Forget Lowe's and go to Home Depot! Even better go on Amazon! At least Home Depot's items are where they're supposed to be even if you can't find anyone to help you! Every time I come here there's not one person around to help. I had the bright idea to look up the item that I wanted and find out if it was in stock at this store. The Lowe's website will tell you the aisle and bay location of the item you're seeking. Home Depot does the same thing except Home Depot's location information is actually accurate. I went to HD first looking for the item and found it easily, but then I decided to go to Lowe's and get the item in a different model number because the one at Lowe's had better reviews on Amazon. With my cell phone in hand and the product pulled up telling me the aisle, bay, and price of the item, I headed in the right direction and found the location. The item wasn't there. There was no price sticker for the item. I searched up and down the aisle to no avail. I searched for someone in the area to help to no avail. I waved my hands in the air hoping they have security cameras somewhere and they would send help, but they did not. I headed to the service desk near the entrance to ask for help. They looked up the item and found the same location information I had. They called the plumbing department and no one answered. I sat down and started this review while I waited. About 5 minutes later someone who didn't work in the plumbing department walked by and the person at the service desk asked if he could help me. We walked to the same location together and looked again....nothing. He checked other aisles...nothing. He looked for the person who worked in plumbing...nothing. Meanwhile "Special assistance needed in plumbing repair" was announced over the speaker about 10 times...nothing. I left with NOTHING. Why aren't the products where they're supposed to be and why is it so hard to find someone to help at this store?! As an SCM professional nothing ticks me off more than going to a store and finding out that the store's system says something is in stock when it isn't or something is in a location where it's not. I know first hand that it's not that difficult and I'm willing to bet Amazon knows exactly how many of every item they have and exactly where the items they sell are located. On top of that they can save me a trip to the store and if I ever need help someone will contact me via phone or live chat in less than 5 minutes. Needless to say I ordered what I was looking for on Amazon and it will be at my door tomorrow! Do you see why people don't leave the house? Go out of business now Lowe's, Amazon is coming to get you. This is the worst Lowe's location I've ever been to. I refuse to go here anymore and now go to the Southlake location. They are always short staffed, have a ridiculously long line for customer service and returns, and I waited 30+ minutes for a curbside pick up order. read more

I am not one to write reviews but after continuous dissatisfactory service at this Lowes I felt compelled to let others know as well. This Lowe's is less than 1/2 mile from my house & is by far the most convenient home improvement store. I typically frequent this store once a week at minimum & each time I leave with some level of frustration. Lines are long / understaffed on returns & checkouts. Employees are uninformed & apathetic, management is non-existent & prices at the register too frequently do not match the listed price on the shelves. This store is very poorly mismanaged. After reading other reviews it sounds like Ben Reeves should be the store manager! Bottom line is rather than going to the corner Lowes from now on I will make the 8 mile drive to Southlake & get my home improvement needs from Home Depot read more

I purchased an appliance & had the worst customer service I have had in a while. I had to contact them for a delivery date and the lady was totally rude, they didn't install the dryer or level it or anything. Glad delivery was free. HORRIBLE service & will know next time to purchase from a competitor and hope they care more for their customers. Lousy job Lowes. read more

Today we can call our Lowes kitchen remodel project elements complete (5 months). The Kraftmaid rep was out today and repaired the "touch to open trash cabinet." The Lowes contracted cabinet installation guys replaced the final two cabinet doors Monday afternoon. All the challenges, delays, and frustrations are over. We do love our cabinets - Kraftmaid. The soft close cabinets and drawers are just awesome! We love our appliances and our granite counters through Lowes. read more

Spent 10 minutes just trying to find a single person to help, a man named Jason walked by and he was extremely rude. He then proceeded to take a phone call and yell at his child through the phone in front of us. Called another employee over, he was complaining about his job from another aisle over-came over to our aisle and was still complaining, he was rude and not helpful. Everyone seemed to be complaining about something and didn't seem to interested in helping us find what we were looking for. Should really work on customer service. read more

