My garage refrigerator died recently. Light was still working. Called them, but had to cancel due to unexpected work schedule. They were very understanding and just told me to call back. They came out and checked it. Unfortunately it was toast. So I mentioned that I would go and look for another one. The service person said he knew they were expensive, but asked what size I would need. I told him I had been looking just in case, but sooo expensive. He asked if I looked at their store. Afterwards I went there--- OMG. Extremely reasonable prices. Got me a new one just as big as the one I had. I could have almost bought two of them compared to prices at other stores. Awesome! Tyler was very polite and helpful, answered our questions, and it was a great experience dealing with him. We wanted a new freezer, but other stores had told us they were back ordered until as much as November through March of next year! Seriously! After searching online, we found models we wanted but they were all out of stock. Just on the off chance, we ran over to Le Bon Appliances and it was an amazing moment to be told they recently got 14 in stock, 8 sold very quickly, but yes, we could buy one. And we did. Apparently they get 20 calls a day from people asking if they have freezers in stock. Some other appliance stores don't have them based on my experience. Tyler and Curtis made the delivery same-day, took the old one away and set up the new one. And the delivery was made with a great sense of humor by both of them, which we enjoyed :-)! I just made a call to Le Bon Appliances to see if I could get my dryer fixed and I was asked what brand of dryer is it? I replied I have an LG dryer, literally his response was "we don't work on LG" and he literally just hangs the phone up on me before I can get another word in. I will never use this business in the future to fix anything at my house and I will make it a point to get the word around not to use them. If I can give zero stars I would!!!! The person that came out to look at my fridge was awesome very nice gentleman however the office did not call me to schedule an appointment for my part I've been without a fridge raider for over a week knowing I have small six children in my home they were extremely rude when I was calling to see when my part was to arrive and to schedule. Scheduling good luck if you work they do not give you a window they give you a day and it's between 9 AM to 6 PM arrival so basically you have to waste your whole entire day waiting for them. They never came to fix my part when I explain to them that I needed it to be done ASAP they told me to call my insurance company and get a refund from them when I asked him for his yelp page he hung up on me, I called back and he told me do what you have to do!!! Rude customer service is crap very unprofessional it'll be two weeks in two days and this has not been resolved yet. I will be calling my insurance company for my money back!!! The owner or employee that answers the phone has been rude all three times we have dealt with him- his time of voice and demeanor are awful and they do not guarantee their work. We had a broken latch on our dishwasher and they came to replace it. The latch ultimately began clicking open again and when I called to see if they would come back and fix the same issue that was supposedly fixed, he stated because I was not within the 30 day window, there was nothing they can do. We had a need to replace our kitchen stove and when we stopped in at Le Bon's appliance on 6th street in Palmdale we found exactly what we wanted for a very good price for a new stove. We did hesitate and called the next morning to say we wanted it,well the white one was taken so we have the black one. I have to say thank you to Tyler and Sal for their polite and friendly service. They gave us a time and stayed within it. I trust them along more than the box stores to come in set up test out and answer any questions we had. Coming from the same family of mechanical neophytes, my brother asked me when I became so good at household repairs. My answer, "The first time I looked at the bill from the repairman." I've used LaBons twice for appliance parts. The first time was after my wife told me the oven wouldn't light. A search of the Internet pointed to the "Glow Igniter" being faulty. So I went to LaBon and they had one in stock. I don't remember the price. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay to gamble on a part which I wasn't sure was bad, but far less than a new oven. I decided to take a chance .After getting the old part off and the new part on, I turned on the oven and it fired right up. The second time I used LaBons was for our dryer. Our dryer had been squeaking for a number of months. The last week, it sounded like the drum was rubbing up against the side. Squeaking was fine, I feared that the rubbing would burn out the motor quicker. I figured that much like a car belt that squeaks when it needs replacing, it was probably the belt which needed replacing as well. The belt was fairly easy to take off as well. So off I went, belt in hand to LaBons. They had two belts on hand a GE OEM belt for $31 and a generic belt for $21. I chose the generic belt. Both were a bit higher than I expected, but still much cheaper than calling a repairman or buying a new dryer. I came home, installed the belt, turned on the dryer. No squeaking, no rubbing. Both times I used LaBons, I told them the part I wanted and the brand. They were able to look it up and give me the correct part each time. They are also a local "Mom-and-Pop" shop and I always try to support locally owned businesses. So far, everything has gone smoothly. The only downside I have seen so far is they do not offer refunds on parts. I guess they have been burnt too many times by guys like me gambling that they know what part they need and losing. Another minor downside is the place is in the "not-so-nice" part of town. read more

This place was extraordinary. They came to my rescue after a failed oven repair with another company. This other company had even attempting to repair my double over for 7 weeks without any success. They made me wait for 2nd opinions and parts that took over 3 weeks to come in and then they were the wrong part. Le Bon took over the job. They came out with a few days. Curtis and Tyler were great. They did an excellent job of assess the problem and they actually looked at the oven. They were nice and very considerate with the appliance and my home. They were honest with the process not guaranteeing any specific timeline. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call only one week later and they had the parts and were ready to repair my over which had not been working for over 8 weeks no thanks to the horrible first company. Curtis, Sal and Tyler came over. They replaced all the parts in a quick and efficient manner. Again they did an excellent job with the repair. And a special thanks to Don who did the research and got my parts so quickly. I 100% recommend them for any repair with appliance. I support local business, so I was surprised by the way I was treated by LeBon and its tech Larry. I called Le bon for an estimate on my GE fridge that's wasn't freezing all the way. Larry the tech was sent out within a couple days. He had absolutely NO customer services skills, and acted like he was bothered the whole time he was at my house. Turned out to be the "fan" and it had a price tag of just under $300. The day after the fan was replaced; I called them to tell them that my fridge had gone from foods being 70% frozen to 0%. Larry came back out again and he wasn't happy about it. His attitude was negative the whole time. He messed with the freezer, never explaining what he was doing or what went wrong. He hastily put everything back together and rushed to leave after telling me it was the condenser. I tried to ask him questions and he basically rushed down the stairs and said the office would call me with an estimate. The next day he called to inform me the part would cost $1000 not including labor. I was pissed! He told me it was my fault because I didn't replace the fan immediately and he began to scold me. His tone was sarcastic, rude and belittling to me. I called the office to complain. I spoke with Don the manager and he was as rude and just as useless as Larry. At no point did he make me feel like my complaint was valid. They obviously do not care about customer service or customer loyalty. I found out this store is in trouble! The owner is trying to hand the family owned business to the son who has zero interest in appliance repair. They lack leadership, customers service skills and burnt out employees who hate their job. Save yourself the trouble...go elsewhere. Believe me. They will not work with you. Do not expect anything but unprofessional service, high prices and attitude starting with the lady who answers the phone, to the owner, office manager and the tech! We bought an oven from Le Bon that they told us was in perfect working condition. We got home and hooked it up and the clock is broken. I know it may seem not important if the clock works but we just remodeled our home and everything is great except the oven. It's frustrating. I called Le Bon to see if they could do anything and they said no. Now I'm stuck with a broken clock which the woman said would probably cost more to replace than the oven did. I told her if I had known the clock did not work I wouldn't have bought the oven and she basically didn't say anything. I foolishly trusted them, next time I won't. read more
