This is an update to a previous review that I left. I purchased a refrigerator that I absolutely loved, however, it stopped working after only a month. Arrow sent a repairman out and a part had to be ordered. They expedited the ordering process and sent out a loaner refrigerator in the meantime. But, in the meantime, I had lost all of my food and I was getting ready to host my family for Thanksgiving, I was not happy! The repairman came out and installed the new part but the refrigerator still didn't work. So they told me to just come in and pick out another refrigerator. I didn't see anything that I liked or that I felt would compare to the one I purchased, except one amazing, way over my budget, Samsung model! Carol hesitated to make the exchange but I reminded her of the inconvenience I had experienced as well as all the food I'd lost just days before Thanksgiving. Carol finally agreed to give me the Samsung model and delivered it just 2 days later; so far so good. I am extremely impressed with the awesome customer service I received and their willingness to go above and beyond to help. Things could have been so different had I purchased from a big box store; I'm sure they would not have worked so closely with me. Carol took all my calls, returned calls and made me a priority. My 92-year-old Mom recently needed a new dishwasher since her old one broke down. She remembered that her "old faithful" came from Arrow Appliance decades ago, so she visited the store and found the perfect replacement. Everyone in the store was solicitous, respectful, and extremely kind to my Mom. They bent over backwards to assist her. Professional licensed plumber, Chris, showed up promptly on delivery and installation day with the new dishwasher. It was very difficult to remove the old dishwasher, but he did it--AND put the new dishwasher in place--with skill, professionalism, positivity, and patience. His demeanor was very pleasant and kind. Buyer Beware!!! Abusive customer service Discriminated against!! First store we went to with plenty of cash on hand to buy anything we liked. Wanted to support local business and buy used for the environment. Was judged and verbally abused by a staff member.My daughter and I are both disabled and am hard of hearing/deaf. We were not spoken to and started walking around the store checking out fridges. Had settled on a nice one when a staff member came up and threatened us and postured aggressively. We both looked at each other sadly and left store with cash in hand and went to Best Buy. Was absolutely horrified by treatment by this woman and could have been handled very differently. Surprising quite a great place if you can't buy brand new. My wife and I will return to pick out a washing machine. They stand by a warranty that was quite unexpected. Our saleswoman was very polite. Til today when we got our new fridge it had a dent and and a big scratch in it on the front door . Had my stove clock changed. They first charged me a serivce call cause the lady there ordered to wrong part. Then they brought the write part and now they did a terrible job putting it back in. Now the screws are coming out. And they refuse to fix it. I have to pay for there mistake. Total rip off and sloppy work. They are a total rip off !!! A couple weeks ago I needed to replace a cooktop. I was under a deadline to get it working and it was a nonstandard size. I took it to Arrow Appliance on a Saturday to hopefully have it repaired by the next week. I was told the tech person would call me back by Monday to give an estimate. Tech person didn't call. I called Monday and Tuesday afternoon to check on it only to be told that they left for the day. I didn't get a call back until Friday. They were helpful, but ultimately told me that they couldn't get the parts to replace it nor find generics. I bought a new cooktop somewhere else but I was hoping to have the old one repaired to save time. I applaud the tech person for trying to help, but I can't ignore that she didn't look at my cooktop until almost a week later. If I didn't buy a new one as a precaution I would've missed my deadline and failed an upcoming inspection. I will not say I'm never coming back. If I'm aiming for a used appliance I'll definitely check them out. I'm just disappointed at the lack of transparency with this store. read more

I'm giving them one star because YELP doesn't allow you to give them ZERO stars. This company is an absolute joke. Their technician they sent out was horrible! Didn't know what he was doing, spent the first 30 minutes making excuses why he didn't feel he could fix it because he wasn't sure what the codes were (Bosch oven) and then couldn't pull the conduit out far enough and rather than realize it was the angle he was pulling it as.. said to my brother-in-law "this must have been a remodel and they didn't leave enough slack in the wire". What an idiot, so I told him how to take off the wire so he could remove the stove and then he would see that that wasn't the case and that there was PLENTY of slack in the conduit... which there was!!! Okay, fast forward to the point where he then said.. It's too late for him to call Bosch to give them the code to see what the problem was..and he would call them first thing in the morning. Three days later and he still hadn't called back... and when we reached out to the company they said he was unable to contact Bosch, but he never called us back to tell us any of this, he just basically forgot about us. When you tell a customer you're going to do something, you should do it. And if for some reason your unable to do it.. you should call them and let them know you're having trouble but assure them you haven't forgotten about them or like this tech did which was to just blow us off. What a HUGE waste of $99.00.. and as for the technician... if you happen to read this... learn some customer service skills! Constantly laughing about not being able to fix something... is not funny to the customer who is paying you to fix it. This company was definitely a BAD choice and I hope, that future clients read this along with other reviews before choosing them. read more

