The manager called me a few weeks ago and we spoke about the issues I had experienced Today I went in with a can of paint that had no brand or color identification on it. I needed to match the paint to my trim. The service person told me they could do it. Asked me to give them some time to do it and gave me a time when I should come back. Excellent communication I rocked up a little early. My paint was matched and ready for me I am a happy customer.

I found Andrea and Rudy to be an exceptional team. Andrea, was helpful in the number of gallons we would need and always made sure that our paint was ready to be picked up when we arrived. In several weeks of purchasing paint there was never a problem and that is a record for most stores these days. Rudy, carried out the large 5 gal. paint containers for us. I guess Rudy is the one who does a lot of the mixing. Again, never a problem! Thanks Dunn- Edwards for hiring such great employees.

We had also thought the walls were more of a tan color, but soon learned it had a slight gray hue we didn't love.. at Dunn Edward's there is so much to choose from that it can kind of be overwhelming, but we were in great hands when we ran into employee (color expert in my eyes) Cydney! She was super helpful and took time to figure out the color we wanted, also gave really great advice when deciding a color. I think the owner gave us these peel & stick sheets which was very helpful to narrow down what we liked.. major tip: do not stick it onto your wall directly because it will pick up the colors of your current paint, get a white poster board and place the peel & stick onto that to compare on different walls! (We didn't do it at first & ended up going with a yellowish color & had to switch paint half way through our project). Again, should've taken Cydney's advice the first time but again she suggested us 3 new colors & we got some pretty cheap samples to paint on the walls.. Would highly recommend this store & location, the customer service/ knowledge was very appreciated and we will most definitely come back for any other project! An idea for a dyi project recently brought us back to this location and I was surprised and appreciative when the employee politely suggested that our plan was really not workable. He could have just sold us some expensive product to create a mess with. Instead, he gave us his honest opinion which means we can trust him the next time.

And he didn't get up on a ladder to spray the wood facing the sky, and make sure he covered all surfaces. So some of the wood was still bare and naked. So I asked if Duration was good enough to be primer and paint both. Louie was very knowledgeable about difference between Duration and A100 and their highest quality paint (I think called Emerald). And how you could get away with not using a primer with Emerald, but iffy with Duration, primer would make the paint last longer. Louie gave me excellent service, educating me about SW paint and application.

This is a horrible location! I live closer to and usually shop the Bell Rd/Tatum store, and that…read morelocation is spectacular. All the managers/employees, especially Manager Jason, are awesome there. Unfortunately they were out of the Midea portable floor AC unit I needed and had to go to the N Hayden location. I had purchased this unit from the Bell Rd Home Depot location on May 29th, 2026, and unfortunately it already died. I filed a claim with Midea, and provided them with all necessary documentation. After several days of review, they sent me a "Return Goods Authorization" (RGA) for a direct exchange at Home Depot. I originally went to the Bell Rd Home Depot, but they were sold out of the unit. They were very nice and called the Hayden location, who had the item in stock, and had them set it aside. I drove 25 minutes to the Hayden location and went to customer service with my form and unit. They had the new unit waiting. The customer service employee had never seen the form. I asked her to call a manager, as a manager should be familiar with this form and process. It took her about 20 minutes to locate the manager via phone. When she finally located the manager, Travis, she explained the situation to him. Travis never came to the Customer Service area in person, and on the phone, he just said that he would not exchange it. I told her he is wrong, I have all the documentation and he should at least come look at it because this is pre-approved through Midea and Home Depot. Travis refused to present himself in person, and they sent me packing, refusing to exchange. I hauled my merchandise back out to the parking lot and into my vehicle, and called the Home Depot customer service line. I explained the situation and the customer service representative was awesome and apologized regarding Travis. She asked for the case # and RGA# on my form and placed me on hold. She came back a short time later, apologized, and said go back in the store, that she spoke with Mr Travis, and they would exchange it like they were supposed to. She said I would probably see Travis back at customer service when I went back in. So I went back in, of course no Travis to be found, and they did exchange the unit like they should have. The employees were not overly friendly, but I understand they were following Travis' direction. Travis is a HORRIBLE representative for Home Depot and he represents the worst in customer service and not what Home Depot is known for. My guess would be this isn't their first issue with him. If you do have to shop this store, just hope you don't have to deal with Travis. Travis, at the minimum, you could've done your job. For me, I'll avoid the Hayden location and continue to shop the Tatum/Bell store as they represent everything great that Home Depot is known for!!!
