I'm very fortunate to have both the big boxes and a couple smaller frys in the neighborhood. They all have their strengths, weaknesses, and personalities. I generally order onlune and pickup, and Lowe's has always been quick and friendly when I arrive. The merchandise for any projects I have is generally well stocked, with plenty of brands to choose from. The pricing is competitive and many times my best option. I'm a loyal customer to the value and price, so they definitely need to be. Today's project is sprinkler heads and nozzles for the yearly tune-up. 3 rotors and 3 nozzles need replacement. I wasn't there a minute until a team member was able to help me and send me on my way. That's kinda service is what keeps me checking Lowe's 1st. read more

Keller Lowe's - A Total Disaster That's Cost Me Hundreds! I have been a loyal Lowe's customer for decades and a MyLowe's Gold Member, having spent thousands of dollarson materials across dozens of orders. But this experience with the Keller, TX Lowe's has been an absolute nightmare--and it's completely halted an entire property renovation, costing me hundreds in penalties and labor fees. I placed a bulk order that was supposed to be delivered in the morning, as scheduled. Instead, after calling NINE times, I've been bounced around, hung up on, laughed at, and ignored. Their failure to deliver the materials at the agreed-upon time forced me to pay a $250 penalty fee to my contractors, who showed up to work but had nothing to work with. Does anyone at Keller Lowe's care at all? Because from my experience, the answer is a resounding NO. * Store leadership? Doesn't care. * David from fulfillment? I like a good hardware store, and expect to wait in a line to speak with an associate to ask a question, but I don't like to get to the checkouts and not have anyone at a lane. I don't care how much money a store might save for self-checkouts, it is extremely poor customer service. This is the reason I don't shop more with Lowes. Chris W deserves a big pay on his back. My wife and I went for a new dryer. He was very helpful with our questions. Then I spotted a sale on the Blackstone 28" flattop. I went to get a cart to load it up and Chris insisted that he would take care of it. He wouldn't hear otherwise. He took our dryer and heavy Blackstone box up front. What a horrible store to do business with if you are counting on them to uphold their delivery. While the driver, Jorge, was exemplary, their management and lack of anything resembling customer service drag it down to one star for me. They won't even answer their phone! I was on hold for so long, I finally just drove to the store, still on hold, talked to a manager, Ray, who was worse than worthless, all the while still on hold. Your yard looking drab and tired with the onset of winter? We'll roll on down to this garden shop and take your pick from a rainbow of colors in pansies, cyclamen, or more! Very nice selection. They still have Christmas trees yet too.. a good amount of choices for fluffing out that Christmas scene in the corner of your house. Good prices, customer service, and good looking trees... I think Santa might just shop here. One complaint... the Poinsettia are just very subpar. Very nice location with lots to offer. read more

I bought Lowe's Premium Warrant on a very expensive Frigidaire 4-Door refrigerator, instead of from Frigidaire. Lowe's offered 50% payback on water filters and air filters that are suggested to change every 6 months. You buy the filters from Lowe's, and then file a claim from the warranty, then they give you back 50% of the costs. This sounds great until you try to find the filters that you need at Lowe's or Lowe's.com. There always seems to be a shortage of these filters at Lowe's, but Frigidaire and Amazon don't have any problems keeping them in stock. Looks like a typical extended warranty scam. read more

