Customer service is great, but I do not recommend this store at all. Home Depot and Lowe's are just 15 minutes away. I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna be overpaying for stuff just because it's a family owned business. In this case, I had no choice, but it's not OK. Bigger businesses are not that far away. Came in to buy baby chicks, the customer service front female somewhat friendly but found it rude that we were rushed to pick baby chicks all because another caucasian customer came in pushing her to go help her while she was trying to help us, but the comment of pushiness to choose quickly "because she had a line" the one customer at the store ,mind you there was other employees but this lady kept pushing this employee to help her and intetputing rudely everytime we had a question that the employee directed her attention to the second customer rather than us who were being attended first. Great local feed store! We raise 4-H animals and horses, and they always have what we need. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It's nice to have a place that really understands the needs of people raising livestock. Definitely recommend if you're in the Antelope Acres area. read more

Love this local store! It has a lot more than animal feed. They're pretty well stocked on things like batteries, paint, light bulbs, firewood and I may regret this; cleaning supplies. While they don't carry everything one might need, they do carry a LOT, and unique items as well. I'm always finding nifty gadgets in their store I never knew existed. I like going to their store because the staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. You might pay a few bucks more there, but if you think about how much you'd spend in gas going to WM, HD, Lowes, etc., it comes out the same. Keep up the good work and the friendly staff! read more

This store is right around the corner from most West Lancaster/Quartz Hill residents. Super friendly and helpful staff. They have a terrific inventory of almost everything from A to Z. High end items too, not chintzy things which rust or break when you get them home. They even stock gardening tools, sprinkler heads and strange things that you would think that only a large, big box store would have. JUST ASK!! If they dont have something which is rare to never, they will order it for you. So which will it be? Are you going to drive for 15 minutes, fish around for hours with NO HELP in a large store and hope to find what you want, or are you going to go right around the corner, be personally greeted and helped to find your item (s) and be out in under 10 minutes??? I know how I like to spend my time and it certainly isnt commuting to a huge, unhelpful albeit massive shopping experience. BUGS BUGS EVERYWHERE! Went there for some Canida dog food, went out to the patio area, first thing I noticed were the thousands of tiny crawling little bugs on the floor and all over the dog food. Now I'm no rocket scientist here, but I'm betting the bugs were inside the bags as well, and I am not going to bring bugs back to my home. I left, never to return. read more
