Great spot in Fort Worth for all your tree needs. We've tried skimping on the tree purchases for a while. Over the last 3+ years we've ordered online, gotten free "twigs" from the city and even more. After hearing about the Tree Place from many neighbors, we finally decided to bite the bullet and get a few medium sized trees and The Tree Place was first on our list. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon with our whole family and the shop was super friendly. Mario was our contractor/sales rep and he took great care of us. He even entertained our kids on the golf cart outing roaming around a few of the tree areas that over the 9+ acre store. We ended up getting 4 medium sized trees (3 of the same ones for the side of our house and 1 for the front). All in all, a great experience and we are happy we chose The Tree Place!!! read more

This place is huge and conveniently located between FW and south Arlington. Teddy bear magnolias aren't easy to find around here, but Tree Place had a handful of tall healthy ones for us to pick from. The men outside were very helpful in locating, transporting, and loading up the 2 we selected (they have golf carts to get around). The 1 star deduction is for the discrepancy in prices at check out. The employee I spoke to on the phone quoted $150 per tree. The guys outside that day said $150/tree. But the cashier wanted $200/tree and said he's "giving us a deal" by honoring the stated prices. Having a tag or sign in the area would help immensely. read more

Absolutely amazing property that is packed full of plants, trees and shrubs of every size, shape and color. We parked and didn't even make it in the front door before we were greeted by an employee who happily drove us around in a little 4 seater, helped us pick out an appropriate tree and loaded it up for us. Very highly recommend for any outdoor landscaping needs. The prices are reasonable and they do offer delivery and install if you need it. They also have other items such as outdoor swings and potting soil and such. read more

Definitely the best option when it comes to getting a tree for shadow or fruit. We have purchased over the years a red oak, some apple trees, peach trees and fig trees. The service at the nursery is always friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a huge variety of trees, plants and all the necessary items to feed them and keep them healthy. They will also deliver the trees to your house and plant them in a very profesional way for a very reasonable price. read more

I've bought 5 trees here, 15g live oak , two 15 gallon Monterrey Mexican oak, large 30 or 45 gallon live oak and 15g Lacey blue oak. 4 are thriving and absolutely beautiful and healthy after 1.5-2 years. 1 isn't doing well due to location (water leak over continuous period). Overall I've been to 4 tree farms here locally and this is my first choice for trees of choice in front/back yard. Tons of selection. Knowledgeable staff and they really baby their trees. We were helped by a young lady today. She took us out in a little truck and drive us around to all the trees we were interested in and reviewed prices and specials with us. We couldn't find the pom pom holly we wanted, but we left our name on a call back list. Prices are cheaper than Calloways. They deliver for $100 if you live within a 20 mile radius. read more

We were looking for some help picking out a tree for my front landscape so we went to The Tree Place for the first time last Friday and I am glad we did. As soon as we went into the nursery Gerardo greeted us and asked if we needed help. We told him what we wanted and he took us row by row and showed us the options for the color height and shape we were trying to accomplish. We selected a beautiful Black Diamond Magneta Crape Myrtle and Gerardo carried it to the front, helped us pick out planting mix and loaded our truck for us. Maggie May was the cashier and she was extremely helpful explaining how to plant, water, fertilize, and do the cake test to check the tree to make sure it is not over watered! We are very excited about our purchase, their helpfulness and after the sale support they offer. I would highly reccomend this nursery! read more

I found a variety of crepe myrtles that no one else carries for 30.00 less that the generic varieties I found elsewhere. The tree place is a first class business and have extremely knowledgeable and capable employees. We were blessed to meet Victor today, who planted our tree. Not only did Victor do exceptional work, he went above and beyond the call of duty rarely seen in people who do any kind of work. His work ethic reminded me of my own parents who trained me to not do a job half-heartedly but to do it to the best of your ability or don't do it at all. I'm certain that Victor was raised that way. I love to see people who take pride in their work that way. This is something so rare, it can rarely be taught, you just have to have it as part of the way you love to work. Stopped by to look for some trees. I've used them before and always had great service. Not this time. The woman at the front desk was rude and obviously annoyed that I was asking questions. I purchased 10 live oaks & their planting service. It cost almost $4 grants. After the 2nd week, one of the tree die. I contacted the place. They said give it couple weeks for it to recover and water it more. I did water them more. Two weeks later that tree is completely dead. I came back to The Tree Place again asked them for help. The owner said, they can't help anything and the tree planting service is their sub-contracting which they are not responsible for. They confirmed that they won't guarantee anything.
