    Calloway's is nothing new to gardening aficionados. This nicely-laid out garden center is a great place to find the larger selection that a true Nursery can provide over places like Lowe's, Home Depot or Walmart, in particular a selection of trees. I am fairly new to the planting scene,having just purchased a house that provides landscaping opportunities. We came here looking for a Chaste Tree (she like purple flowers) and found some at a higher price than we expected, though not unreasonable form a market perspective based on the few other places we've looked. We enjoyed browsing the floor, finding both full sun and shade-friendly plants, nicely trimmed and cared for. The succulents section seemed a little spare, but had plenty to look at. The store is clean, the staff friendly and we will be back!

    My yard was covered in Autumn weeds. I wasn't optimistic because I have used weed killer granules on my yard pretty often, with only moderate results. I took some weed samples to Calloway's on North Tarrant Blvd. They showed me some weed killer spray that they said would work (picture enclosed). I bought two bottles because I wanted to cover the yard adequately...The spray worked great, and didn't hurt the St.Augustine or Bermuda grass. The best lawn advice I have ever received.

    Never had the pleasure of meeting Yvonne ( Asst Mgr ), Maya ( Associate ), nor Jasmine ( Associate ), but, these ladies took great care to make sure that ALL my Spring preparation needs for my garden, lawn, and fruit trees were met. I found them very attentive, delightful, and knowledgeable. Yvonne even ask if I was a Veteran and since I am, she gave me an additional 10% discount, NOW...that's what I call "customer service" !!!     The plants are lovely but VERY expensive. They do not provide any kind of protection for transferring the plants or help with loading them.

The photo wasn't of anything bad or wrong, it was not misleading or a misrepresentation, it was a legitimate photo of the outside area of the location that she says is shared with a landscaping company, tho what landscape company I do not know. The reasoning stated to me was that the landscaping company didn't want the photo of their area published. The photo was of the locations surroundings just as any Google maps search would provide, so it's not anything that can't be seen anyway. It showed their "shared space" which being "shared" still makes it part of this businesses space which serves as sort of a parking area. The rating on this review is based on the point of contact by the owner to manipulate the initial review by requesting removal of a photo that is a true representation of what is surrounding the business, part of their "shared space", this removes what is also a visual to allow others to find this out of the way place that is not on any main road. I don't feel it is appropriate for a business to private message a Yelp member for the sole purpose of manipulating what is on the review.

    We have 3 large flower beds and tend to our landscape almost on a daily basis. We have educated…read moreourselves on multiple plants and techniques to try to be successful. We have shopped here for a good while and spent a good deal of money at this nursery. They have a good variety and have had good success with our plants. We purchased 3 shrubs (plant in ground) and 3 plants (container) to go around our pool. Within 30 days, despite our effort to help them, they started to brown and drop leaves. We continued to try and help them rally but they continued to die. At about 60 days we took them back to find they only offer 7 day return policy. No store credit, no refund--nothing. This was a total of $200 gone. We have never been told of their policy for returns, it's "on the receipt". All other places we have bought from have a return of 6-12 months. We were shocked and saddened to see their response -- which we were told is because we hand water, no irrigation system and therefore had zero chance of any form of return service. We will not return and hope this helps others not make the same mistake as us.

I love how they bring the seasons to life--it feels almost like stepping into a Hallmark moment. Their collections create a wonderland of products to fit every occasion, often paired with great promotional deals. Unlike other stores, you don't have to wait until the end of the season to enjoy discounts. Kirkland's makes it possible to enjoy special purchases right away, which has always kept me coming back. This time, though, something went very wrong. I had been eyeing a mirror for over six months, but it was out of my budget. However, eventually I knew Kirkland's would come through and offer one of their great sales. And I was thrilled when I received an email showing it at 50% off, 50% off, I couldn't believe it and couldn't wait to enjoy my mirror. While traveling outside, I discovered there was a Kirkland's nearby. Excited, I rushed to the store with the picture and SKU. To my disappointment, I was told the mirror was not part of the promotion or this particular item was only available online. Slightly discouraged but not upset, I decided I would just order it online. Unfortunately, because we were in a rural area, the wifi wasn't strong, so my daughter suggested we wait until we got closer to Alliance to complete the purchase and by then we discovered that it was indeed offered in the store. The promotion looked fresh, so I wasn't worried. But this is where the experience turned unexpectedly negative. I stopped by the Alliance Town Center location (9550 Sage Meadow Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76177), I was treated in a way that felt dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly, borderline discriminatory. When I walked in, no one was at the register. A clerk soon arrived with another customer, so I waited patiently. Another associate approached me, and I explained I was looking for a particular mirror. She discovered there were four in the back, but instead of simply resolving the matter, she repeatedly apologized without explanation, kept looking nervously toward other customers, and even whispered to the manager in a way that made me feel like I was being accused of something. I wasn't sure what was happening, but the whole interaction felt odd and uncomfortable. Eventually, I had the opportunity to visit with the manager and was able to explain what transpire with the other store. However, the manager told me the promotion had ended Sunday and had the other store simply rang up the mirror it would have shown 50% off. I understand promotions have deadlines and wasn't upset about a mistake. Situation, circumstances, mistakes happen. What upset me was the way I was treated: shuffled around, made to wait twice, ignored while other customers were checked out ahead of me, and I left with a sense that I was being handled rather than helped. As I was leaving, the one associate condescending remarked, "Well, you can purchase the mirror at full price," only to be hushed by the manager. I don't understand why it had to be that way. Maybe the staff were having a bad day, maybe they don't enjoy their work, but it was a terrible customer experience, and in my strongest opinion both the associate and the manager did not represent Kirkland's well. I still LOVE Kirkland's and will continue to shop there, but sadly, I'll now go out of my way to avoid that store. I am still hopeful that I'll be able to purchase the mirror someday, but this experience left me disappointed and disheartened. Oh, and the customers that I was push back at the end of the line behind them. They were super people, better people than these two staff members.