Worst customer services I've ever experienced. 6pm and no one is working the register. I'm forced to use the self check out. I get the "unrecognized item in baggage area" error and can no longer check out. There is a black woman/employee there right next to me but she was too busy looking at pictures on her phone to help. I got over to the registers where there are two guys just goofing off/talking to each other. I ask them if they could please check me out and they said I would need to ask the lady at self check out. I finally decided right then and there I'll make home depot my new store and never go back to this lowes location. I know I'm not a huge customer but I do spend around 10k a year at either lowes or home depot. read more

I've just decided I'm tired of being treated with disrespect as a consumer I believe that (as I do in my job) the customer should be treated with courtesy and sine bit of respect. After all without customers like me, these people would not be employed. I was simply at the Euless, TX Lowe's to pick up an on line order at approximately noon on 1/6/2018 and was unfortunate enough to be 'serviced' by Kelsey. This person should NOT be in a customer service position. The 'snottiness' began at the time I walked in the door. Barking out orders about what forms of ID's and credit cards that she needed from me. There was never a smile; or "Can I help you?" or even a "Thank you" in this girls vocabulary. Lowe's...my advice...please think about who you put on your front lines. At this point I will happily drive further down the road toe Home Depot to avoid such treatment again. read more

I buy the vast majority of my annual plants and bulbs here. The garden dept. is great and friendly. I have scored rose bushes for $7 dollars. I have found gems on the clearance racks. Their plants seem to be very healthy. And if you need something weird like a new aerator for your kitchen faucet, the staff will happily help you find the little gizmo. Once when I had a horrible day and must have looked it, a staff member gave me a hug. Granted, that was way beyond the regular service but their staff is always nice to me and I have been shopping here for four years as a result. read more

This customer service at this store was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Joseph Mills should not be in a management position and is a flat out liar! This store does not stand behind the products that Lowes sells and does not know the policies or procedure of how to handle the return of major purchases. Spent $450 on a new plumbing snake that broke after literally 1 minute of use. This store refused to give refund or exchange and had absolutely zero concern for our situation. Cared more about getting home then helping us (we were there 20 minutes before closing and were in a desperate situation with toilets over flowing at home). Manager told me he would be happy to help the next day but was off and not working at all that day when I called back the next morning. Because of their bad customer service it caused us much more $$ having to take time off work the next day and rent the machine we had purchased from Lowes that broke. Dallas location happily helped us the next day. They didn't have another snake in stock but refunded our money with no argument. Difference of night and day in customer service!!! This is the best Lowes to go to. I pass two of them to come to this store. Bought some lumber the other day and had a question and I think his name was Andrew in the lumber department answered it and helped me load up my cart and checked me out at the register and even walked out to help me load it all up in my truck. This Lowe's has the best customer service. I'm not so handy, so for me this is the perfect place. Questle in the paint department is extremely friendly and was willing and able to show me exactly how to apply polyurethane to my dining room table. He even took the time to show me a sample using a paint stir stick. I have stopped shopping at the Home Depot closer to my house due to their lack of customer service skills and I was sick of looking for people to help me. I'll drive further for this Lowe's any day. Every time I come here and need something in the appliance section the guy that's supposed to help customers just sits there. Today I thought I'd give it long shot and see if he'd sell me a slide in range for my kitchen. Every word out of his mouth was no as we discussed my options. Came here today looking for a fern. The only ones they had were either dead or all bent and broken. Most of the plants looked to be in poor shape. But I'm no Botanist! The only ones that looked to be doing well, were the cactus. I ended up finding some beautiful ferns at Walmart. Go figure. read more

