Due to an unexpected medical leave situation involving our office staff, we were unable to make the appointment as originally planned. We fully understand the inconvenience that scheduling changes can cause and would have gladly worked toward rescheduling the appointment professionally. Instead, the communication that followed was unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional. Rather than attempting to resolve the situation respectfully, the interaction quickly became hostile despite the circumstances being related to an unforeseen medical issue. As a contractor, we regularly provide free estimates that require scheduling, travel time, project review, and planning before any agreement or compensation takes place. Emergencies and unexpected situations can happen in any business, and professional communication and understanding should exist on both sides. There were also concerns regarding expectations surrounding project costs and contractor responsibilities that suggested a difficult working relationship moving forward. For other contractors and service professionals, I would strongly recommend clearly establishing expectations, communication procedures, and boundaries early before investing substantial time into the project process. It's not the employees fault so I am always gracious. But it's too much. The conversations can become more than necessary when I'm just trying to get in and out. The asking of questions about my home and spending way too much time chatting about it when I just came for a paint brush. I had 2 different employees stop me. One I chatted with for way too long for my liking. Again, not their fault so I am gracious. Please consider customers are constantly harassed by solicitors. I can't even park before someone spots me heading in the store to ask for money for something. Then to go in the store and have the same thing happen. Soliciting really makes my nerves bad and sometimes when I see a stand outside I go to another location. I don't want to start having to do that with Lowe's and go to another business to patronize. I have huge projects and will be in and out often. I cannot deal with constant solicitation; it gives me anxiety. There has to be a better way to advertise or market these services.

Online I found a Rubbermaid 32 gallon black can with wheels. This was a good deal. I didn't put the coupon code when I bought it online. I had to go to the back office and they had to cancel my order and then go up to the front and pay using the coupon. That was pretty silly. I then went to pick up the can. I had to go to the back of the store . One of the helpers went into where they store the online merchandise. He came back with the can and handed me a brand new can that had streaks of dust and dirt all over. It's not a big deal but I thought to myself, you would think the store would take some pride in keeping their products looking clean and new.
