This is a pathetic business to try to support. We attempted to purchase a tractor through them and found them disinterested and lacking professionalism. They list a $45,000 sale as we purchased elsewhere and had it shipped. I would drive to Bakersfield and support the main business but am surprised the Lancaster location is still in business. I own a JD5075E and have always admired JD. This dealership is however the worst kind. I wanted to replace my hydraulic top link and was told to wait several months on the off chance that Gearmore could provide a replacement. I suggested maybe a JD version was told no luck. I was not offered any other alternative. Turns out a very good replacement could be had through Tractor Supply easy order, prompt delivery and quality product and hoses. Kern's response: its an inferior product. I replied by saying the Gearmore broke and it should not have. Hard to believe the John Deere company cannot out service and beat Tractor Supply but there it is folks. Lazy and ineptitude will get you last place every time. Danny in service is helpful however he is under restriction as to what he is allowed to do. read more

Danny and Jimmy are the best John Deere mechanics because they don't give up until they solve the issue, R.D.O told me to solve the issue I needed to replace all the diesel fuel lines and injectors, but Danny and Jimmy got it fixed for one tenth the cost RDO Vermeer wanted to charge me. Jimmy & Danny spent 2 days on computers trying to fix and reset the error codes and solve the problem so it won't happen again. Andy was the guy who helped me get the $8,000.00 credit card, he was very helpful and friendly and got me approved and with a card on paper on the spot, then I went over to Maria, who is always extremely patient and helpful and works the cash register and front store portion, she printed out for me the details on the Sthil blowers models In wanted to compare, and helped me to understand the differences based on the literature, then Danny fired it ups and really made the differences evident. And I used the John Deere credit card on paper and left happy with ba fixed chipper and a new blower. The service department price for the work was very fair and I was happily surprised at the low service bill. read more

Worst dealership ever! We love John Deere and have different equipment- however we drive two hours away to get service or parts because this place will RIP YOU OFF! Horrible service and they don't want to help customers. We have been pleased with all other dealerships besides Kern Machinery! Not sure how they stay in business with their lousy customer service. read more