Very poor customer service. Have had items delivered twice now. Never received the morning call to tell me when it's suppose to be delivered. When I bought the items was told it would be a morning delivery but after noon when I hadn't revived any communication I called. Was told I should have gotten a call that morning. Didn't get. Never heard from the delivery person on the first item. Just showed up an hour late. Second time the delivery guy called and said they had left a message but on the wrong number. Wish there was less than 1 star. Worst experience ever for home improvement. Contracted for master bath renovation on 4/17/17 and was told it would take 2-3 weeks. It's nearly 2 1/2 months and the project ($20,000+) is maybe half done. Workers don't show up for a week at a time. VERY poor communication from contractor. Worst customer service ever!!!! Came in for some wire during my lunch break it was 8 ft long and I passed by several employees (male) and not a single person offered to help as I was struggling with it! Didn't even offer a cart or anything. Got to my car and realized my hands were bleeding and all cut up when I got to my car. Even as I was struggling to get it off the shelf there were two guys down in the lumber department sitting on their butt just watching me. I placed an online order on APR 03 for a delivery on the 5th. I waited giving them extra time and then called on the 9th. I was told they skipped my order but assured me that it would be delivered on the 10th. When the 10th slipped by I called and talked to a manager and he once again apologized and said he would deliver them first this Saturday the 11th. Saturday and Sunday went by and nothing once again. They finally brought my stuff today the 13th and I was missing a piece. They finally brought that but while checking my items the delivered me a wrong cart. The cart I purchased was 169 and the cart they brought was 119. I called and the assistant manager said she would look into it. I called the customer service number but they just take reports there is no managers there to talk with. After calling the store and getting transferred numerous times by the girl in the service desk and then getting hung up on I would never do any business with this company any more. The store manager was supposed to call me directly and nothing yet. To top it off they charged me a delivery fee that I was told would be compensated. Never again would I use these for any home needs. read more

We attempted to order a shower door from the plumbing department. We explained what we wanted and paid the $35 fee for someone to come measure our shower. The store notified us our estimate was ready so we returned to the store where we were told the shower door we selected wasn't entered into in their system so we would have to pay another $35 fee for someone else to measure again - now with a specific door entered into the system. Nicole in the cabinet dept was great! My husband and I are creative types, so we had all kinds of ideas, photos, etc. It was enough to confuse most people, but she handled us like a champ. She incorporated our ideas and pointed out minor adjustments needed to make our ideas practical. I've tried to buy and get installed flooring for a big part of my house 3 times there. First I couldn't get waited on 2nd young man told me they were out if the samples and to coke back in a few days. Then I would pay a estimator to come to the house. Later that would be refunded if I purchased from them. Yesterday I went still no samples. I asked the lady working in the department if the estimator would have samples She said no only the "project manager" had samples and she only came out the first time if I was doing a bathroom or kitchen. Terrific job and experience. August and my air conditioner went out. I tried to get an AC company to get it replaced with a Trane unit, had a tough time.. Lowes responded immediately, quoted same day and replaced the next!!! Awesome, and Thousands of dollars less for a better unit! I could not recommend more. Great job! read more

I don't review that often. The customer service lady kim was very rude and has no business in handling any customers. It felt like she did not want to be there and was being kept against her will. Working in customer service industry i know that its ok to have a bad day but when you come to work leave it outside the door. We simply asked her to swipe our card and find out when it was bought as we have misplaced the receipt. She kept insisting that their system does not allow that. Where as upon the managers arrival we swiped the card and printed the receipt. All I was asking to do is to check the date. If she did we would have followed the procedure. Sales industry is a great industry that puts food on my family's table. Just a few people like kim and her comitment towards the job makes all the sales industry look bad. I cannot believe that Lowe's at the Corporate level truly understands the severe lack of a viable level of service at their stores and in particular at the Euless, Texas store (although it's not much better anywhere else that I'be been). Went into the Euless store last week looking for a flat piece of aluminum to help secure one of the water drains from the roof to the yard. I wondered about the store trying to display an air of being lost and needing help to find this item. No less than 3 floor personnel walked past me and never asked if I needed help. Then I saw two employees chatting so I stood by them for several minutes waiting for a break in what was clearly was a personal conversation . Finally one of them looked at me with disdain and said "Sir?", which really irked me. They wanted to make sure that I knew I was bothering their exchange. I took the chance and described what I was looking for and one of them said "try isle 41". Went to isle 41 and could not find anything even close. I might as well been looking for a 1945 Panzer tank track. Got fed-up so drove 6 miles to an ACE Hardware where I was greeted no less than 1 minute after entering their store and I had exactly what I needed in less then five minutes. Moral of the story is drive the extra distance somewhere else unless you know exactly the location of what you are looking for at Lowe's. Of course next comes the check-out process which is an entire challenge all unto itself. Lowe's saving grace is that they are close to my home and I've made myself know the store lay-out to where I can find something without the expectation of getting any help from their floor people. Very sad. They could really be good with a even a small measure of quality customer support. read more