When our dryer died and I realized how expensive new dryers are, I looked into Arrow Appliance. I had heard about them but never got to really use them. Based on the positive reviews I'd heard, I decided to give them a try. I went in, was immediately greeted by David, and purchased a dryer within 25 mins of me being in the store. It was a painless process - for the most part! Our dryer was delivered the following week by a wonderful human named Mike. When we went to use it that night, I was able to do one load before it vomited up an error code - and smelled like cats. I am highly allergic to anything cat. In a panic, I called - but they were closed. So I reached out via Facebook and was corresponding shortly after with someone who worked there. They said someone would contact me "first thing" the next morning. The next morning, before their official business hours, David called me and apologized. He didn't try to finagle his way out of doing the right thing, didn't say they would send a technician. Instead, he said they would deliver the same exact model of the dryer the next day, which is a day they don't normally deliver to my area. True to their word, the new dryer was delivered the following day and I am happy to report it is working perfectly, sans the cat smell! I am so pleased and happy with their service. They offer a 6 month warranty in case anything goes wrong (which hopefully, nothing does). Their prices were fair and all of the people I encountered were nothing short of amazing. read more

What a great company! First, they will tell you up front that the very reasonable service call is only $45 and it does not count towards the repair. This is fine; their local "competition" tells you that their $75 service call charge goes towards the repair if you allow them to repair it. This is total BS as I found out recently when the service tech billed me an amount WITHOUT deducting the service fee. I immediately called the office and was simply told that the service tech "knows the correct amount to charge. Really? That's when I called Arrow the following week after my 15yr old LG washer flashed the FE ERROR CODE. Steve, a most knowledgeable tech in all things Washer/Dryer spent a good hour working on it while explaining every detail of the machine and what he was doing; this guy is a genius as he fixed the problem with a 30 day repair guarantee if the issue repeats; 3 weeks later and it's working perfectly all for only $45! Request Steve;You're welcome! Lastly, the beauty of this company is they have an expert for every appliance that specialize in 1 or 2 of them. The customer service here is unmatched. The knowledge is well worth calling these folks. It was a Saturday around 1pm. I was frantically getting things together for a family dinner. My wife was baking a cake and I was smoking some meats. My wife discovered that the oven wasn't working as I was discovering problems with my smoker. She had a cake that wasn't quite baked! I called arrow appliance thinking if I made my appointment or left a message I wouldn't forget to make my appointment. I was hoping I could get a tech out sooner rather in the week for my Fridgedaire oven. Jeri answered the phone on a Saturday!! Jeri then asked me some simple questions and was very knowledgeable about where to find my model number and everything. After looking up the part she believed it was, she checked with her Tech and explained the service fee. She even gave me an estimate over the phone. Nick arrived shortly after I got off the phone with Jeri. He had his eyes on the suspect part in no time at all. We were up and running so quickly I believe these people are super heroes. He explained how we weren't the first customer to experience our problem that day. That he had helped others out before getting our call. Arrow Appliance sent out Steve, a Washer Repair Guy as the Washing Machine I bought from Arrow started leaking from a bad Water Solenoid. Steve was great, he had to remove my Washer from my Mobile Home Twice to get Balanced Correctly. It only took him about 30 Minutes to replace the Part but, it took him over an hour to remove and replace my Washing Machine twice to get it to sit correctly. Unfortunately I didn't have any money to give him a tip and I apologized to him. He laughed and said, "No Worries, I get paid for doing this." Nothing but good things a gentle giant standing at about 6'5 came out and repaired a link under the kitchen sink caused by the garbage disposal. Water was running from the dishwasher we thought on to the kitchen floor....NOT. This was our first time here since my husband colleges at Northrop recommended it and mentioned they had a second part to it and sold more than appliances. We decided to check it out not knowing they had a previous location ETC....a woman approached us and asked us if we were looking for something specific and since we weren't my Husband informed her he heard they had a second part to the store where the lady proceeded with "Again, I'm going to repeat my question, is there something you are looking for" my husband very kindly continued the conversation. This lady was extremely rude and had no customer service. Rule #1 in customer service is to treat every customer as if it was their first time there and kindly inform them. Based on the owners response here on Yelp. I can identify that it was her who gave such the horrible experience. It wasn't our fault her previous location burned down and we weren't aware. They were honest with us about our crappy LG fridge that is only FOUR YEARS OLD! It's an expensive fridge, too. Advised us about the Current class action lawsuit against LG for their compressors. So maddening because this fridge is a replacement for our our crappy Samsung fridge that was only 5 years old when it died. Before that, our refrigerators lasted 15+ years before we gave them away!
