So I asked if Duration was good enough to be primer and paint both. Louie was very knowledgeable about difference between Duration and A100 and their highest quality paint (I think called Emerald). And how you could get away with not using a primer with Emerald, but iffy with Duration, primer would make the paint last longer. I found Andrea and Rudy to be an exceptional team. Andrea, was helpful in the number of gallons we would need and always made sure that our paint was ready to be picked up when we arrived. After three years of South and West sun, erching doves, pigeons, sparrows, mockingbirds and others, The gate is rusted. After a various week, I found the original shade of paint, on the can. It was buried in the shed innards. DE matched the original shade perfectly. Paint on the steel fence is a bit faded, and rusting. The sample is used up, time for a gallon.