Just terrible experience. You have look for someone and ask for help and still get no where! I was looking for wheatgrass. Was outside looking and asked a man about the seed and was sent inside to look for it there, wasn't there. Had to track someone else to then help me. This guy had no clue what I was even talking about. He then went to ask someone else. Five minutes later we go back outside to the same guy that sent me inside. He stated well you asked for seeds, yes I did but Wheatgrass seeds not grass to plant!! I was then told after this long time consuming adventure that they DO NOT even sell wheatgrass. All I have to say is...this could've been prevented if the first guy took the time to listen the first time to what I was looking for!! read more

Yesterday I was at Home Depot on Industrial getting some planks and elbow mounts to make some shelves along with a stud finder, batteries, screws, and a screw driver. When I was at check out, she rang me up a bill twice the cost I had calculated in my head. Upon inspection, I saw the planks were 4 times more expensive than listed on the rack. I told her and she said, "go take a picture for me". So I did. I came back and some random employee breezed by saying "oh that price is for the ones above those planks". So I left my small items there and went to return some of the planks and noticed that the price was the ONLY one listed on the entire column. So I dropped off several of the planks and my elbow mounts, and came back to the woman about 2 - 3 minutes later and she checked me out for what I had in the buggy....when I asked about my other items I had left with her(not even 5 minutes beforehand) she said, "what items". I told her "the stud finder, batteries, screws, and screwdriver". She half-assedly looked around and said, "you took them with you". I said, "no, they were bagged up right here". She said "no, you took them with you"....we argued for a moment before I finally said "screw it, cancel my order" and walked out. Today I came to this Lowe's for my first time. Not only were they cheaper, and had an extra part that I needed that Home Depot did not, but EVERY employee I dealt with, from most departments in the store, from hardware, to tools, to lumber, to outdoor equipment, to pest control, to cashier....ALL OF THEM....were extremely friendly and very helpful. They were knowledgeable about items and there locations, and spoke to me as if they actually appreciated me coming in. As long as this Lowe's is standing, I will never go to a Home Depot around here again. I HIGHLY recommend everyone shop here instead of Home Depot. read more

I just can believe that Lowe's customer service has reached new lows (pardon the pun). When I first saw this store rating I thought it had to be a mistake. Three (3) Stars for a Lowe's store....No WAY I said, so I tried to buy a washer and dryer form this Lowe's. What fiasco.....in good faith paid cash for a Samsung washer and dryer promised for delivery the following Saturday. Sales person was to call me the previous the coming Thursday to confirm. That day came and nearly went so I called the sales person and asked about the delivery. He then said he had not found a dryer but would call me back "in a few" for an update. "A few" turned into hours so I called him back and said he could have the following Tuesday which was not our deal. I asked him if he assure me the dryer would arrive that day. His answer "well if you don't trust me then cancel the order". Hum!.....Long story short my wife and I decided we could not wait until Tuesday so we cancelled the order. The sales guy called back and told me that my wide had called to cancel and wanted confirmation. I told him yes that we canceled. He asked if we could take delivery of Wednesday and I said "no" . He then told me he had herd me say that my wide was going to be home Wednesday which was a complete fabrication. The next day went to get cash refund and the supposed Customer Service person acted offended and mad because I explained the story to a manager and not her. She not only shorted me on the refund but didn't even acknowledge a thank you when I thanked her.....nothing just that look..."get out of store"..... This Lowe's does not merit three (3) stars. Two (2) stars maybe. Take your money where it will be appareciated. read more
