Over the last 3+ years we've ordered online, gotten free "twigs" from the city and even more. After hearing about the Tree Place from many neighbors, we finally decided to bite the bullet and get a few medium sized trees and The Tree Place was first on our list. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon with our whole family and the shop was super friendly. Mario was our contractor/sales rep and he took great care of us. He even entertained our kids on the golf cart outing roaming around a few of the tree areas that over the 9+ acre store. We ended up getting 4 medium sized trees (3 of the same ones for the side of our house and 1 for the front). All in all, a great experience and we are happy we chose The Tree Place!!!

We have shopped here for a good while and spent a good deal of money at this nursery. They have a good variety and have had good success with our plants. We purchased 3 shrubs (plant in ground) and 3 plants (container) to go around our pool. Within 30 days, despite our effort to help them, they started to brown and drop leaves. We continued to try and help them rally but they continued to die. At about 60 days we took them back to find they only offer 7 day return policy. No store credit, no refund--nothing. This was a total of $200 gone. We have never been told of their policy for returns, it's "on the receipt". All other places we have bought from have a return of 6-12 months. We were shocked and saddened to see their response -- which we were told is because we hand water, no irrigation system and therefore had zero chance of any form of return service. We will not return and hope this helps others not make the same mistake as us.

They helpfully post updated plant stock on Facebook, which helped in my thinking through my purchase before I even arrived. I was able to talk to staff and get some good input on my plans. It's not a huge shop but the selection is incredible. It's not often I'd drive 1.5 hr round trip, but I will again to shop at Rooted In.

We had so much fun walking around the nursery and picking out the exact plants we wanted and now I get to see them in my front yard every day. Some of our neighbors use their landscape maintenance service and my goodness their yards look like manicured showpieces, whenever I'm ready to give up taking care of my own yard this will be who I use. They gave us a few design options, walked us through everything, and actually communicated throughout the whole project which was huge for me. What really stood out was the quality of the work. We've paid for "premium" service in the past and never really felt like we got it. With Blooming Colors, you can tell they care. The details, the cleanup, the way everything came together, it just felt right. Now our backyard is a place we actually want to spend time in again, which I didn't think I'd say a few months ago. We'll be using them going forward for both our home and our rental properties here in Southlake. No question.

Really a nice little shop, super clean, well lit and lots of nice product. My wife went there to buy a very specialized fertilizer for her organic growing. While at the shop, I noticed he had not only built the building recently, but also did organic based yard service mowing, aeration, fertilization, compost, compost tea, leveling all sorts of services. I wanted to do aeration for quite some time, but it's just been difficult finding either a location that would rent the equipment or finding someone to do it without charging a small fortune. I'm probably outside of his service area but not terribly far from the shop. Nothing a small modest fuel surcharge wouldn't cover. Still economically viable. While at the shop I let him know I was interested and he suggested that I go on the website and fill out a service request to get a formal quote. I provided aerial photos of the yard, and some quality of the current grass. We determine that a full aeration of my lot, which is roughly an acre, an application of the compost tea, and a full mow edge and weed-eat would be a great start to spring. I got that scheduled and unfortunately that day came and it was raining. It was really convenient to push it off a few days and the weather was beautiful. We got it done in a couple of hours, it was a very painless process. One thing that I noticed is he has all brand new equipment so that means no breakdowns or delays in getting the service completed. He's investing for the future and I really like how he handles and manages his business. Great experience all the way around.

With an upcoming very special event I was going to, I took no chances and opted for a pick up order. Just in case, ya know? I needed something breathtaking and grand. I did my usual process and scoped out their website being a first time customer of this particular shop. I called and happened to speak to Gail herself. We discussed some modifications and I crossed my fingers. I felt she really listened and was upfront with the inventory she had and ability to fulfill the order. It was pricey but I felt confident. I came in the next day to pick up the arrangement and was surprised that it was a shop on her home property. It was felt so personal and quaint. She showed me the arrangement that was ready at the specified pick up time and I was blown away! With the color modifications and the flower alternatives we discussed, it came out gorgeous. I could not have asked for anything to be done better. It was perfect for the event and everyone loved it. I will definitely be a returning customer!
