We recently moved into a new house that had flat paint & soon realized it was extremely hard to keep clean so we were recommended to switch to a satin finish that is both easy to clean yet not shiny on the walls! We had also thought the walls were more of a tan color, but soon learned it had a slight gray hue we didn't love.. at Dunn Edward's there is so much to choose from that it can kind of be overwhelming, but we were in great hands when we ran into employee (color expert in my eyes) Cydney! She was super helpful and took time to figure out the color we wanted, also gave really great advice when deciding a color. I think the owner gave us these peel & stick sheets which was very helpful to narrow down what we liked.. major tip: do not stick it onto your wall directly because it will pick up the colors of your current paint, get a white poster board and place the peel & stick onto that to compare on different walls! (We didn't do it at first & ended up going with a yellowish color & had to switch paint half way through our project). Again, should've taken Cydney's advice the first time but again she suggested us 3 new colors & we got some pretty cheap samples to paint on the walls.. Would highly recommend this store & location, the customer service/ knowledge was very appreciated and we will most definitely come back for any other project! We are OBSESSED with the color now.. by the way we went with the color White Fever (it's white but almost like a perfect cream almost on the walls without yellow or gray under tones). After making an appointment on line, which was very easy, Cydney guided us through the many options available. Manager Mike Preston overheard our conversation with another employee and stepped in to help. He explained so much to help guide us in the right direction and our different options. First time buying at DE, brought in a quart of previous owner's D-E Interior paint, asked for a gallon of the same. Sales person said OK, no mention of price, come back in 2 hours. NOTE: Prices are deceptively difficult to find for a reason, .... they're outrageous. I returned sfter 2 hours and one gallon of interior paint cost $56.46 which raised my eyebrows. I'm game for trying a high pri ed priduct once , but it better live up to its value. When I got home and used it the coverage was poor, very poor and required two coats. I called for a product and they said since the camelback location was closer that they could send it down and would be ready in the morning. With this location you severely have to follow up. Otherwise you will end up waiting 20-45 minute that you didn't count on since the order wasn't transferred. Make sure if you do a phone order that you get the name of the person who you spoke to so that you can keep them accountable. read more

The person who took my order later used my credit card information to make fraudulent purchases for almost $300. I have reported this information to my bank for investigation as well Dunn Edwards Corporate office. Do not give anyone at this store your credit card Information over the phone. This is the best store I have been to. I have had issues with Lowe's and Home Depot and getting the right color that I was trying to find and decided to go try Dunn. Solomon was awesome!! He told me about the app and the way you can use it to take pictures of a color and try to match it that way. It worked amazingly!! I also took samples back to him that I got and asked to lighten them up just slightly for other accents in the house and he knew exactly what I was talking about and was able to get it done fast!! I have been doing MULTIPLE paint projects on my home. I used to go to another facility but have found the 4305 E. Bell Road to be the best of all. The staff has always been courteous and most helpful in helping me to pick just the right blend of paint for stucco or interior walls, base boards and doors and door trims. The staff has also been able to explain which painting tools would give the best results....and even explained how best to do the painting...things I never knew which allowed me to get perfect results. Customer service is exceptionable with EVERY employee. They even take my paint in and out of the car for me...and always thank me for my business....and I have brought in lots of paint cans for them to mix up for me...fixing my old house to sell. Kudos to all of the employees. The best thing about this branch is their EXPERTISE in matching paint that has been on my walls for 5 years plus....from tiniest chip, not even the size that they need for the best match! Home Depot has never been able to make a match. All my matches have been done by Javier. He is excellent at matching the color PERFECTLY. He also explains and answers any of my concerns. This store caters to customer service everyone is extremely helpful. I recently called to see if they had an old record of house paint I bought. Unfortunately they did not but the service rep kept thinking and looking for information that might help, he even went as far as reading me our associations color pairing to see if I recognized the color name. I ended the call to see if I could find my records. In like 5 minutes he called me back and had found my color combination, I had also found it at home!
