We love coming in here for our house needs. More importantly my son truly enjoys the free kids workshop and the member gifts each month. The service is great minus a few bad eggs but when we run into these team members we generally just excuse ourself and get another person. I've bitten flooring, trim, toolbox and many other things they always seem to have a good selection. Seems everything's growing up in price these days but that's the economy not Lowe's. *when to write a review* When one gets excellent service/customer care or totally ignored. Stopped for a quick look at their yard equipment to compare between brands. Selected one and could not find anyone nearby. I went to customer service and asked for help to unlock the door. We waited. I asked a second employee walking by. We waited. By then l sat on a seated mower, scrolled through emails, and social media. My husband went to ask. We waited. 40 MINUTES had passed! I decided to call their store number and told them what was happening. The call dropped. Husband asked another passing by employee. I called again. This time l heard a background conversation but not addressing me. When FINALLY someone walked up! There were several other customers waiting around who eventually left during that time. There should be a protocol in answering requests with a follow up acknowledging. Not cool that we waited this long just to unlock a door! read more

I purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's that is located in Lancaster, California. On 7/15/2025, my delivery arrived. Exceptional, professional, and courteous were the three delivery young men. I do hope the Lowe's manager will identify the manager of these young men and express how pleased I was. They appeared so terribly young, yet highly exceptional. I don't usually leave reviews, but after what happened to me at this Lowe's location last month, I couldn't stay silent any longer. I approached a shift lead named Ian for help, and the moment I did, I could tell I wasn't going to be treated with basic respect. His whole attitude was off -- dismissive, irritated, and honestly just nasty for no reason. Then, out of nowhere, he started making these so-called "jokes" that were extremely uncomfortable and racially charged. I don't care how he meant them -- they were offensive, and they weren't okay. He goes "hey darkie, I have a wife just a little darker than you, you know what they say.. the darker the berry the sweeter the juice" then he follows up with a laugh and tells me he was just "joking" are you fucking serious? This man was definitely over 25. As a Black woman, I know when I'm being singled out or talked down to. The way he looked at me, the tone in his voice, the kind of "jokes" he thought were funny -- it was all unacceptable. This wasn't just bad customer service. It was unprofessional, inappropriate, and yes -- it felt racist. I called the store afterward to report what happened, hoping someone in management would take it seriously. No call back. No follow-up. Just silence. So now I'm leaving this review to make sure it's known. If Lowe's wants to keep customers like me -- and protect their reputation -- they need to deal with this kind of behavior head-on. No one should feel disrespected or uncomfortable just for walking into a store. Do better, Lowe's. read more

I came into this Lowe's location about two weeks ago, and my experience was so upsetting that l've debated whether or not to say something -- but after trying to call and report it with no real response, I feel like I need to speak up. A shift lead named lan was the person I interacted with, and from the start, he was incredibly rude. He seemed irritated that I even needed help and talked to me in a way that felt belittling and unnecessarily aggressive. The way he spoke and carried himself made me feel extremely uncomfortable - like I was being judged or looked down on for reasons that had nothing to do with my actual questions or behavior. His tone and body language made it feel almost personal, and honestly, it gave off an energy that felt discriminatory. On top of that, he didn't seem fully present -- something about his behavior made me seriously question whether he was sober or fit to be interacting with customers at all. I tried calling the store afterward to express my concerns privately and give them a chance to address it, but no one followed up or seemed to take it seriously. That's what pushed me to finally leave this review. It's disappointing that someone in a leadership position would treat customers this way. Lowe's should be a place where everyone feels respected and safe, and this was far from that. I hope management does better in handling situations like this going forward. read more