More like, "Buy craftsman tools and maybe possibly come in and get it warrantied about after arguing with the miserable customer service workers." The policy has been confirmed several times by your management.. if Lowe's no longer sells the tool being warrantied, the next CLOSEST tool is given to the customer instead. I went into the Keller. Texas Lowes to purchase a ceiling fan. Lowes had a ceiling fan on display (item # 883805). It was displayed with a light on it and advertised for $99.98 (there was a sign showing $99.98). I asked the Lowes rep to confirm the price (to make sure the sign was for that particular fan) and he said it was. . . He then attempted to assist me in getting the fan but it did not have the light with it. The light shown on the display fan was in a separate box (item 1100336) for an additional $54.98. He asked me to wait for a minute. He came back with an assistant manager on duty. He pointed out that in small print below the item number it say "optional." The problem with this is that you cannot read it. I am six foot tall and the small typeface and angle made it impossible for me to read it. I told this to the AM and he did not appear to care that the customers cannot read that. . . I pointed out other ceiling fans that had no lights and that it appeared that this was just a new form of bait and switch. This is analogous to going to a car dealership and ordering a car and when you are signing the paperwork the finance manager asks Would you like a windshield for your car. That is only another $500. How about a steering wheel? . . . I asked if the GM would be in tomorrow and was told that he was going to be out for a week (I don't know if I actually believe him or not). . . I had to get this light tonight and had no other option but to pay the additional $54.98 (plus tax). What Lowes did by advertising the product like that was WRONG!!!!! For someone in a position of authority (the AM) to treat their customers with indifference and presenting an attitude like he was doing me a favor by allowing me to shop in his store is just as bad. Rather than being a Brand Ambassador for Lowes, it is people like him that makes want to do business elsewhere (with companies that value their customers). . . read more

First let me say that my parents use Lowe's to install many things and since the recent passing of my dad I am now in charge of doing everything he did My mother purchased a toilet that needed to be replaced and paid the 129 to have it installed. I asked about a valve to be purchased that day as well and was told no you won't need to worry about that(price 10.00) When the installer came to install the toilet (remember, mom paid 129.00) once he was done he said she owed an additional 250.00?! He said that there was a 50.00 charge for the valve ?!(remember the one I mentioned that I tried to have her purchase in store for 10.00 and was told she didn't need to purchase) he also said 175.00 to clean out the pipe!? My issue with this is that I was NOT told there could be additional charges of any kind and was under the impression the 129.00 was the fees. My mom is now on a very limited income and to pay almost 400.00 to install a toilet without my/my moms consent is shocking to say the least. My mother then tells me that the washing machine they installed less than 6 months ago has never worked properly and the garage door either?! (Had I known the issue with the previous installs before all of this I would have never chosen them to install this toilet. I didn't get a receipt or anything from the installer either. I'm very disappointed to say the least in the service quality and pricing and will be looking elsewhere for my moms future home needs. This review is regarding Lowes Installation Partners and not this store location; it just happens this is where the windows were purchased. I purchased a home that had a windows order and the windows have yet to be installed. The home was purchased December 2021 and I am writing this on September 2022. The initial installers dropped off the windows and caulk, but did not have a ladder to install. Said they would schedule a follow-up installation date and provided a # for me to call. After weeks of trying, we finally got a follow-up appointment and the installer was a no call/no show due to COVID. I understand people get sick, but at least have the common courtesy to call me so I am not waiting during the 4 hour window and then some; not to mention, I took PTO to wait on the installation. I called Lowes back and said they no longer do business with the initial company doing the installation and Installation partners scheduled another appointment. The second appointment did not go very well either. It was scheduled to rain and the installer cancelled the installation for that Sunday. I waited on Sunday from the 8:30a - 12am window provided and again no call/no show. I've left several messages with the Installation Partners number provided (469-646-4678) and they have yet to answer my calls or respond to my voicemails. Very organized and clean location the cleanliness hides certain unprofessional and rude ppl in management and also in what they call "head cashiers" one in particular who's name is Thalia. This woman stomps around the building with her negative presence speaking to customers and employees as if she's God's gift to Lowes talking down to them and dismissing valid situations. As a customer when I shop here and notice she's on duty I avoid her at all costs to bad for the employees I've seen ask her for help to get nowhere and the customers as well. I usually really like Lowe's but I VERY unhappy with them right now. Last week I ordered a gas grill online. I requested it be assembled and then I'd pick it up. I received an email confirming the order and that it would be ready by the 16th. Then...nothing. Today on the 21st I called asked about it. Eventually I was told it's still not assembled and it is not out of stock. When I asked WHEN it might get assembled, I wasn't given an answer other than, "Well, the guys will be there tomorrow." So I guess I'll call tomorrow and see if the store will bother to complete my order. I spent over $350 on this item and have been basically ignored. Probably one of the poorest customer service experiences I've had. From the beginning of being told I'd have to locate a nail gun in upstock, to the 40 minutes it took to get it down. To the cashier making me find a sku on my phone because the barcode was messed up. To the shopping cart guy telling me he just unloaded the racks so bring the cart back to the store as I'm walking out of the store. Worked in a hardware store in high school and am very understanding of people having bad days, but there was no effort put forth by the 6 employees I interacted with. read more

