A shout out to Mr. Dunn and Mr Edwards, wherever they may be. George fabricated a fine steel gate and fence at my mother in law's house. Painting was a lesser skill. After three years of South and West sun, erching doves, pigeons, sparrows, mockingbirds and others, The gate is rusted. After a various week, I found the original shade of paint, on the can. It was buried in the shed innards. DE matched the original shade perfectly. Paint on the steel fence is a bit faded, and rusting. The sample is used up, time for a gallon. Service is good! You can get the paint required by your HOA if you have one. However, the parking is really difficult! If the lot is full, there is a secondary lot by the auto store. We needed to paint our eaves after a new roof and had to paint with Dunn Edward's paint, which really is great quality paint just expensive!! read more

If you need to paint your house, you will be able to get exactly what you need here. The paint is high quality, although not cheap, and the service is quick. You can wait while they mix your paint. If you are not right behind a contractor with a huge paint order, you should be in and out in less than 30 minutes. Parking can be tricky as there are only about 10 spots. read more

I came to this store on Nov 4, 2023 while driving home from a business meeting on the Westside. When I was looking at the color chips, a female employee came and asked if I need help selecting a color. I believe her name was Olivia. I said I was only looking to touch up my RV ceiling that got damaged by water leaking into the hole where the AC was just removed. I asked for "sample jar". Olivia showed me a very small tin and said it cost $5.99. A gallon may cost over $20 for the same paint which the tin only comes in the sheen the next one up from flat. Then after coming to this DE, I went to Sherwin Wms which is another block east on same street. SW had many more color choices in the color that could be a match, than DE. AND SW had a sample jar that was 1 quart for $10. A LOT larger size for not much more, than the Dunn Edwards little tin. I like that 1 quart "sample" better. But my 5 stars is for the lady Olivia who came to help me at this Dunn Edwards store and answer all my questions. No one approached to help me at Sherwin Williams, but solo employee was busy helping customers at the counter. He said he would answer my questions as soon as me run up the customer before me. read more

Terrible cust service. Wanted to buy a machine and had to jump through a few hoops, I get that. I expected that. Javier tells me he's going to call me right back. I wait for a half an hour, call in twice to my man there and am told it'll just be a second. Finally I have my man pass the phone and am told pretty much the same thing, he'll have a manager call me. Another half hour and I just called the store directly. Surprise, I get the manager. Now I remember why we switched to Home Depot paint. Update: Waiting for a call back from the manager I wrote the above review and called Sherwin Williams a block down the road, bought the rig and we're on my way. My man went to Dunn Edwards because they opened at 8. At 9:05 (Sherwin Williams opens at 9) we have our rig and ready to go at Sherwin. read more

I walked into the store using the front door, I noticed a man at the counter helping a customer and shooting the shit. The customer turned around and looked at me and I made eye contact with the employee. I walk over to look at paint samples and the pamphlets. I hear David talking about how his boss thinks he wants to be a rep, but he doesn't want to do that work. After I have been there for a minimum of 20 minuets I walk over towards the front counter and see a young man sitting in the office playing on his phone. When he sees me he jumps up and comes out. I asked why I had not been greeted or acknowledged, they both claim to not know that I was even in their store. Funny because David had even looked at me when he was looking for something on a shelf a few minutes before. When I asked for a little customer service, he had nothing to offer. I asked to speak to their manager I was told he had left for the day. It's 3 in the afternoon and I could have walked out of the store with products that I didn't purchase and no one would have ever noticed. read more

I just left the paint store and I'm literally still sitting in the parking lot because I'm so P-o'd . I went in there with a chip of paint and told them I needed a paint match. The guy said they could do it and I expressed to them that it had a hint of purple in the paint at my home I just picked up the paint and it is not even close to being the same color he would not help me out. Basically told me I was S out of luck. I will never go back there again the guy was a complete arrogant you know what. Now I have a paint color that doesn't match anything in my home and I cannot use it. Reading through the reviews I see that the same problem has occurred to other people. We are remodeling & had already picked a different brand of paint colors but our contractor told us he only used Dunn--Edward paint. We ran over to compare color swatches. We lucked out in meeting Kimberly, the paint consultant. She was super & helped us find some DE options. She explained about the different sheens & quality including the low to Zero VOC options. That's important to us to minimize toxins & be sustainable as possible. She also guided us in playing w/ the swatches in different parts of the house w/ the shadows, time of day, etc. She assured us if we didn't like it as much as our original picks they would color match. And explained how Dunn-Edwards is a southwest paint company designed to work with the SW heat & Sun. The entire staff was extremely pleasant & helpful especially since we were there even after store closed. Bottom line - impressive & courteous service. Hope the paint colors are as nice. read more

Took the contractor's label off of the paint that was used during the construction of our home to get an exact match. To make a LONG story short, they got it wrong. Had to go back again today and have them remake it. Waited over an hour to get one gallon of paint mixed. I like the quality of the paint, but the customer service, or lack thereof, has made me mark them off my list. read more

Went out of my way to get paint at this store because my carpenter told me to buy here and get a specific type of paint. After buying 300 dollars worth of paint and having it sprayed on, I found the paint was the wrong color. They made no attempt to help in the suituation. I basically spent triple the amount of money on this paint only to have them point fingers at the carpenter. I'll go elsewhere next time and so should my carpenter. read more