!REVIEW RERURN POLICY before you buy here....I had a bad experience, after buying a lot of stuff from this store for a project that lasted months, I came to return some items that I didn't used, everything packed island in good condition, the returns desk lady was very rude and told me I can't return items over 90 days, I asked for their return policy and said it's everywhere, I had proof of purchase but she did not wanted to even give me store credit or partial credit. BUYER BEWARE!! This is my second gas range from Lowe's on Ave K, and its faulty. The Menu bar to set the clock, lighting and sound volume does not work. The first stove was an LG that was faulty and leaked Carbon Monoxide. So now, not trusting an LG product I exchanged it for a Frigidaire Gallery Gas Range, only to also not work. It seems they sell faulty appliances. Maybe that's why they have a short 48-hour return policy. Since it's been over a week ago that I had this exchange, they will not take it back. Ron is a rock star he saved us so much aggravation. I bought two Craftsman Trade Stack Systems and one was missing an adapter piece that you have to have for the tool box to snap together. We called craftsman and it has been a total pain. They said we had to send the whole system into craftsman for them to send us one adapter piece. So ridiculous, so we thought we were out of luck because I bought it for a Christmas present and for months dealing with Craftsman there was so way to resolve this issue. I purchased a Pit Boss 850 Pro online for $499 during a Labor Day sale at the Lowe's location on 730 W Ave K, Lancaster, CA. I opted for assembly at the store for convenience. However, when I unwrapped it at home, I discovered several issues: scratches, bent wheels, missing front shelf, screws, meat probe, an unrelated part, and no grills inside. I contacted them, and they suggested it might have been taken from their "needs parts" section. I asked if I could exchange it at the Bakersfield location (7825 Rosedale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA) since it's closer to me. However, at Bakersfield, they said they couldn't exchange it because I didn't purchase it from their store, despite the return policy indicating I could return it to any Lowe's location. They issued a return instead of an exchange, contrary to my expectations, although they loaded up a new Pitboss in the back of my truck. While I was driving off with a new Pit Boss 850 Pro, a staff member stopped me, claiming I hadn't paid for it, as it was a return, not an exchange. The manager confirmed they only process returns, so they unloaded the grill from my truck without my consent while I was on the phone trying to resolve the situation. It took three weeks for the refund to reach my account, and despite making a complaint to customer service, I haven't received any follow-up or resolution in almost a month. This company just lost over $6k of potential business from me. Long story short, because she wouldn't make a correction when I initially placed the order, Andrea sent the wrong contractor out to measure for my countertops and didn't even have the decency to apologize for her mistake and causing the extreme delay and me taking off work for the wrong contractor. I had to start all over and alter my plans again for another one to come out. I was not joking when I told her manager's manager I will not work on this project with Andrea. Who leaves a message today but the person I said I will not work with. I will buy my countertops elsewhere. There should be better customer service. The associate that assisted me yesterday at the return station was very rude I wish I caught her name. Her energy was very unnecessary negative she's a part of the problem that we're having in this world. she was so young and it was uncalled attitudes like that shortness your days. Be kind to people. I watched her deal with three other customers before me each of those customers did not have a receipt and all of their products was opened and used she did not go over their products she did not ask for ID she did not ask any question she just returned their products without any problems when it was my turn which my product was in the bag never been open/used and I had a receipt she decided to proceed on asking me for my ID she asked her manager if she can go over my product to make sure that I didn't use it. Went to Lowe's on June 29th. Was looking for pool supplies and a 25 ft extension cord. My wife went inside to find an extension cord which is in aisle 13 and we were in the garden shop. Kayla, Victoria and another associate, I'm sorry I don't remember their name. These three individuals gave my wife exceptional customer service with assistance and retrieving the cord she asked for. Purchased a Char-Broil online they offered an assembled product &free delivery, waited 1.5 weeks for delivery - had 1 delay. Once the grill arrived it was wrapped in plastic, didn't think anything of it. Roughly 15-20 mins later I unwrapped the grill & boom dented uncovered damaged doors, damaged frame, scuffed solid top & loose screws!!! And to top it off - I installed the propane to burn-off the residue & behold the ignition button isn't functioning. Called Lowe's chatted with the delivery department - allegedly they ordered a service call, long story short wasted $410+ should of went to HD!!! read more

I really like this Lowe's. It is always clean and well-organized, the employees are very helpful and friendly, and the prices are reasonably low. In fact, this is my primary hardware store for all of my hardware needs. I have purchased many items at this Lowe's, from light bulbs and sprinklers to a refrigerator and clothes washer/dryer. Just about anything I need is always here. Throughout all of my visits at this location over the years I have always left this store pleased. Believe me, I've constantly got a running list of all the things I need to buy at Lowe's, and then I can be Mr. Fix-it around the house. I don't know why the Yelp rating is so low because we had a really great experience at Lowe's today. We walked in and within a very short period of time found this fantastic salesperson who knew her way around the store, and was great when it came to making product recommendations. She was so helpful, there were no words! I just wish I could remember her name. Anyway, we looked at a lot of household hardware for various rooms which we're thinking of changing out, purchased some refinishing materials, looked at lighting, sinks, you name it. Really enjoyed hanging out there even though you could not call us DIYers. Fun, nice people, and I totally love the fact that people can bring their dogs (saw some beautiful and well-behaved ones). I'm giving one star because I don't have the option to not give any. I purchased cabinets to be installed in July 2021. We are now in September and the cabinets are still in the boxes sitting in my livingroom. Similar issue with my kitchen remodel. I waited nearly nine months for the install. This has happened to several people of color that i know who also have homes here in the Antelope Valley area.
