somewhere between aisles 4-8 and that I would need to access that area from the front of the store. While I was looking, I noticed another customer standing in front of a locked display of blowers. An associate came to unlock the rack for that customer, and I asked her whether those blowers were electric. She told me yes. After they walked away, however, I looked more closely and realized the blowers on that rack were actually battery-powered/cordless, which was exactly the type of product I had originally been asking about. I then had to find another associate to unlock the display again so I could look at them. That associate confirmed that they were battery-powered and showed me additional battery-operated models. She also told me that Home Depot carries gas-powered blowers as well. So despite being told that the store only carried electric blowers, I ultimately discovered that this location carried electric, battery-powered, AND gas-powered options. What disappointed me even more was the response when I explained what had happened. Instead of simply acknowledging that I had been given incorrect information, the associate said she didn't blame the first employee because she "probably" considered battery-powered to be electric. That misses the point. I was very clear that I was looking for a blower that did not need to be plugged in. More importantly, if an associate isn't sure what a customer means or doesn't know what products are available, it would be much more helpful to ask a clarifying question or find someone who knows the department rather than confidently giving incorrect information. I'm not writing this to get anyone in trouble. I'm writing it because I hope management at the Surprise location will use experiences like this as an opportunity for additional staff training. Customers rely on associates to help them navigate products they may not be familiar with, and a little more product knowledge, listening, and willingness to ask questions would have made this a completely different experience.

I did tell him this is my first time my boss has me hunting down product, so he also explained that since I am having product cut down to our specs, we'd still have to pay for the entire sheet, but we would be entitled to those scrap pieces if need be. All very useful info and he was thorough. Great customer service. I'm sure I'll be dealing with them again.

An employee tells me they have it, but when I arrive, suddenly they can't find it or it isn't actually available. I understand inventory systems aren't always perfect, but when a customer calls the store and an employee confirms the item is physically in stock, I expect that information to be accurate.
