Farm grown stuff is just so much better than that hot house, multi vine grown crap you get at the stores. Greens has such a great selection. Produce, fruit, lots of other items, like salsa's, sauces, chips, and tons of other things, and all of it has been really good stuff. Yes, prices are a little higher, but to me it's worth it. Other than the always great tomato's, they always have avocado's that are ready to go, not bright green ones you have to sit on the counter for a week waiting for them to get ripe. They also have a lot of premade stuff, like queso, chicken and potato salads, a reach in fridge full of stuff. They also have a good selection of plants for sale. Just about any produce item, and many fruits, are all here and all quality stuff. Once you start getting produce from here, you'll never buy any mass produced crap from the other stores again. Now, I still buy plenty of food from stores, but yea I guess I'm pretty rabid about crappy corporate produce, lol.

This is a note regarding my experience with the owner of the location when she sent a private…read moremessage and invited us to come back in spring when their inventory is larger as well as to request that I remove a photo that I had placed on the original review. The photo wasn't of anything bad or wrong, it was not misleading or a misrepresentation, it was a legitimate photo of the outside area of the location that she says is shared with a landscaping company, tho what landscape company I do not know. The reasoning stated to me was that the landscaping company didn't want the photo of their area published. The photo was of the locations surroundings just as any Google maps search would provide, so it's not anything that can't be seen anyway. It showed their "shared space" which being "shared" still makes it part of this businesses space which serves as sort of a parking area. The rating on this review is based on the point of contact by the owner to manipulate the initial review by requesting removal of a photo that is a true representation of what is surrounding the business, part of their "shared space", this removes what is also a visual to allow others to find this out of the way place that is not on any main road. I don't feel it is appropriate for a business to private message a Yelp member for the sole purpose of manipulating what is on the review.

On the others side they had all of the trees and bushes, some we've not see elsewhere. They had a Chocolate Mimosa tree that we've been wanting for our lot, tho no price, and we forgot to ask. They had a weeping peach tree, super cool, haven't seen one of those, it had fruit on it as well, tho online sites say the fruit is purely decorative only and not edible. Prices were actually really good, especially on the perineal flowers and the bushes. $8.00 for some of the 1 gallon plants, and all are well grown and healthy. Can beat that price elsewhere. We talked to some of the staff for some time in the office about plants and landscaping, listen to them and them listening to us in regard to our extensive landscaping at our residence. We wanted to see about a Cascade Falls Cypress, which is a weeping cypress tree, they didn't have any in stock, that's no fault of there's, as it's a rare tree that's hard to find, partly because they take years of growth before they can even sale a 3 foot tree. They have a supplier that has them but can't get any until next year. We will return to check on that tree as well as get some other good deals. They have a lot of hardscape items, flagstone, landscape stone, rocks, etc. this is a really nice place.

I can buy just one plant now and know that when I get home it will have been cared for and it will live in my garden. instead of buying three and hoping one will live. But the most important thing is the plant material is beautiful and healthy after you get it home and it will continue to live. I can't wait to my next visit!!! I've worked with landscapers before and usually you get a lot of talk and not a lot of follow through. This was different. They gave us a few design options, walked us through everything, and actually communicated throughout the whole project which was huge for me. What really stood out was the quality of the work. We've paid for "premium" service in the past and never really felt like we got it. With Blooming Colors, you can tell they care. The details, the cleanup, the way everything came together, it just felt right. Now our backyard is a place we actually want to spend time in again, which I didn't think I'd say a few months ago. We'll be using them going forward for both our home and our rental properties here in Southlake. No question.

We have shopped here for a good while and spent a good deal of money at this nursery. They have a good variety and have had good success with our plants. We purchased 3 shrubs (plant in ground) and 3 plants (container) to go around our pool. Within 30 days, despite our effort to help them, they started to brown and drop leaves. We continued to try and help them rally but they continued to die. At about 60 days we took them back to find they only offer 7 day return policy. No store credit, no refund--nothing. This was a total of $200 gone. We have never been told of their policy for returns, it's "on the receipt". All other places we have bought from have a return of 6-12 months. We were shocked and saddened to see their response -- which we were told is because we hand water, no irrigation system and therefore had zero chance of any form of return service. We will not return and hope this helps others not make the same mistake as us.
