I found the same parts at Jabo's Ace for under $6 and under $8 each. Unfortunately for anyone else, I bought out their stock. Super friendly employees at the front door greet you and they helped me by looking up this item and they directed to isle 13 where they have all the adhesives. You might be thinking why shoe glue, if you have expensive shoes you take them to be repaired depending upon the damage. In my case the rubber sole was coming off so this glue cost me $7 to fix them so went the cheap route. Winner! They were getting ready to put Christmas items out so some shelves were empty. They have lots of great Halloween decorations out so shop Ace Hardware to get your BOO on.

I'm not a builder, so I'm usually in there for light bulbs or flowers. I love the garden area, and I especially appreciate the indoor section for houseplants. That's not something every store bothers with. They have some of the friendliest cashiers I've run into, and just as important, no pushy salespeople. Nobody follows you down the aisle. If you need help you can find it, and if you don't, you're left alone to shop. I've bought a few appliances here, and I even signed up for one of their home visits to have my AC checked. That was a pleasant experience too, which isn't something I say often about anyone coming to my house to look at equipment. I also like the 5% discount when you use the Lowe's card. It's not much, but I pretend it covers inflation.

You'll often find beautiful plants that just need a little TLC, and you can leave with a basket full of great bargains for a fraction of the original price. There's also plenty of parking, making it easy to get in and out, even when buying larger items. What really stood out during my visit, though, was the phenomenal customer service. The ladies working there were absolutely outstanding--friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Elaine was a star. I was left standing and waiting for a manager approval while the only manager available, Barbara, was assisting another customer and simply stated, "It's going to be awhile." What is especially frustrating is that the manager approval for my return would have taken less than a minute. Why couldn't Barbara step away for 30 seconds to approve the return and then continue helping the other customer? Instead, customers are left standing around waiting for what should be a routine transaction. It's hard to understand why a large Lowe's location in one of the biggest metroplexes in the country would have only one manager available to handle customer issues and approvals. The employees on the floor shouldn't have to apologize for staffing decisions beyond their control, and customers shouldn't be stuck waiting indefinitely for routine transactions. Lowe's needs to do a better job scheduling adequate management coverage. Been waiting for 20 minutes and counting.... It must be embarrassing for a store to get a review while the customer is waiting. Up to 40 mins....

I told her that I have a medical exemption and she said they don't recognize any exemptions and to leave. This could have been handled without such a degree of rudeness. This employee has insured that I will never shop in that store again. You can't go around violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

I received assistance right away from one of the managers (Josh) with locating specific tools to cut the crown molding, as well as a specialty electric nail gun (not the one that utilizes an air compressor). His assistance made all the difference in the world, as I didn't have to return any merchandise nor make a second trip to NRH to obtain more tools and materials. The older lady with glasses at cash register (she usually answers the phone) was outstanding in her customer service demeanor, both on my initial visit and a later visit for a different at-home project. She definitely seems to know what she is talking about in terms of available inventory, and correct materials to use when posing a specific question. Further, the coupons offered by the store via internet promotion (sometimes daily or bi-weekly) turned out to significantly help on price reduction. Due to this alone, I highly recommend signing up for Harbor's reward program- it certainly pays an almost immediate return.