Went in to order a new battery for a lawnmower I bought there. I walked around for a while and none of the employees even gave me eye contact They said to go home to order it. Very friendly staff and apparently very helpful. I say "apparently" because when we asked for a suggestion of laminate flooring, we only specified that we wanted good quality and something that wasn't going to be short-stocked or discontinued in the near future because we were going to have to buy a few packs at a time over the next few months to redo our upstairs flooring. After finishing installation of the amount we purchased, we went back 3 weeks later to make our next purchase. To our dismay and annoyance, we were met with "this has been discontinued" so we need to go out to Hurst to buy some of what product was remaining! Corporate Customer Service is nothing but red tape and after being transferred to three different departments because we don't handle that I found out that I had to call the store. I called the store and they answered and asked if they could put me on a brief hold. 15 min. later I am still on hold. Been at this for over an hour this morning. Sorry this is going to be a long one. I am remodelling my home because we have to relocate to another state for work. This Lowe's is the closest to my home and I have been shopping there for around 15 years. First, the hardwood floor purchase. We wanted to put hardwood downstairs. We picked out some at Lowe's and arranged to have it installed by Lowe's. There was a choice of having it glued down or installed "floating." We wanted to have it glued because of the noise and "give" of the floating installation. The salesperson talked us into getting a floating installation because he said we would not have those problems and it would be superior to the glued installation. Well, he was wrong. When we walk across our new floors, you can hear the foam underlayment they used creaking and crackling. You can also feel the floor compress down because of the foam. Exactly what we told the salesman that we did not want. The salesman also told us that they would install pre-painted white quarter round along the perimeter of the floor. What he did not tell us is that the quarter round is only primered white. We are left with 100+ feet of primer white quarter round with a nail hole in it about every 10 inches and unpainted ends. We called the installer back and he said that they do not paint the quarter round. Had the salesperson told us this, we would have shopped elsewhere. The installers also left us with all of the extra material they sold us that was not needed. Plus they left all of the pieces of underlayment, flooring, quarter round that they only partially used. We were left to clean up the mess and take the extra stuff back to the store. Next, appliances. I replaced three of my appliances with ones purchased at Lowes. I did not pay extra for installation as I planned to install them myself. The first two installations went fine. On the third one, there was some needed custom ducting that I do not have the ability to create. I called Lowe's, thinking they could send an installer out. Nope. They referred me to a totally useless web site to find someone to do the work. I spent several hours finding someone who could do the work. I was hoping for a little more help than a web site. All in all, I was very disappointed in this Lowe's and since the above experiences, have been using another big box store nearby for my remodelling needs. read more

Lowe's made returning a ladder very easy for me. I put a ladder in the shopping cart online. Then I ended up buying a generator online instead. I forgot that I still had a ladder in the cart, and ended up buying both. I didn't notice my emails, until I realized the ladder was scheduled for delivery in just a few hours. I called the Lowes contact number and the woman was very pleasant and told me how to get a refund. Fortunately also, the delivery driver called me to tell me the delivery was at the house (no one was home). I told the driver that I no longer wanted the delivery and wanted a refund. He was very pleasant also, and said he would take the ladder back to Lowe's and make sure I got the refund. Order #738789707. This was all done very easy for me (a ladder won't fit in my car).
