Sharing our experience for the benefit of other contractors and service-based businesses…read more A consultation appointment had been scheduled in advance for a potential project. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected medical-related staffing issue within our office, we were unable to attend the appointment as originally planned. Situations like this are never ideal, but they can happen in any active business operation. Rather than approaching the matter with professionalism and flexibility, the communication that followed became unnecessarily combative and disproportionate to the situation, especially considering this was a complimentary estimate with no contractual agreement in place. Contractors invest significant unpaid time into project consultations, scheduling, travel, budgeting, and preliminary planning before any work is ever awarded. Respectful communication and reasonable expectations are important on both sides of that relationship. There were also several early indicators during discussions regarding project expectations and cost management that suggested the working relationship may have become difficult long term. This review is simply intended to help other professionals exercise caution, communicate clearly, and properly evaluate client relationships before committing substantial time and resources. We value professionalism, mutual respect, and productive communication in every project opportunity.

When I returned I took it in to the store and informed them it was defective. They had to test it which took about 15 min. They tried everything to get it work but they finally admitted it was defective. I asked the associate to just give me a new one that does work. They wanted me to pay for it. I said it didn't work why would I pay for another. They asked a manager but couldn't get an answer. After 25 min I just purchased another. I don't have time for horrible customer service. I came home and called the manager and they apologized but no refund. I don't care about the $24, it's the really poor customer service. Horrible

It's not the employees fault so I am always gracious. But it's too much. The conversations can become more than necessary when I'm just trying to get in and out. The asking of questions about my home and spending way too much time chatting about it when I just came for a paint brush. I had 2 different employees stop me. One I chatted with for way too long for my liking. Again, not their fault so I am gracious. Please consider customers are constantly harassed by solicitors. I can't even park before someone spots me heading in the store to ask for money for something. Then to go in the store and have the same thing happen. Soliciting really makes my nerves bad and sometimes when I see a stand outside I go to another location. I don't want to start having to do that with Lowe's and go to another business to patronize. I have huge projects and will be in and out often. I cannot deal with constant solicitation; it gives me anxiety. There has to be a better way to advertise or market these services.

On this particular trip I needed boxes so my husband could wrap an antique glass curio cabinet that we bought! The boxes were such good quality, very sturdy that I knew my antique glass curio cabinet would arrive in one piece as long as it was wrapped properly... which it did!!! The shelves were well stocked for it being a Sunday so I had a nice variety of sizes to choose from... they also had lots of different sized bubble wraps for your delicates! Don't forget the shrink wrap to keep everything in place, Home Depot definitely has all your packing needs

I had to go to the back of the store . One of the helpers went into where they store the online merchandise. He came back with the can and handed me a brand new can that had streaks of dust and dirt all over. When the manager figured out that he was loosing he turned away from me and told the cashier to give me my $3.20, I told them he could keep it, I no longer wanted the refund, if $3.20 was going to make such a large difference in his Daily Cash inflow, they are in much more trouble that I knew. I came in looking for thrift (drain cleaner), the moment I walked through the door not even a welcome in, and then the old African American man and this older Caucasian woman treated me like I was an idiot. Just pointing instead of helping the other lady just laughing as the man disrespected me. Now I've worked in retail myself. But to be this condescending to your customers is no bloody wonder why this place is bombarded with terrible reviews. Besides the terrible service there isn't anything there worth buying not mentioning the ridiculous prices. Take my word for it, you have more luck buying off Amazon than this depressing store. P.S there is a Home Depot down the road and they treated me way better.
