Update 5-1-20 AVOID !!! I called on 4-27-20 for 5 gal plants (6 at $16 ea)..I was told they would call me on Tues or Thurs. Called on Friday only to be told they couldn't get 5 gallons BUT ! they could get me 15 gallons for $90 ea. I try to spend locally, but when they pull this B.S. I go elsewhere or on the net. Chances are you will be "played" at this business.

Fruit tree that seems like a dud

The people are nice, my wife and I enjoy seeing Jerry the cat. My wife and I moved to the AV from Los Angeles. We want to have fruit trees. I got their Persimmons tree, which was $70. All of them did not have leaves, just a stick. I had it for three weeks now, been watering it, checking the soil and I feel I just been watering a stick. I feel it is now a dud and it is a waste. I'll but their little plants for future purchases but not for trees.

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST nursery in the Antelope Valley. Last year, we brought home blight in some plants from Lowe's. It spread throughout my garden and made me very sad. I asked the woman I buy my potting soil from at America's Best Hydroponics in Palmdale for a recommendation on where to buy plants in order to avoid blight this year. She sent me to Quartz Hill Garden Center. The plants I bought were about $1 more per plant than Lowe's but they were easily twice as big and healthy! I was so pleased with my tomatoes and peppers, I went back the following weekend and bought sunflower seeds, watermelon, squash, eggplant, raspberries & 3 fruit trees. Plus, 1,500 ladybugs :) The staff is friendly, helpful, & knowledgable! The plants and trees are all so happy and healthy. They have a wonderful variety of fruits and vegetables and so much more. The owner is super friendly and always willing to answer questions and offer advice. I will never buy plants or trees again from anywhere else! The man who helped me pick out my trees even explained to me (without being asked) how I should water them and transplant them! MOST importantly, we brought home NO BLIGHT!

Came here looking for flowers. Not much of a selection. Place is small. It took us 10 minutes to find someone to help us.

We get most of our plants and garden veggies here. Everyone is always so helpful and willing to help us make an educated decision.

This is a very "Mom&Pop" kinda of place, so I don't mind helping them out. But now to specifics: I have a lawnmower that a friend gave me about four years ago. I have no idea how old it is, but I doubt he ever maintained it. In the four years I've owned it, I hate to admit it, but I've never maintained it either. Well about a year ago, the fuel line disintegrated, and I meant to fix it, but didn't until about a week ago (when the weeds finally got really bad!). Anyway, I replaced the fuel line, but then couldn't start it. I pulled it apart, but I just didn't have time to deal with it, so I looked around town for a repair place. When I talked to the lady on the phone, she seemed nice, so I gave them a try. I brought my lawnmower in, and it was a mess. When I received it back, it ran great! They did a tune-up on it, and gave it a new blade. The mechanic reset the governor so that I'd get max power when mowing. AND, they even cleaned my lawnmower! Now it looks almost new, and runs great! I was pleasantly surprised!
